Chapter 19.

He just hit a garbage can.

A fucking out-of-no-where garbage can, that was intentionally pulled into the middle of the fucking road that they had just zoomed across.

"Was that a fucking garbage can?" Lavi shouted from the back of Kanda's driver's seat, beer held tightly in his hand as he continuously sipped from his beverage.

"It was..." Allen replied, unsure as he looked back at the garbage disposal from the window behind his head. "What the blast was it doing there you wonder...?" He stated in confusion.

"Who the fuck cares!" Kanda shouted, still driving like a mad-man behind his steering wheel.

That is currently being clenched tightly inside both his calloused hands as he hurriedly steered and turned sharply into intersections in the street.

Still trying to shake off the cops coming up from behind them.

"Why are we running from the cops? Doesn't that do more trouble, than good?" Allen piped up from behind Lenalee's passenger seat.

Kanda tore his steering wheel into a fast right hand turn into a random alley way and didn't bother putting his foot over the break when he saw a stray dog run across the street. He knew that a dog stupid enough to run by a truck that was going 120/km, deserved to get hit by it.

Luckily the dog was smart and ran like hell in the other direction.

"If the cops are chasing you around the city at 100/km, after having a party in an abandoned roller-disco building with under aged kids surrounding you, and with illegal contents inside your pockets, would you stop and ask how their day is going?" Lavi asked, still sipping from his beer.

"Uhh...No...?" Allen trailed off.

Lavi grinned. "Exactly. We're running from the cops so we don't go to jail, simple as that." He stated with a casual shrug of his shoulder.

"Fuck!" Kanda swore loudly as he steered his truck into a different direction. "How far away are they?" Kanda roared over his shoulder as he looked back into the rear-view mirror.

Lenalee turned around inside her seat and looked out the back window. "They're coming towards us, and fast!" She shouted in fear.

"C'mon Yuu! Deke these koozebanes out!" Lavi encouraged with a grin.

"I'm trying! Fuck!" Kanda shouted, glaring out of his rear-view mirror, then looking back to the road in determination. "I got an idea." He stated, mostly to himself as he stomped down on his break without second thought.

Causing everyone to fly forward and into each other's seats with a hard slam, and making Lenalee and the driver himself, slam into the dash board.

Kanda then smirked in satisfaction—after peeling himself off of his steering wheel—when the cops behind them, chose that exact moment to break fast as well from behind them, and without hesitation on Kanda's part, the guitar player stomped back down and hard onto his accelerator.

Off they sped in a cloud of exhaust and with the scent of burnt rubber clinging in the air as they flew forward into another alley way in front of them, they then went down and through another intersection, breaking many driving laws along the way, and through a second alley way, and as they drove through it, Kanda took a sharp left hand turn, then off into a different street all together.

"Where are they now?" Kanda shouted, still pressing hard on his gas pedal.

Allen peeled himself off the back of Lenalee's seat, and turned around to look out the window.

The cops weren't behind them any more, in fact, Allen couldn't see them around anywhere on the streets behind them.

And he knew the coast was clear after that.

"I think you lost them." Allen noted, impressed.

Kanda nodded and sighed heavily in relief. "Good...Fuck man..." Kanda groaned, rubbing his arms with one hand.

Lenalee gave her own sigh of relief and leaned more comfortably in her seat.

While Lavi laughed tiredly. "Man Yuu, that was some bitchin' driving." He commented, relieved.

The rest of the drive to Lavi's house was silent, save for the few occasional comments and chatter among Lavi and Lenalee.

While Allen yawned tiredly behind the passenger seat and leaned against the window beside him in exhaustion. "Where are we heading anyways? It's five in the morning, and I'm pretty sure no one is awake at this un-Godly hour." The lead singer stated tiredly.

Lavi shrugged. "Guess we're going back to my place. No where else to go. Besides I have an extra room and beds for you guys, if you wanna sleep there for the night Al?" Lavi suggested.

Allen nodded in affirmation. "I think I would like that...I'm so freakin' tired." He sighed, rubbing his eye with a hand.

