She couldn't breathe anymore, it was death like no other – he was gone, she didn't believe him when he told he would leave. He couldn't leave, he was the best thing that ever happened to her – after Hayner and Pence had left to discover the new worlds. They had to fight to, like Roxas who really wasn't Roxas – he was Sora's nobody. They had left her there to rot, because the King needed them – just like they needed him. She couldn't breathe anymore, her sobs taking over and the only cure was on his way to meet his precious King. She ran to meet him there, she didn't understand why she did it – she didn't love him, he wasn't Roxas.
He wasn't hers, but she needed him to stay together – because she was too broken. She ran, the tears falling and her breath short – she ran with such speed that she couldn't stop. She couldn't scream his name when she could spot his silver hair, gleaming in the sun; she could only run wanting his embrace. What she received instead was not what she expected – a keyblade pierced her heart, expecting a heartless or a nobody instead she was its victim.
"Riku," she whispered with all her strength, blood trickling out of her body as she fell to her knees. He rushed to her, his keyblade thrown to his side and she smiled – because he cared, oh how he cared. It hurt, but he held her gently holding her to his chest and she could hear his heart beat quickly.
"Olette, I'm so sorry—" his eyes were pleading her to stay with him, but she was broken and she had gotten what she had came for. "I didn't mean to hurt you, I thought—"
"Hush." She told him in her motherly voice. "You'll wake up soon, it's just a bad dream—" she flinched with pain, oh how it hurt. He didn't answer her, he just held her tight in his arms - mumbling his apologizes again, and again.
"Thank you," she whispered.
"For what?" his voice was gentle, but cold.
"Setting me free."
He stayed like that for a moment – until he realized her time had past, he kissed her cold dead lips and then closed her eyes, so she could sleep evermore.
