Filler chapter ladies and gentlemen! I'm sorry!

Chapter 17.

Lavi sat on the keg. Dirty white sheet covered over their prize, and slowly they rounded the corner to his Grandfather's house.

Which was his house—so to speak—considering that his Grandpa always traveled, and hardly ever stayed home.

But now he was home.

And what a day for his grandfather to pick to come home, right when they found a keg, and right when they wanted to party.

Lavi sighed heavily in disdain at his misfortune. There was nothing they could do about it now, and he knew full well that bitchin' and complainin' won't get him shit for dick anytime soon.

So instead of being a major chick and complaining about his misfortunes, he merely hopped out the back of Kanda's parked truck, and lands on the sidewalk by the corner of the street his house was on.

He was told beforehand, by Kanda, that he wasn't going to park right outside the Old-geezer's house.

Because Kanda knew that his Grandfather would know instantly that they were there, parked outside and wating for his Grandson.

And if the Old-bag knew that they were there, waiting for him, then the Old-fart would suspect something was most likely up, and would then assume that they were all up to they're no good, trouble-making, schemes.

As usual.

And something that is now sitting in the back of Kanda's truck, would only heighten the Old-geezers suspicions.

They had an odd package in the trunk—one that looked very suspicious—what with the white dirty sheet covered over top of it.

Which was their sad excuse of a hiding spot, for a giant keg of beer.

Lavi walked to the cab of Kanda's truck and smiled graciously at the long-haired—but irritated looking—teenager and waved inside. "Hey Yuu, I'm gonna pick up something real swift, so don't go anywhere and I'll be right back." Lavi announced with a smile. "Mmkaye pumpkin?" He asked, shooting Kanda a wink.

"Whatever." Came the guitar player's deadpanned reply. He rolled down his own window and stuck his left arm out.

Then he scowls in realization. "And don't start calling me that 'pumpkin' shit, Retard." he quickly quipped, sending the red-head a fast glare.

Which Lavi merely smiled at. "Does cupcake sound better?"

Wrinkling his nose in disgust, Kanda flicks him a middle finger. "Fuck off. Didn't you have to pick somethin' up?"

Rolling his eye in exasperation, Lavi walks to the back of Kanda's truck, not before stating over his shoulder a fast. "Harsh Yuu." With a smirk. Quickly plastering on a fake smile to the only occupant sitting in the back of the death mobile. "Hey Al!" He called happily.

Allen peeked his head over the truck's tailgate and raised his eyebrow. "What's up?"

The red-head thumbed behind his shoulder lazily. "I'm gonna pick up my Boom-Box, so make sure Yuu Ol'boy doesn't take off." The drummer suggested, smirking at the still peeking teenager in front of him. "I know he'll try to take off. He always does if he's kept waiting long enough." Lavi stated, shrugging casually.

Nodding his head with a salute to the red-head. Allen replies. "I'll make sure he doesn't go anywhere without you." In determination.

Lavi only grinned in delight at the reply and ruffled the adorable teen's hair, before he walked the rest of the way to his house; whistling a lonely tune and digging in his black jeans pocket for his sucker as he got the keys to his house ready in his hand.

Allen sighed tiredly and sat on the keg with a bored glaze in his eyes. Fixing his hair with his hands, he was soon startled out of his wits not 5 minutes after when Kanda's truck suddenly roared to life as he starts revving up the engine furiously.

Quickly Allen turned around, ready to tongue lash Kanda for scaring the bejesus out of him, and also for attempting to take off without their loud red-head.

But when Allen caught sight of Lavi running around the corner, instead of walking casually, and with a huge grin plastered across his face, with a giant stereo held in one hand, while he gesticulated wildly with the other, Allen knew that something was up.

"Go, go, go!" Lavi shouted—just as he passed by Lenalee's rolled down window—and quickly jumping in the back of the truck.

Allen didn't even have time to ask "What's wrong," when Kanda's truck took off in a cloud of exhaust, with his truck's tires squealing in protest behind them.

They took off in a neck breaking speed as Kanda zigzagged around many of the street's corners and riskily took the back alley's, in an attempt to lose whoever was trying to chase them.

"What's happening Lavi?!" Allen shouted in dismay as he held tightly onto the swaying and wobbling metal keg, all the while, sliding around himself in the back of the death vehicle.