Kanda huffed in annoyance and leaned heavily into his seat, one hand on the steering wheel. "I call your bed Cyclops." He yawned.

"Why my bed?" The drummer whined.

"Because I called it. I didn't hear you call dibs Cyclops."

"Because it's my bed! I shouldn't have to call dibs if it's my house and my bed!"

"Sleep on the couch!"

"Guys! Enough arguing!" Lenalee shouted, turning around in her seat to glare at each of the boy's.

And successfully shutting up all them in the process.

She huffed and blew a stray strand of hair away from her gaze as she began fixing her pony-tail more securely behind her head. "If you guys hadn't noticed, which I'm pretty sure you didn't." She pointed to Lavi at this. "But we just got away with partying!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air in excitement after fixing her hair. "We deked out the cops, and we did it all by ourselves!" She stated happily.

Lavi raised his hand at the statement. "Uhm, point being Lenababy?" He asked in an acerbic tone.

"Yeah, are you saying we're criminals?" Allen commented with a pout.

The bass player rolled her eyes with passion. "Point being, dweebs." She deadpanned. "Team work." She replied, face serious. "We did everything as a group. Something only a true band would do." She announced with a grin.

Making the inside of the truck silent once again.

"Wait...Hell yeah we did." Lavi replied, hand to his chin at the thought. "Well fuckin' A man! We just did something completely stellar!" The drummer whooped, banging his hands against Kanda's seat in excitement.

"I just noticed something..." Allen stated from the back.

Making everyone turn their questioning gazes towards him.

"Lenalee is exactly right." Allen started with a smile. "If we continue doing everything, decision making, band arrangements, the whole sheebang! Then we can actually be a viewed in the eyes of many as a professional band! Not some raggedy band of teen's pretending to be something!" He stated eagerly.

"Raggedy?" Lenalee piped up, raising a slender eyebrow at the statement. "Pretending to be something...?" She repeated, folding her arms in offence.

"Well, not you of course Lenalee." Allen stated with an innocent smile.

"Poser." Kanda discreetly coughed.

Allen frowned. Before continuing on in his statement. "I'm just using the term 'raggedy' as in 'a mixed group of teenagers', and when I said 'pretending to be something' I only meant that we aren't actually a band...Yet." And he had to stress the word, when he received many malicious glares coming from each of his band mates.

The lead singer cleared his throat uncomfortably before continuing his speech. "Well, we're aren't a band yet, because we keep arguing about every little thing, then that just makes us teenager's wanting attention." He explained, voice serious. "If we continue to do everything as a band though, and as friends, then I'm pretty darn sure we can accomplish greater things for this band! Imagine, touring, fans—"

"—groupies, bimbettes, all the booze that we can possibly drink too!" Lavi announced eagerly. "My mouth is practically watering with all the possibilities." He stated with a long dreamy sigh.

"How 'bout you just keep drinking your beer, hm Red?" Lenalee piped up, smirking lazily at Lavi.

Who only stuck his tongue out at her as a retort.

Allen nodded. "Exactly!" He exclaimed, snapping his fingers. "Except...Cancel out the groupies and the booze part." He noted, rolling his eyes at Lavi's fantasies. "But anyways, if we actually try harder to not get on each other's nerves and actually try and talk it out like adults, instead of blowing up like barrel, then we can be seen as professionals to those around us!" Allen stated in determination.

Lavi sipped from his can of beer and held up his hand. "So..." He sipped. "If I stop calling you 'babe', and actually call you 'Allen', and instead of me saying 'Yuu', I start calling him 'Kanda', then that's what it take for us to become a famous band?" Lavi replied, wrinkling his brow in confusion. "Well that's lame." He pouted.

"Not just those things!" Allen said, waving his hand dismissively. "But you could actually try and not get on Kanda's nerves every second." Allen replied, face serious. "Don't you guys have anything better to do, instead of arguing with each other every second?" Allen asked, looking between the two teenager's in question.

Kanda snorted from behind his steering wheel. "Yeah, after band practice, me and Cyclops have a good long talk about our feelings, then at night we have slumber parties and braid each other's hair." Kanda replied in his most sarcastic tone he could make.

