Author's note:
First of all, I would like to say sorry to all the people who have been waiting for the ending of this story for a long time. To be honest, I kinda lost my groove when Glee ended. So here is the last chapter and possibly my last Glee fanfic. Thank you so much for all the reviews I received in the Glee stories that I put up. I have to say sorry if there is a lot of grammatical error in here mainly because I didn't used Beta to check this chapter. I will still be writing when I had the time but it will not be Glee unfortunately.
Chapter 8
As Roderick reached home, he was feeling really depressed and this caught Kate's attention instantly.
"Hey Cuz, everything alright?" Kate asked in a concern tone.
Roderick didn't even tried to look at her as he slowly went up to his room closing the door. Roderick slowly laid on the bed trying not to cry but he knows that he couldn't hold everything anymore. He slowly cried looking up the ceiling. He thought to himself that he really missed the chance to be with Jane and possibly ruined his friendship with her.
Downstairs, Kate was really confused but she had a clear idea what made Roderick like that. She took her car keys and quickly drove back to Jane's house. She quickly went out and literally banged on the door. Inside, Jane was crying leaning on the door. She was really devastated that she hurt her best friend feelings.
"Open this door Jane!" Kate yelled as she kept banging on the door.
"What do you want Kate?" Jane said still sobbing
"I want you to say sorry to Roderick right now" Kate said angrily
"Roderick already hates me Kate. I tried to say sorry but he didn't want to listen. I feel so bad. I didn't meant to hurt him this much. I really cared about him."
"He doesn't hate you Jane. He will never hate you. He liked you from the very first day he met you. You were the first girl that ever made him smile. I just hope he will forgive you for what you did" Kate said with a sigh as she began to walk away.
Jane just sat there trying to calm herself. She finally realised that she does have feelings for Roderick. She just tried to think of a way to tell her sorry to him.
A few hours later
Roderick still laid on his bed finally getting some sleep when he heard Kate's voice calling for him
"Roderick! There's someone here that wants to see you!" Kate yelled but Roderick didn't want to go down at all
"Just tell whoever it is that I am tired and just wanna have some sleep" Roderick said then sighed. He was still down and looked at the ceiling.
After a few minutes, someone entered his room. Roderick didn't even tried to look at who it is as he kept looking up. The moment after that really took him by surprised. It was a voice that he would have never thought would he hear in a million years
"Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you
Tell you I need you
Tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets
And ask me your questions
Oh, let's go back to the start
"J-Jane? What are you doing here?" Roderick asked in disbelieve as she kept looking at him singing the song. She was wearing a white dress with red heels. Roderick couldn't believe his eyes. Jane was standing in front of him
"Running in circles
Coming up tails
Heads on a science apart
Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh, take me back to the start
I was just guessing
At numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Jane kept walking forward towards him. When he is in front of him, she slowly placed her hands on his face while smiling. She couldn't believe that the right one is right in front of him talking to her every day.
"Questions of science
Science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart

Come back and haunt me
Oh, and I rush to the start
Running in circles
Chasing our tails
Coming back as we are

As Jane finished the song. She stood there in front of Roderick who was really shocked. His facial expression shows it all. His jaw dropped and his eyes widen in disbelieve. The next thing that happened shocked him even more. Slowly, Jane leaned towards him and kissed him on the cheek. Roderick wrapped his arm around her as he kissed her back.
After a while, Roderick pulled back then looked at Jane directly at her eyes smiling. He was happy again
"What about Mason?" Roderick asked her then Jane smiled
"Mason is a great guy but he was not the right one for me. The right one is right in front of me. I was the only one who was foolish enough not to notice it much sooner." Jane said with a smile as he kissed him on the cheek
"I love you so much Roderick."
"I love you too Jane"