Lavi only shook his head with a grin. "My Grandpa suspected something! So we gotta take off before he knows where I'm going!" He shouted over to Allen.

Who was currently hugging onto the keg for dear life, and trying hard not to fly out of the truck with the speed Kanda was at.

Including all of the bumps Kanda was—most likely—driving over on purpose.

Allen sighed heavily in discomfort as he slowly made his way inside his little glass house.

Once he walked through the door, he was greeted with the pleasantly-strong-scent of Cross's alcohol, and the smell of cigarette smoke.

He wrinkled his nose in disgust and quickly made his way over to the kitchen window to open and let some fresh air waft in through, and into, the house.

After he opened the window to the kitchen, and went over to the living room to open another one, to try and at least make his house smell less like a bar, and more like a normal home, he quickly made his way over to his Timcanpy.

Who was currently sleeping on a pillow in the middle of the living room floor.

He smiled lovingly at his kitten and patted his head twice, instantly the cat started to purr at the loving touch, but didn't bother waking up.

Allen smiled one last time, then kissed his Timcanpy on the head.

He turned around, to see Cross passed out with an empty wine bottle clenched tightly to his chest, and a butted out cigarette held in between two fingers with his other hand.

The white-haired teen had to roll his eyes in exasperation at the sight, he grabbed the wine bottle out of Cross's hands—very delicately as to not disturb the sleeping drunk—then placed the bottle on the floor beside the couch.

Walking to a small closet located just between the kitchen and the bedroom—inside a little corner—he then walked back to the couch, blanket in hand, and slowly the white-haired teenager eased the warm blanket over his sleeping foster father's passed out form on the couch, and walked to his room.

I don't know why I bother being nice to him. But it's the only time I can tolerate him...And it's when he's asleep... Allen sighed heavily under his breath at the sad thought of their lacking relationship and continued with his journey.

He picked out several different cassette tapes from his collection, ones that were his favorites, and stuffed them into a black knap-sack he had stashed underneath his bed—as a "just in case bag"—and went to his kitchen to get a bottle of Coke.

He walked back to the living room to pet his Tim one last time, before grabbing his house keys and his grey jacket from the coat rack, considering that the wind is turning cold, and silently he left his house without a word being said.

Allen looked to the back of Kanda's truck, to see that all of his friends were now sitting in back of the truck, and sneakily peeking underneath the thin white sheet covered over the keg in whispering and hushed tones.

He couldn't help but smile at the sight. But then frowns when Kanda and Lavi started furiously arguing about who-would-drink-who under the table.

"Look! He's back!" Lenalee cheered merrily.

Only to quickly cover her mouth with both her hands when Allen gesticulated wildly in the air for her to keep her voice down.

She drops her hands with a sheepish smile. "Oops." She whispered.

Allen only smiled with a roll of his eyes and hopped on the truck's tire, before hauling himself into the back of the truck. "So? Where are we going to have this party?" He asked merrily, shrugging on his grey coat and buttoning three buttons before sitting comfortably.

When all three teenager's turned their confused glances his way, he sighed heavily under his breath.

"Here?" Kanda pressed, crossing his arms over his chest with his eyebrow cocked in defiance.

Allen glared heatedly and folded his own arms at the challenge. "We can't have it here. Cross is passed out, and most likely he's going to sleep the entire day away." He quickly lifted his finger to silence the guitar player.

Who had opened his mouth to spit more arguments in his face.

"And you two." He points directly at the drummer and the guitarist sitting next to him. "Can't exactly be sneaky either." Allen stated with a frown.

Kanda scowled deeply. "You don't think I can, Eurofag?" He growled dangerously.

Allen only smirked at the tone. "As a matter of fact, no. I don't." He deadpanned. "Because you can't keep your mouth shut for two seconds when someone so much as says one negative thing about you!" He fumed, glaring at the guitar players scowling face.

"Face." Lavi deadpanned, holding out his hand to block out Kanda's angry expression.

"Fuck you!" Kanda roared, slapping the hand away with a snarl just as he was about to get up to throttle the ignorant lead singer.

