Jack's flirted with a lot of religions (well, alright. He's flirted with the clergy from a lot of religions), but he's never had the stomach for it. How could you believe in some higher power living in the clouds when you're soaring past them?
He's not into that hocus-pocus side of it all either; omnipresent spirits and invisible gods and anything else. If you can shoot it, it's real.
But as he stands there and watches the TARDIS disappearing, he has faith in one thing: the Doctor will come back for him. He wouldn't just leave without him. Would he?
