Triumphs and Defeats
Disclaimer: If I really owned Pokemon, Why would I have put this on I would just make a ten hour-long movie for this.
Author's Note: This chapter is one of the shortest, but probably also one of the most important.
Fun Fact: All the Eeveelutions, which are fire, water, electric, dark, psychic, grass, and ice, were special types in RSE. The only special type that hasn't been an evolution of Eevee yet is Dragon type.

Apoxous…
A fitting name for my power, my intelligence, my malevolence.
Even if the vacuum of space is infinite, it still does not come even close to my raw power. Yes, this starry void is still not as dark as my soul.
With a massive bound off of the gleaming fortress behind me, I easily cover many miles. There is an endless darkness surrounding me, peppered with hundreds of thousands of glowing pinpricks.
I fire off a series of Embers behind me, obliterating Rybos' laboratory, somewhat propelling me backwards.
Because there is no oxygen in space, the flames quickly dwindle as they use up the rest of the behemoth's supply. All that is left is a scorched chunk of metal, doomed to float eternally until it is swallowed up by a black hole.
Now comes the problem of how to move anywhere. There is nothing to push against, and no friction whatsoever. My fate now seems akin to what the spaceship will experience.
However, my brain quickly notices the answers from my previous annihilation of the structure. By giving off a series of projectiles in the direction opposite of the route in which I wish to travel, I am able to propel myself forward.
I choose a random direction to travel and start firing off a sequence of Embers and Water Guns. Hour after hour I continue to do this, slowly burning out my energy.
For days, it feels, I continue, to the point where I have seemingly exhausted nearly every attack I know.
After quite a while, I detect a flaming mass of hydrogen. There are bound to be rocks upon which I can rest for a while.
With renewed energy, I speed towards the blazing lump.
Within ten hours, I reach a large orange-red planet, slowing roaming in an elliptical motion. When I try to land, though, I realize the gaseous material of which it is composed, and reluctantly take off again.
I am so weak. All my strength has been sapped from me in this somewhat pointless journey.
My throat is incredibly sore from letting off all the attacks by now. My arms and legs are blocks of 50 tricalcium silicate, 25 dicalcium silicate, 10 tricalcium aluminate, 10 tetracalcium aluminoferrite, and 5 gypsum.
Eventually, I notice a small chunk of rock floating in the nothingness.
I shoot off another Icy Wind, slightly to the left this time, in order to propel myself closer to the floating ball.
Upon closer examination, it appears to be mostly blue. On its surface are three major green and brown spots, with many smaller dots surrounding them. In the middle is the largest one, twice as big as the others. In the very middle of that smudge is a chain of high-rising peaks dividing it in half.
As I near the planet, I observe many wooden and steel rectangular prisms, mostly grouped together. The patches of green and brown are more separate now, and I can now glimpse smaller pieces of blue scattered in between.
Closer and closer I approach. Suddenly, I feel something odd. Oxygen molecules! I have no need to breathe this, obviously, as I my energy reserve was already high enough so that I did not have to gain any. However, there is one good thing about this. Finally, there is something to push against, some friction.
The world's gravity is now slowly dragging me down. I could easily escape its pull if I wanted to, but I decide not to.
Hmm…I feel a bit warm. Hey, I'm on fire now. Ah, well, I just decide to shoot a Water Gun in front of me, which doubles back and cools me.
Ozone molecules appear now. Tiny molecules of hydrogen fused with oxygen now surround me. They slow my speed slightly.
Abruptly, my observations are ended by a blinding rush of emerald hurtling towards me at a rate of thousands of miles an hour.
It smashes into me, knocking me off course far to the right. I curl up, attempting to decrease the air friction now, attempting to escape this behemoth.
I feel too weak for a battle with this thing now. Perhaps a little time to rest, and I would then be able to obliterate it.
The green juggernaut races towards me, unfazed by my resiliency, amazingly.
I am now racing downward at unprecedented speeds. The oxygen is getting thicker now, and I am getting much warmer. Just as I try to aim a Water Gun again, I slam into the ground and create a massive crater. A massive cloud of dirt rises up in the air and blows off in all directions.
That actually hurt! It's impossible! Nothing should hurt me!
The blur has now stopped, only a few hundred yards above the ground. Now, I closely study it.
It is a long, emerald reptile, coated in shimmering scales. Upon its thin body are a dozen yellowish markings. Quite a few green plates jut out of it, thinly bordered by red. It has two stick-like arms, each with three claws. The eyes are located on two ridges directly above its gleaming red fangs. Four long rods poke out behind it eyes, seemingly to intimidate its enemies.
The organism floats above me, not even moving as it studies me.
Taking perfect advantage of this, I shoot a Mud Shot at the bright green creature.
It dodges easily, exerting practically no effort.
Then, it makes an oddly grotesque face. I am somewhat startled by this, but then I dash out of the crater and aim a Gust at the ground using my mouth. This lifts me up in the air a few hundred feet.
I glance at the landscape. It is a freezing wasteland, sparsely populated by only a few organisms.
However, while I am thinking this, I drop downward slightly, and I aim a Gust at the ground again to stay afloat.
Why did Rybos not give me the ability to fly? The idiot!
As I break out of this thought, I notice a yellow beam of energy emanating from the opponent's mouth. I try to dodge, but I feel unnaturally slow for some reason. The beam finds its target and I topple downward, spiraling towards the ground.
With another Gust, I am up again, this time ready to damage the nuisance.
I stretch forward and use a Vine Whip to assault the creature. Though it hits, the foe seems not too badly damaged by it.
Once again, it barrels towards me, colliding unopposed and sending me backwards. At the same time, it slashes at me using one of its claws, which glows for a second before it contacts me.
Once again, I meet the ground, and once again, I lift myself up.
The foe dashes towards me again, but I counter with a Double Kick. However, I fall down once more, while my opponent flies upward.
It zooms upward to the layer of ozone again, and then it races downward. Closer and closer it approaches, about to ram into me at the speed of sound.
KOOOOM!!! A massive crater appears again, almost as large as the first one.
Then, just inches from me, it fires two more massive beams. Only a jiffy before they hit me.
I cease to exist.
No, I am the last power! I will return! Even if I have to rebuild myself atom by atom, molecule by molecule, using just my mind.
I am Apoxous.