Making Lenalee giggle from behind her hand.

And Allen purse his lip in displeasure. "That's not what I meant, but if you guys want to do those kinds of things, than go right ahead." Allen suggested, grinning at Kanda happily.

"Bag your face Eurotrash." Kanda hissed, tossing a glare behind his shoulder before looking back to the road.

"See what I mean?" Allen suggested, gesturing towards Kanda's scowling face. "We actually could be civil towards each other, and only once in a while, to certain extents..." he trailed off, not sounding too sure of that statement.

He waved his hand, dismissing that last part. "Whatever, we just have to remember not to say anything so...Sarcastic?" Allen noted aloud, unsure if that was the word he was looking for.

"You mean...say something completely unnecessary?" Lavi remarked, eyebrow raised in question.

When Allen nods, the red-head merely smiles. "But you see, look here Brit." Lavi started, clearing his throat for emphasis as he pointed towards the white-haired teeanger.

Who looked towards him with a curious glint in his eyes.

"We are teenager's," He stated the obvious. "And we have the humor of any average teenager." Lavi started. "If we don't say something even remotely sarcastic, or say a smart ass remark every now and then, then I'm pretty sure we would go crazy with all the pent up energy and thoughts." He said with a shrug of his shoulder. "It's a new form of a stress reliever for us teenager's, something every teenager must go through to get through life."

"Here comes one of Lavi's inspirational speeches." Lenalee whispered over to Kanda.

Who only snorted aloud. "Wake me when it's over." He muttered.

Lavi merely smirked at both his friends, before he continued his speech. "So the point is, and what I'm actually getting at...Let's live like any teenager, and not give a rats ass about the things that other people have to say about us." The drummer stated with a smile.

Allen had to tilt his head to the side at that statement. "What do you mean?" He asked, skeptical.

"Well, since it's only us around 24/7." The drummer said, gesturing to each member of the band. "We can joke, we can laugh, and we always fight, it's no biggy. It's what were used to in our lives. And we get over it the next day anyways. So why not have a laugh about it in the mean time and not give a shit about what other people think about us?" Lavi suggested, quirking an eyebrow at Allen.

Who only wrinkled his brow in thought. "But...That's completely contradicting everything I just said we shouldn't do." Allen stated in confusion.

Lavi nodded. "I know. And I'm sorry about that, it's just...This new rule about us not getting on each other's nerves, and not making smart ass comments about one another...It's just..." he tried searching for a better word in his inner vocabulary dictionary.

But none came to mind.

"It's totally lame." Lenalee stated with a sheepish smile.

Lavi then points to Lenalee with a large grin. "Exactly! Take Lenalee for example," He exclaimed, gesturing to the bass player with a smirk. "She likes breaking up our fights, as long as she gets to hit someone in the end, she's fine with it." He stated, thumbing in Lenalee's general direction.

The teenage girl merely nodded her head in affirmation with an enthusiastic grin. "It's more fun that way." She stated with a innocent head tilt.

"And take me for example," Lavi stated, thumbing his chest with a grin. "I like getting on Yuu's nerves, it's not only fun, but it's usually because I'm right about certain things, and that's my way of proving my point." Lavi explained with a smile.

"So that's why you're annoying and frustrating as hell?" Kanda deadpanned, shaking his head. "I don't believe that. You're just a fucker." He growled, glaring at Lavi from his rear-view mirror.

Lavi merely grinned in reply. "And Yuu for example, just likes to argue and get mad at us. Nothing wrong about those things at all. It's in our nature." Lavi said, grinning like a fool. "So if we have these new rules pitted against our own natures, on our personalities, isn't that like cutting off our man-hood and telling us not to breathe? We just ain't living anymore." The drummer explained.

Looking to each of his friends, who were oddly silent after those words have been said.

"So let us live Brit-boy." Lavi finished with a smile. "We like to argue, it's really not that big of a deal if you think about it hard enough. Is it a big deal you guys?" Lavi suggested, looking to each member of the band for help.

Lenalee shook her head. "It's not that big of a deal." she agreed.

"I don't give a shit." Kanda grumbled.

"But I don't think—" Allen tried.

