Authors Note: I know it took too long to update. I gave myself a concussion not long ago and I have field lacrosse provincials this weekend. I typed this at my cabin over the weekend using the notes on my Ipod. I appologize for the wait but I will try harder to update.

I wasn't too sure about how this day would go. Even after Kyoya met me at the train the nerves were still there. No doubt that Tamaki had told the twins and turned them against us. I wanted to find out what exact story they'd been told however. It wouldn't surprise me if Tamaki manipulated the situation so I was being blackmailed or something.

Sighing I continued my walk towards the school gates alone. Since I was technically a boy here still it wouldn't make sense for me to exit from Kyoyas limo. Being alone meant that I had to face the nerves that were turning my stomach inside out without him. That was one of my flaws, for things like tests and what normal people freaked out about didn't faze me. Having to face people in an awkward way like this did make me nervous. The host club boys were my only friends, what if they all turned against me?

I did like Kyoya. Contrary to popular belief we had always been similar, academically and otherwise. I didn't know exactly how I felt about him until after we kissed in the snow. I just didn't want us being together romantically to destroy the club and the friendships that had been made in it.

At first glance the courtyard would have seemed normal as would the hallways. To me it was no were near ordinary. The twins weren't sprinting down the halls to throw their arms around me and Tamaki wasn't screaming at them for it. Their morning routine drew quite a bit of attention yet it was oddly silent today.

The rest of the day passed like that. The twins gave me the cold shoulder in class and during lunch. They flat out ignored me while Tamaki was spouting some sickeningly sappy things to me. Did he really think that was what I liked? I assume that Mori and Huni know was they both gave me knowing looks when Kyoya gave me his Ootoro from his lunch.

After last block the small amount of time before host club felt like years. A brief trip to the library after class meant I avoided the crowded hallways and now listened to my footsteps echo. I dreaded opening those doors now. What catastrophe was awaiting me? Kyoya vs. Tamaki? Twins vs Kyoya? If only they could be happy for us.

As the door swung open my eyes widened. The twins were currently looking over Kyoya who sat ignoring them at his laptop. Tamaki was watching them with a gleeful smile. He obviously had something to do with this. Mori and Huni were sitting at their usual table watching the situation wearily. Those two were the only ones who noticed me come in.

"Haru-chan!" Huni shrieked as he ran across the room for throw himself into my arms. Sheer force of his jump sent me spinning in circles. When I finally regained my balance he was peering up at me. "Is it true you are dating Kyoya?"

The entire room seemed to freeze. The three idiots heads spun to look at me, Mori glanced up to my face instead of staring at his cousin. Even Kyoya quit typing though he didn't face me. All the attention was on me for a brief moment and I wasn't used to it. Hunis' eyes remained staring innocently up at me from my arms.

"Of course she isn't" Hikaru interrupted the silence. Six pairs of eyes spun to him. Everyone but Kyoya had turned to see Hikaru laughing. "The boss was playing a joke on us. Haruhi could never date the shadow king. Right Haruhi?" he continued laughing all the while. It was as if he expected me to laugh with him and say that he was right, but he wasn't.

Tamaki smiled at Kyoya and nodded. "Of course! Their too different to date. I mean out sweet, beautiful princess and the shadow king. I must have been mistaken" he told everyone. I saw Kyoya tense and knew I was too. Tamaki was t mistaken, he had seen us. He was lying to the others to turn them against the idea of us.

"I think they'd be cute" Huni exclaimed as he jumped out of my arms. "Their sort of a good height together. Unlike if it was Mori and Haru for their both at the same level academically, unlike Hikaru. They both had demonic sides if you do a certain thing, unlike Tamaki. Both are headstrong and independent, unlike Kaoru. Haruhi and Kyoya also have a high level of maturity, unlike me" he said thoughtfully. He had just compared all the host clubs members to traits Kyoya and I shared that they didn't. Was he on our side?

That seemed to demean what Tamaki had said. All were thinking about the possibility now. Tamaki was fuming that his plan hadn't worked, Hikaru was getting steadily angry, kaoru seemed thoughtful while Huni and Mori just smiled at me. Kyoya had been silent this entire time but I knew he was listening. Ever since I walked in his typing had ceased, which meant he was focused on something around him without actually looking.

"Haruhi hasn't actually answered us yet" a deep voice rumbled from the back of the room. My eyes shot to Mori who gave me a small smile. He had a point, I hadn't answered them. I was still somewhat surprised that had had spoken, and on this topic of all things.

Once again all eyes turned to me. Three sets anxious, two seemed happy with whatever I picked. The missing set was the only one I wanted to see. He hid so much emotion behind his glasses though seeing what he was feeling right now might help me. "I...I am dating Kyoya"

Chaos was what happened next. Huni squealed and jumped in my arms again to hug me while Mori grinned. Kaoru looked shocked; Tamaki screamed something about "my precious daughter! No!" It was Hikaru who shocked us all. In his anger he strode across the room towards Kyoya.

Grey eyes flashed from the computer to meet brown (I forget!) before the surprising happened. A loud slap sounded in the room making us all fall silent. Kyoyas glasses skittered across the floor while Hikaru stood with his hand raised. "You bastard!" He yelled, "You knew how I felt. She was probably blackmailed into dating you. What girl would ever go out with someone like you?!"

Those words spurred me into motion. "I pity the girl who ends up with you Hikaru" I said clearly as I walked toward them. His eyes flashed to me in surprise. "Kyoya isn't perfect but neither are you. Underneath his little charade Kyoyas a great guy. You were too much of a coward to ask me out and Kyoya wasn't. He got to me first all of you! Does this look like I'm being blackmailed?" I asked them before kissing Kyoya. His eyes widened a little but he returned my kiss from where he remained sitting.

The entire room had different reactions. Tamaki screamed and attempting running to us to pull me away. Mori however caught the back of his shirt and immobilized him. Huni awed in a cute voice. Hikaru backed away shocked and looked at Tamaki. Kaoru smiled at us, putting a hand on his twins shoulder to stop him from doing further stupid things. When Kyoya and I pulled apart he raised an eyebrow but I just smiled.

It was Huni who handed Kyoya his glasses again. I was almost sad to see him put them back on. The familiar glare from the sun prevented anyone from seeing his eyes as he stood. Wrapping an arm around my waist he stared at the club with an unyielding gaze. He was determined about whatever he was about to say. Leaning down he kissed me cheek, making Tamaki shriek once again. With a smirk on his face he began to speak.

"Haruhi is dating me out of her own free choice. I'm dating her because I like her, no other reason. We are happy so all of you idiots stop trying to change either of our minds, it won't work. We are together and hopefully will be for a while. Any questions?"
