Wo, wo, wo guys! Don't worry, I still have a ton of things I need to fit in before I can even classify this story done. Don't worry :) As I've said before I do have an idea of how the 'couple switch' is going to go and I've started writing the chapter. It might not be what you expect however. Thank you all for your feedback and request. I'm really having a lot of fun with this story! Although I realize that I am being absolutely horrible to Percy. SORRY PERCY I DO LOVE YOU!

Anyway, I figured that I would assure you I still have quite a few chapter ideas up my sleeve. I just wanted you to know I've started writing another fanfiction which I will post once this story is close to being done.

I do not own Percy Jackson, all rights belong to Rick Riordan.

Calypso let out a long breath of air as she examined the mirror before her. She was wearing a glorious white dress, not too flashy, modest. The way she wanted it. Gaea milled around her, checking stitches, and the size to make sure it was perfect for the special day. It was almost as if yesterday hadn't happened. It did happen. Calypso knew that.

At the time when Percy was informed of the daughter of Athena's death, Calypso thought the few tears that escaped him would have been it. She was unfortunately wrong because it all happened in a flash. Percy scrambled to his feet and darted to the forest without saying a word. The sound of him crashing through the trees still echoed in her ears. Some part of him had snapped awake.

"Percy!" Sally had screamed as she ran after her son.

Calypso remembered standing dumbly on the beach with Percy's step father. The man gave her a brief glare before running after his family. There had been an ominous chill in the air as soon as Percy had taken off. Calypso found herself bolting after them. Through the brush she caught glimpses of Paul darting around broken branches and over above ground roots. She had nearly reached him, but tripped over something.

"Ahhh." She yelped as she hit the ground.

The daughter of Atlas glared at the object that had tripped her. It was a shoe, Percy's shoe to be more precise. As she stood Calypso began examining the branches around her. There were strands of black hair caught in them. Her heart sank when she realized that he didn't care that he was hurting himself. This was her doing, she was allowing this abuse to continue. Calypso collected the discarded shoes and continued to follow Percy's path of destruction.

"PERCY! I don't ever, EVER want you doing that ever!" A familiar voice snapped. "Do you understand me young man?"

For a moment everything was quiet. She slowed her jog and wondered if he had calmed down. An argument could be heard and the familiar red flash reached her eyes. Calypso felt as if the world stopped. They were hurting him again! When she finally reached the clearing she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Trees had been slaughtered in the area; many were piling up on one another. As she continued to scan the area she could see Percy was collapsed onto the ground, trembling with pain.

Sally tried to reach for him, but Cupid was too fast, the Roman god snatched her away by her arm.

"LET GO OF ME." She screamed frantically. "THAT'S MY SON!"

The god of love's face remained uncaring as he tugged her farther from the crumpled form of Percy. Calypso heard Paul let out a cry of indignation as he rushed the god who held his wife captive. It was a very unwise move. With a flick of his wrist, Cupid sent the man flying back towards his step son. Paul rolled in time to avoid crashing onto the already out cold demigod.

"Paul!" Sally screamed.

The dark haired god spat, "You dare address me in such a manor!"

It all happened in slow motion. Energy built up in Cupid's hand, as he scowled at the mortal. The god's large, ruffled wings spread from behind his back. He still held Sally's wrist tightly with one hand. Calypso saw the mortal look from the god and then to the boy who was right next to him. Just as Cupid released the large amount of magic towards the two, Paul collected Percy in his arms to shield the child from the blast.

Calypso couldn't bare to watch and quickly turned her head. She flinched when she heard Cupid's magic hit it's mark. Or so she thought. Gathering up her courage Calypso looked at the field. A large wall of earth had protected the two. Calypso let out a sigh of relief when she could see Paul shifting behind the wall. Her moment was short lived when Gaea appeared.

The scowl on the Earth goddess's face was a sure sign that she was unhappy.

"What are you thinking?" She hissed and let the wall collapse.

"What am I thinking!" Cupid's face turned red, "What were you thinking bringing her here!"

