Frank Hardy had never been the jealous one. He'd always had to keep his brother from being jealous. But for some reason he was really jealous of Keenya Cain. She had the best singing voice in the Junior class at Bayport High & to top it all off, she'd gotten accepted to Harvard Law when she graduated High School. Then there was the fact that she was an Army BRAT. And she'd been all around the world. He'd always been really linant [leen-yant about everybody & what they did, but for some reason, he really, really hated Keenya.
She had everything that most people didn't. She had a wonderful dad (not saying he didn't), but then again, nobody ever met Keenya's dad. She was always making up excuses for him, why couldn't she just tell the truth for once? She always had to be right. Why was that? Nobody knew & he really didn't care. She was a spoiled BRAT & they both knew it. Her college would be paid for & he would have to pay his own way. Or so he thought.