"Whoa! Cool it guys!" Lenalee shouted as she got in between the two arguing boys with a frown directed mainly at Kanda. "I mean come on! We haven't even started planning the party, and you two are sitting here, arguing about who-can-out-bitch-who like a couple of girls on their periods!" Lenalee exclaimed, shoving both her band members away from each other with a growl.

Allen sat on the other side of the truck with a scowl pressed firm on his face.

As Kanda sat on the other end of his truck, with his glaring eyes directed on the neighborhood around him.

"Girls on their periods?" Lavi repeated, voice full of disgust. "Mega grody, no one wants to be compared to that." He mumbled.

Then flinched at the hard slap he received from Lenalee.

"Any one else have any plans?" Allen droned after a couple minutes of awkward silence.

"We can't have it at my place, it's a fucking apartment building." Kanda grumbled, already hating how the party plan was turning out.

It seemed like it will be forever before they got to drink the beer.

"We can't have it at my place either." Lenalee quipped. "My brother." She sighed in exasperation as she slapped a hand to her knee and cradled her hand in her chin.

No other explanation was needed to be said after that.

"Can't have it at my place. Gramps is finally home..." Lavi trailed off in disappointment.

Allen hummed under his breath. "Well our plan's on drinking tonight, seems to have ended without it even starting." He announced, taking a small sip of his Coke.

After having a refreshing shot, he looked to the logo, and instantly he remembered seeing the logo painted right across a particular building close by his neighborhood...

I seen this logo before...I walked by the building twice when I first showed up here. He wrinkled his brow in thought. Then quickly he hopped out of the truck, practically threw his coca-cola in Lavi's hands, and ran down the left hand side of the street that his house was on.

All three of the band members looked from the retreating figure of a running Allen, then back to each other in confusion.

"What's his damage?" Kanda asked, slapping a hand onto the keg casually as he watched the teen run off down the street with a bored glaze in his eyes.

Lenalee shook her head. "I don't know...Maybe he really wanted to drink this thing and he's disappointed?" She questioned, looking to the sheet covered keg with a small disheartening frown.

Lavi shook his head, a large grin plastered across his face. "He has an idea." He stated confidently.

And sure enough, when Allen made it all the way down the sidewalk, passed the houses and the neighborhood completely, there sat the abandoned roller disco place, still intact, and still abandoned.

He smiled in delight when he noticed the back doors to the roller disco building had an entry way for the customers cars to slide in and park inside, and grinned mischievously when he noticed that all the windows to the place were boarded up, clear indication that no one would be able to see them—or hear them—illegally drinking inside.

He smirked at the bright red Coca-Cola logo painted right across the side of the building. I knew I've seen it somewhere! He thought in triumph. He began running back, chest heaving, but bright enthusiastic smile still alight on his face.

It seemed as though several minutes have passed by without him noticing, but when he made it to his house once again, and to the back of Kanda's truck, he begins to heave and pant heavily, finally realizing that he's been running back and forth without even stopping to catch his breath.

Plopping himself down on the truck's metal bed and sighing heavily in relief at not having to run anymore, he smiles tiredly.

"I found...A place." The white-haired teenager wheezed, grinning from ear-to-ear as he tilted his head up to look at each of the questioning glances from his friends.

"I knew you had a plan!" Lavi crowed, leaning over and kneeling down beside Allen to give the teen a bone crushing embrace.

"Where?" Lenalee asked, grinning in excitement.

"The abandoned roller disco place, just down several blocks from here and passed the neighborhood." Allen explained thoroughly, after finally catching his breath. "It's vacant, no one ever goes there, and all the windows are boarded." He stated matter-of-factly with a nod of his white-head, he gets up from the truck's metal bed with a sigh of relief. "It's called 'Wheel-A-While', and if we hurry, no one will know we went there." He stated, sitting down beside the keg and slapping a hand onto the metal container with a smile.

"Well? What're we waiting for?" Lavi asked. "Let's go check it out!" The drummer cheered as he quickly sat down beside Allen to casually sling an arm across the younger teenager's shoulders. "Fast thinking babe, proud of you." He stated, giving the boy a teasing noogie.

Allen wiggled free and slapped the red-head in the arm with a laugh. "Don't thank me just yet." He stated with a grin.

