Memory - A parody of Memory from Cats
Erik:
Midnight.
Not a sound from the theater.
As I look in the mirror
And I see my own face.
In the candlelight
I think about this horrible place
And that hard fight
For her love.
Memory.
All alone in the sewers.
Thinking only about her
And the love that I have.
I can't remember a time I knew what happiness was.
Let my memories
Live again.
Every candle
Seems to taunt me
Telling me I won't win.
But I think diff'rent then them.
I say no way!
There will soon be a day
When Christine is mine!
Daylight.
I never do see it.
Down here it is only night.
It's always so dark.
The only light
Is from the candles' sparks.
But a new day
Won't be this way.
A life with her
Will be much more
Than living in this sewer!
She means everything
And the way that she sings
Is enough
For me to love her!
Love me!
Christine, please just love me!
Even though I may bring you
Horrible memories.
I promise it will not be like it was before.
Please come back.
Just once more.
A/N: I'd like to thank The Child Writing Prodigy for requesting a parody of Memory. Are there any more anyone would like to see? Just tell me.
