It took a lot of sweet talking to get them both to agree to the party. After pointing out its financial benefits to Kyoya and using my puppy dog eyes on Haruhi, they both agreed. It was amazing! Everyone was delegated jobs, except Haruhi. Not that we didn't trust her, but she didn't really have an eye for this kind of thing. Hikaru and Kaoru were designing and creating Haruhi a dress. They assured everyone it would be beautiful. Takashi and I would handle food while Tamaki and Kyoya would do music and decorations. Guess which is doing which?

It only took a few weeks of hard work to get everything ready. They sure flew by. The twins confided that they pulled a few all nighters to assure the perfection of her gown. Now everything was in place. Haruhi had even mentioned a few weeks ago to the guests that she wouldn't be there tonight. Now nobody would suspect a think...we hope. She could dance the night away on Kyo-kuns arm. It would be like a fairytale. If anyone deserved a special kind of love it was Haruhi. All I wanted was for her and Kyoya to be guaranteed one peaceful night together. Who knew how many dates they would get after all?

It seemed perfect...too perfect. I thought for sure the idiot trio-sorry duo, Kaoru was no longer included- would have pulled something. Maybe their waiting for the night of to do anything, I sure hope not less they want a reminder of my dark side. They wouldn't dare do anything if they value their lives. I suspect they do to some extent.

When the night finally arrived everything looked great. The elegant decor, sweet music and lots of yummy food were all highlighted by romantic lighting. Kyoya had added the soft lighting last minute. It was a brilliant idea on his part. It would surely get more girls to come. He's clever; I'd give him that any day. This club would surely fail without him, falling apart very quickly. We needed him almost as much as Tamaki.

As the clock hit six fifty five, the six hosts attending as hosts lined the staircase in the ballroom. All dressed impeccably in sharp suits, nothing less was expected of us after all. Secretly I thought Tamakis white suit was ridiculous. I'd never say that aloud though, he was still our king. There was an angry edge to his smile tonight, the same sharpness that was in Hikarus eyes. They were too easy to read, showing their emotions right on their faces. Kyoyas calculating eyes had obviously picked up on it but he didn't comment. Instead he chose to look down at his watch. I smirked inwardly and Takashis mouth twitched. Somebody is a little impatient.

Everyone breath stopped when Haruhi entered ten minutes after all the princesses. The twins really had out done themselves this time. A strapless dress clung to then slight curve of her upper body before widening into a poufy skirt. The skirt itself appeared to have different layers to it as it fell to her ankles. Material was tied side ways around her stomach, separating the top from the bottom. A small flower was incorporated onto the sash like material .Best of all it was lavender, a certain dark haired host's colour. (I really hope that's right :/) A wig her hair colour had been put on her head, then curled to give it dimension. She just wore light makeup; it wasn't like she needed anything dramatic. She was stunning!

Kyoya appeared speechless before making his way over to her. Perhaps it was the determined look that graced his features that stopped Tamaki from yelling about abandoning the princesses. That or the fact that our king was still in his mind theater. I could only imagine what Kyoya would do if he could see the fantasy playing in the blondes head. It didn't appear that anyone else would be able to steal either Haruhi or Kyoya away from each other. It was sooo cute! They were adorable as they danced, lost in the other's eyes.

It was a while before anything note worthy happened. I'd been pulled away to finish something secret. I had been planning a grand finale to the evening, just some fireworks to add that extra spark. Fireworks weren't the only things sparking apparently. I'd had a bad feeling for a little while now and glanced down at my watch. It was ten o'clock now. At least they had three hours together, though that wasn't that long.

Then the yelling started. It sounded an awful lot like Tamaki. What had that idiot done now? Did it involve Haruhi or Kyoya? Why couldn't he just be happy for them? He'd missed his chance. Sighing I headed towards the source of the commotion. There was no way I was letting him ruin this. All along I had hoped for her to either end up with Kyoya or Takashi. Tamaki just didn't understand her or her background enough. They weren't compatible.

What I saw when I finally entered the ballroom made me freeze in place. What? Even Takashi looked openly shocked at the scene that had unfolded. I only caught the tail end but he'd obviously been there for the entire thing. Haruhi had tears in her deep chocolate eyes! She never cried! She was kneeling down beside a crouched figure. Absently I noticed a rip in her lovely dress. Who did that? The figure on the ground looked up and I saw dark eyes. Kyoyas glasses were scattered broken near Kaorus foot. The twin made no move to hand them back to his senpai on the floor. The younger twin was staring at Tamaki in horror. Our king, our leader was standing above the vice president with his hand raised! Obviously he'd hit the vice president but why was the question. A small trickle of blood hit the floor and I swore you could hear it splash.

What the hell happened?