Kanda huffed in annoyance and jumped out the back of the truck. "Both of you, get on both sides of the keg, and make sure it doesn't fucking fall off." He quickly demanded as he stomped over to the driver's door.

With a giggling Lenalee walking to the passenger's door. "I'm sure it'll be fine Kanda." She giggled.

Lavi merely rolled his eyes. "Lena-baby is right Yuu," He stated with a teasing grin. "Allen said it's just a couple blocks away from here. The keg ain't going anywhere Yuu, so don't wig out." Lavi teased, while still holding onto Allen's arm with both his arms wrapped around the teenager's smaller bicep.

"Do it." Kanda growled, turning his head to glare directly into Lavi's single green eye.

Lavi pursed his lip at the glare, but listened to those brisk demands with a single nod of his head.

But not without nudging Allen in the ribs playfully before getting up. "You're awesome Allen-baby." The red-head whispered, smirking down at the boy and shooting him a coy wink.

Allen knew by now what the difference was between a "wink" and a "blink" when it came to Lavi. So when he received the wink by the red-head, he blushed at the look and quickly glanced away in embarrassment.

"It's no problem..." The lead singer trailed off nervously. "I just remembered seeing the Coca-Cola logo somewhere nearby." he mumbled.

Why am I blushing? Lavi always says those kinds of things! Allen soon scolded himself for his behavior, but when he peeked over to Lavi, he saw that the red-head was still grinning right at him.

And he merely ducked his head with a brighter blush staining across his cheeks.

Quit smiling at me darn it! Allen hissed inside his head.

Kanda spun his steering wheel twice to the right, then slowly pressed his foot down on the break, and parked smoothly right inside the back of the "Wheel-A-While" roller-disco building like a pro.

Jumping out of his truck with ease, he looks up and around the building with disinterest.

The whole wall connecting to the back of the parking lot, to the roller-skating area, was completely torn down, so it revealed all of the dance floor and the benches on the other side.

The disco had an upper-level lounge room and a set of round stairs swirling all the way to the top, when Kanda looked to the dance floor, he saw that the floor was still intact and not a board was out of place. He looked to the D.J lounge, and saw that the glass was smashed on either side of the four glass walls surrounding it, but it looked as though the speakers were still inside, but whether it still had a record player, or cassette player inside, he would have to find out.

"We have a place for music." He mumbled, mostly to himself, as he walked around the rest of the building and looked at the tacky interior designs in disgust as he passed through and headed straight for the D.J Lounge.

Lenalee clapped her hands in excitement as soon as she hopped out of the truck. "This place is so stellar!" She exclaimed excitedly as she skipped to the middle of the dance floor. "And it's so huge! I love it!" She giggled happily as she spun around in a merry little circle in the middle of the dance floor.

Allen jumped out the back of the truck and stared directly up at the ceiling, noticing that it was concave and sunken in, either the pipes have broken and that is what caused the place to close, or the rain had made the place abandoned...

Or maybe it's because disco died a long time ago... Allen thought with a frown settling across his face as he then started to walk around the building. Admiring the large dance floor in silent appreciation.

Lavi huffed, and hauled the keg out of the truck. "U-uh, yeah..." He heaved. "Totally didn't need your help dudes, I got this." Stated Lavi in the most sardonic monotone he could muster as he slid the keg on the floor, before finally giving up with a loud curse.

"Fuck!" Lavi shouted tiredly, tossing the bench aside with a groan. "It seems like it'll be five-ever before we get to drink!" He bemoaned loudly inside the abandoned building. "Because forever, isn't enough..." He mumbled to himself.

Once he had placed the bench aside, the drummer huffed loudly and plopped himself down onto the bench and swiped his hands through his hair messily.

"All we're doing is cleaning up this place!" Allen joined in on the red-head's complaining. "I still don't see the point in all this! Not when it's just going to be us three, and a keg, to ourselves." He grumbled dryly.

The lead singer sat on the opposite side of the bench by the red-head and rested his head against his hand lazily.

Lenalee hopped in front of the lead singer's gaze and grinned mischievously as she waggled her finger in a scolding manner. "Ah ah ah!" She chatised teasingly. "Is that bitching I hear? Coming from our lead singer himself?" Lenalee stated happily, cupping a hand to her ear with a smile.

