The mask that you wear
So happy, so free
Is not the you
That I want to see
You hide yourself
with that stupid grin
but when you're alone
the tears start to win
I pretend not to care
act angry, it's true
but at the end of the day
I want to say I love you
The anger you have
Pointed at me
I deserve it
but just let me be
I want to hide
to be alone
But you can see me
You've always known
The sadness in my heart
it longs for you
Why can't I say
I love you