The god of love pulled the mortal he held roughly forward. Calypso, at first, couldn't understand the relevance of Sally being on the island until she remembered Cupid's curse. A true love's kiss could brake the spell. All Sally had to do was give him a simple kiss on the forehead and Percy was free from the curse. True love didn't really have a specific definition. A mother's love for her child was one of the purest kinds of love there was.

"Explain yourself!" Gaea demanded.

Cupid face palmed with his free hand, "That girl wasn't the only type of true love he would ever have. Sally would die for him and he would for her. You almost destroyed your own plan."

"Wha-what are you going to do to her?" Paul demanded as he placed Percy gently on the ground.

Gaea sighed, "Her away until the wedding."

"NO!" Paul shouted.

"Paul." Sally told him and grunted as Cupid tugged her back. "Don't fight it. Just protect my baby the best you can. He needs you more than me."

The mortal man's eyes widened, "Sally..."

"Promise me Paul!" Sally begged with tears in her eyes. "Protect him."

"I will."

Cupid dissipated, taking Sally Jackson with him. Paul seemed lost in shock for the longest time. Just at the mortal's feet Calypso could see that Percy was beginning to stir from his stupor. She wasted no time rushing to her fallen fiancé's side. Calypso supported his head in the crook of her arm.

"Brave one." The sea nymph whispered as she shook him. "Wake up."

He whimpered slightly, like he was still in pain. Calypso could see his eyes darting rapidly under his eyelids. It was as if he was caught in a nightmare. Again she gave him another jostle, hoping to free him from the trance. To her relief his eyes began to flutter open.

She had expected to see the beautiful sea green eyes she had been accustom to. To her horror they were a deep pink, nearly red.

"Hello my love." He whispered in an even tone. Calypso shuddered in voluntarily, that was not Percy's usual tone of voice.

"Are you alright?" She asked as she caressed his flushed cheek.

Percy leaned into her hand and his reddish-pink eyes looked at her lovingly, but they were hallow at the same time, "Why wouldn't I be?"

Calypso let out a deep sigh as she brought herself back into the present. It would take some time for her to get use to him looking as he did. She could come to love his red eyes, just as she could get use to him being so distant. Gaea began humming as she fixed a few more stiches onto the gown.

The sea nymph fought the hotness in the back of her throat. How did this happen?

"Don't worry granddaughter." Gaea purred and placed her hands on Calypso's shoulders. "You look lovely and your wedding shall be in a few days."

Calypso couldn't stand to look at herself in the mirror, "Percy is different."

"Just extra precaution." Gaea assured her as she began to dissapate. "Now get changed and spend time with your love."

With that the sea nymph was left alone. She quickly shed the dress and replaced it with her normal clothing. When she exited her home she saw Percy standing just outside, staring out in the distance as if looking for something. The sun surrounded him like a golden outline. He looked beautiful, immortal.

Gaea's last words echoed in her head. 'Your love'. Was he really her love?

The son of Poseidon turned to look at her. "Calypso."

From a distance his smile seemed genuine. Calypso's heart began to beat rapidly, she wished desperately that it were true. He ran up to her and encircled his arms around her. She loved how secure it felt to be in his embrace. Her head rested on his shoulder and she took in his salty sent.

"Hello." She whispered and rubbed her hands onto his back. "My brave one."

He dipped his head down, soft puffs of air tickling her ear, "How are you feeling? You seem worried."

"I am fine." Calypso told him. "Just hold me."

They stood together. He rocked her back and forth as if they were dancing. They spun slowly as if moved by inaudible music. For the moment she felt peace just shifting along the grass with him. She tried to stifle the tears that were stinging her eyes.

If only this were true, it'd feel even more magical.

Someone cleared their throat angrily. Looking up from Percy's broad shoulder the best she could, Calypso could see Paul scowling at her. She knew he was angry, maybe he even hated her for the problems she had brought onto his family. He couldn't raise a hand against her though. Percy, influenced to love her by the spell, would retaliate.

Calypso didn't say anything, she just tucked her face back into the fabric of Percy's shirt. She could still feel Paul's glare on her, but at least Percy's form seemed to block him out. With a soft sigh Calypso held him closer and they continued to dance.

I know that this was a slower chapter, but you needed to know what happened to Sally. She is alright, for the most part, I promise! And as I said before the story is NOT finished yet don't worry!