Allen stuck his tongue out immaturely and shooed the girl away with his hand. "Well it's true, isn't it? I mean, just us three, we shouldn't make a big deal about it and clean this entire place from top to bottom right?" Allen asked, gesturing around the entire space before him as he looked furiously around the group for help.

Lavi looked away from the white-haired singer in slight displeasure evident in his facial expression as he got up from the bench and swiftly walked his way to the D.J Lounge in silence.

Allen looked at the retreating figure of the red-head and pursed his lip in thought. They had cleaned up the dance floor, repaired the speakers inside the D.J Lounge, and had successfully moved six giant benches and pushed them all the way to the side of the walls, by themselves.

And they still had the entire upstairs lounge to clean as well.

But what was the point?

They only came here to drink the keg, for one measly night, then they were all going their separate ways once the beer is gone and head home. So there was absolutely no need to be making a big fuss over something so—

And that's when it hit Allen.

Like a light-bulb going off inside his head, or like a flick of a light switch. He finally put two-and-two-together and figured out the reason why they were cleaning up the entire abandoned building, it wasn't just for themselves, but for others as well.

Allen got up and pointed to the nearest person his eyes landed on.

Which happened to be a disgruntled looking guitar player still sitting down on the bench and looking as though he couldn't care-less that he was being pointed at by the lead singer.

"You!" Allen began. Stomping his way over to Kanda. "When you went to go pick up something at your place, you took longer than necessary. Why?" Allen questioned. Skepticism clear in his tone and facial expression.

Kanda glared at the white-haired brat, who was still pointing at him. "What the fuck? Why should I explain myself to you, brat?" He stated dangerously.

Allen crossed his arms firmly over his chest. "Because your acts are suspicious! Why are we cleaning this entire thing, if it's just going to be just us three in here? Is it because you blabbed your big mouth off, and said there's a party happening here?"

Kanda swiftly got up from the bench and stomped over to Allen. "I didn't say shit short-stack!" He angrily defended himself. "Ask Cyclops dumb ass! He's the one that took off when we first started cleaning up this shit-can!" He shouted, shoving the white-haired teenager out of his way with an angry huff. "Doubt me? You fuck." He spat over his shoulder.

Allen rubbed his shoulder gingerly, but looked to the D.J Lounge, where he saw Lavi lounging on a stool, legs kicked up on the counter top in front of him, with his hands pulled behind his head.

Allen pursed his lip in thought. Lavi did go somewhere, and he was the one that practically begged us to help him clean up this place...And he seemed to have disappeared right before our eyes without us even noticing when we all started cleaning...Well...Kanda noticed that he took off, before Lenalee and myself had...But several minutes did pass by before Lavi finally returned.

So then Kanda was right.

And unfortunately, he was right again for God only knew how many times already.

I'll apologize him later...Allen thought, looking at the pissed guitar player, who was furiously sweeping the floors in a messy half-assed manner while mumbling curse words, at him, probably.

He shook his white-head about and stalked over to the D.J Lounge. I'm sorry Kanda. He thought, and he meant those words in complete honesty.

"Lavi!" Allen called loudly, his melodic voice bouncing off what little walls were left inside the building.

Lavi quickly looked up, and smiled happily at the teen. "Yo!" He replied back with a grin, getting himself more comfortable on the stool underneath him as he straightened his bandanna atop his messy red-head.

Allen swiftly strode his way to the D.J Lounge and leaned over the counter top in front of the red-head and propped his arms up on the D.J table in front of him to stare intensely into the drummer's single green-eye in suspicion.

"Why did you take off all of a sudden?" he asked calmly.

"When?" Asked Lavi curiously.

Allen rolled his eyes. "Please don't play innocent with me Lav, I can see right through your act. Just tell me where you went." He replied calmly as he folded a stray white bang behind his ear.

Lavi worried his lip between his teeth, before pulling it out and nervously swiping his tongue across. "Promise not to get mad?" he asked sheepishly.

Allen narrowed his eyes. "Tell me." He pressed.

"You gotta promise not to get mad..." Lavi replied nervously.

Allen sighed heavily, but nodded his head all the same. "Fine. I promise."

