Can You Pull Over Ma'am?
Chapter 2
Troy has just got home from a busy shift and the meeting with Gabi. He is met at home by his friend who is about to leave as he thought Troy was not home. Troy invites him into the house.
'So what you been doing lately?' asked Sammy, Troy's friend.
'Oh nothing. The usual .I met criminals, more criminals and even more criminals. Can you believe that?' said Troy as he pulled a Root Beer out of the fridge.
'Well you are a cop you know,' said Sammy fingering the soft froth which lay on the top of his cup.
'I know, but I have always wanted to do something with my life. My dad was a cop before me and my grandfather before that which has always made me think this was the way, the only way that I could live and enjoy my life at the same time as paying tribute to my family.' He took a sip out of the can.
'Today I saw the key to freedom. I stopped it on the highway. Gabriella Montez was her name', he said dreamily.
'How do you know her name?' asked Sammy.
'I saw it on her driver's license,' he looked straight at Sammy.
'Soon she will be Gabriella Bolton!' said Troy.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door...
