Character: Isaac
There's a simplicity to it, to holding a brush in his hand. The rest of the world fades away to nothing until it's just him that's left – this is all he needs, he can believe when he's covered in paint and focused on a canvas.
Simone, Peter, his powers, his addiction: they fail to matter any more.
Red, blue, yellow, green: they'll all that count.
The picture slowly takes form in front of him as he gives it life, pouring himself into it, like giving birth. People and emotions form at a brushstroke.
When he's painting, he feels like God.