Lavi wiggled uncomfortably at the sudden glare coming from the white-haired singer and sighed heavily under his breath and surrendered. "Look Al, I wanted a party, whether you like that or not is tough." Lavi started, rubbing his chin. "I took off to tell some close friends that we're having a party here, to B.Y.O.B and shit, and—"

"—You invited people here?" Allen repeated, more loudly.

His voice continued to echo off the walls in desperation.

Both Kanda and Lenalee were now interested in the rest of the conversation and turned their attention to the D.J Booth.

"Why would you do that? Can you imagine how many people will tell other people about this place? They'll tear down this entire building to the ground! And guess who's fault it'll be?!"

"Chill out man." Lavi stated calmly, waving his hands.

"It'll be my fault Lavi! Because I told you about this place!" Allen continued heatedly.

"Take a chill pill Al!" Lavi tried again, smiling nervously despite feeling just a little bit scared of the arguing British teenager. "Everything will be good Al, I promise you that." He grinned.

Allen felt his eyebrow twitch in irritation. "I don't fully believe that statement." he stated seriously.

Lavi shrugged a shoulder. "Believe me or not, but I promise you, this party won't get out of hand." He said with a smile. "Like I said, I just told a couple of close friends. Nothing bad will happen." He stated calmly.

"I highly doubt that." Allen pressed.

"Quit being so negative Brit-boy!" Lavi smiled. "Everything will turn out fiiiine." He purred as he grabbed hold of the shorter teenager's shoulders in both his hands with a grin. "Believe me, and if anything does happen, that might be a bit too gnarly for your tastes—"

"—Pfft! What taste?" Kanda mocked.

"Shut it!" Allen shouted over his shoulder, before looking back to Lavi.

"I got an exit strategy." Lavi stated in complete confidence.

Allen pursed his lip at those honest sounding words, that weren't muddled with dishonesty or nervousness but it was as though Lavi truly believed in his own words, and Allen knew he needed to make the right decision now, to help gain everyone's trust.

If he said no to Lavi, that would mean that he doesn't trust him in the least.

And he needed the bands trust right now. And that first starts with having Lavi's trust first.

So Allen caved, and that will either help him, or make this whole party situation all the worse. But whether it does or not, he'll have to find out.

And that'll be the hard part.

"Fine." Allen surrendered reluctantly. "Fine, I'll take your word for that. I'll trust you." Allen said, slapping his hand onto Lavi's hand that is holding his shoulder. "For now." He quickly quipped in.

Lavi only smirked happily at the reply. "Thanks Brit."

"Booooooring." Droned Lenalee behind them.

Successfully grabbing both of the boy's surprised attentions.

"I was expecting a fist fight!" She hollered with a disappointed frown. "But I'm glad you guys worked it out." She smiled sweetly at this.

Kanda huffed and leaned on the broom he held to his side. "So? Is this turning out to be a party?" He asked, looking to the drummer with his eyebrow cocked.

Lavi nodded his head happily and grinned in delight. "You bet ya nut!" He exclaimed in excitement.

"And you're trusting this Retard's words?" Kanda asked, gesturing to the grinning Cyclops behind the D.J table.

Allen nodded his head. "Yep."

"You're funeral brat." Kanda mumbled as he started sweeping the floors once again.

Allen sadly sighed at Kanda's statement. "I know..." He groaned, hanging his head on Lenalee's shoulder beside him. "Will you guys help me dig my grave?" He asked sheepishly.

"No." Kanda deadpanned, back turned.

"Not a chaaance!" Lenalee sang as she patted the white-head on her shoulder.

"Sure!" Lavi cheered.

"I'm trusting your word Lavi. Your exit strategy better work." Allen commanded sternly as he pointed an accusing finger at the grinning red-head in front of him.

"Like I said. It'll be fine." Said Lavi with a lazy smirk and a two finger salute.

I went through most of the mistakes, and eegads man! I made a lot of mistakes :L so glad I went through this again!

Sorry for the filler chapter, I know most of you were excited for the actual party chapter, but that's in the next chapter bro, so don't worry! This was mostly told in Lavi's POV, the next one will be more of Kanda's POV, we'll get to see things in his perspective. Which is quite interesting if I do say so myself. Hopefully you'll like the 18th chapter more than this one, but please give me a few reviews of your opinion of things, of if you even have a question, I'll PM you guys!

Tah!
