This is an AU story & my take on what should have happened with Elizabeth & Jack. Many of the original events of the series will be included, as well as some that I create. Some of the events will be omitted and others will be changed to fit my story. The timeline of the events have also changed to fit what I wanted to tell. Allie is looking forward to her first 'real' Christmas but will it be her only Christmas in Hope Valley. This is a retelling of "Home for Christmas". Changes have been made and characters added to the Hope Valley ensemble.

In the aftermath of their whirlwind courtship, Lucas Bouchard and Elizabeth Thornton are on the verge of starting a new life together when tragedy strikes and threatens to destroy it all. This story is taken from a new country song I heard on the radio that gave me the inspiration to begin a new story of Elizabeth and Jack and the situation that brings them together.

Lots of activities are coming from the Family Fun Festival to Bill and Molly's wedding this fall. Expansions to Hope Valley bring in more folks and buildings.
