Chapter 1

Past is the past?

A sandy blond was running down a cobble stone path, through the burning city and past screaming men and woman, to the last un-burnt church in the small town hoping the "Master" hadn't killed him. His heart raced at the thought, his pace quickened to an inhuman speed. 'I'll kill him,' he thought harshly 'If he hurt you I'll kill him.' He burst into the church not caring that the cross began to burn his soft skin, he darted to the alter, seeing a body at its base.

He screamed him self awake, in a cold sweat crying, and whishing for morning to come to break his fear. The door swung open and in came a little boy "Ryo are you ok?!" asked an alarmed little saggy blond child. "Im...sniff fine, Bikky."

"No Ryo you're not this is the 8th time this week, you've woken up like this. Ryo you're not fine."

"…." Ryo sat silently.

"Ryo…you can't keep doing this to yourself, even I have someone to care for and take care of. Ryo where's your someone?"

"Bikky," Ryo sighed "I don't think that me being in love has anything to do with my sleep. I'm just a little stressed right now." Ryo said sleepily

"Whatever you say, Ryo. You gonna be ok?" Bikky wasn't convinced

"I think so…but could you sleep in here tonight?" Knowing that would were off the suspicion.

"Sure, Ryo." Bikky said, and ran to get his pillow. Running back in the room seconds later. "Ryo someone's here for you."

"What?! It's 4:30 in the morning." Ryo was shocked him self as he walked out of the room to find a police officer standing in his front doorway, with his back turned to Ryo and Bikky.

"Can…Can I help you?" Ryo kept thinking that he looked oddly familiar (even though his back was turned to him)

"I hope so," the man turned around "My name is" Ryo cut off the raven haired officer.

"I know who you are, Bikky go to your room" Ryo said in an unusually stern voice

"But R"

"NOW BIKKY!"

Bikky scrambled out of the room

"Um…I can come back later" the officer said shyly

"Is...is it really you" tears filled Ryos eye's "Dee?"