But was cut off by Lavi who eagerly announced. "See?" He threw up his hands. "Let's not have that new rule, at least let us have some fun during band practice dude. And when we actually have a gig, and if we're in front of other professionals then hell yeah, I'm down for that new rule." He affirmed with a nod of his red-head. "Just not when it's just us four together." Lavi stated, looking to everyone inside the truck curiously. "You all get what I'm saying...Right?" He asked dumbly.

A nod from Lenalee.

And Kanda gave a grunt.

And Lavi merely smiled at that. "There. See what we just did there Brit?" Lavi asked, pulling the white-haired teenager under his arm with a grin. "We all just agreed to do something together, and as a band." He stated, poking Allen in his chest with a grin. "That's step one accomplished, isn't it?" He smirked proudly.

And Allen couldn't believe his ears, Lavi just took five whole minutes out of each of their lives, to totally contradict the new rules he was trying to put up.

But at the same time, Lavi got the whole group to agree to something—that Allen didn't quite agree to—but then again, Lavi did make a good point, and how can he argue with the logic in Lavi's speech?

They all get to act themselves in the end, and keep a part of themselves intact, while still sticking to the rule when professionals and gig's are around.

And the red-head was right again, they had just accomplished and agreed to something together, and as a whole band.

It was completely astounding, inspiring, and very surprising all in all.

Lavi just gave a speech, and made the whole band agree to it like nothing.

It really was inspiring.

And Allen couldn't help but smile softly at the thought. "You guys are amazing." Allen commented, grinning from ear-to-ear. "Good work guys, I think we just figured out band dynamics. And we can totally show Bak and prove him wrong!" He announced with a bright smile.

Making everyone in the truck smile and nod their heads in agreement.

Kanda smirked behind his steering wheel. "We can show that chink that he was wrong. That's all I heard. I'm in."

"Okay, so you lost your shoes." Lavi said, shrugging his shoulder at Allen's pouting expression. "At least you have on another pair." He commented, smiling down at Allen's choice of shoes.

Allen looked down to the roller-skates wrapped around his feet with a scowl. "I can't walk in them, remember? I keep having to glide to get somewhere."

"At least you're not shoe-less." Lenalee stated, smirking down at Allen's roller-skates.

Kanda coughed as he looked down at the lead singer's feet. "You look more like a fag." He coughed, then started doubling-over in a coughing fit as he held his stomach with both his hands.

Allen blushed feverishly and quickly turned around to face Lavi's front door with a scowl. "Whatever! Let's just get inside and sleep!"

"Okay okay! Just don't yell Brit-boy, my Gramps is probably still sleeping." Lavi stated in a hushed whisper as he tip-toed to his front door. "He doesn't wake for the dead, but that doesn't mean we still can't be quiet." He whispered, unlocking his door with his key as he slowly opened the door.

Only to be hauled inside by some unknown character with a terrified sounding scream flying from his lips.

Leaving the three band members standing outside the door with incredulity to their expressions.

"Should we go in?" Lenalee piped up, still whispering.

"He's just fucking around." Kanda deadpanned, stomping towards the door. "Let's just go in." He replied, opening the door and walking inside like he owned the place.

Leaving Allen and Lenalee to cower behind him in fear.

Just as the three step through the doorway, the front door behind them was then slammed shut with vigor, causing all three teenager's to flinch at the loud noise that echoed loudly inside the deathly silent room.

"Well, well..." Came a deep gruff voice from within the darkness of the room.

A voice that made Allen's spine stiffen in recognition.

Stepping out from behind the teenager's surrounding the doorway of the Bookman residence, he pushed away Allen, who was in his way, and leaned heavily on his side against the living room wall, an un-lit cigarette hanging from his scowling lips as he glared heatedly at his idiotic white-haired son.

Cross Marian at that moment, was pissed. "If it isn't my bastard of a child and his...Companions..." The tall red-haired man noted, unsure of the teenager's names and faces that were inside the room.

But he glared at each one of them anyways, due to his current emotion running through him at that moment.

Which was rage, and more anger.

Cross gave a gruff scoff as he easily recognized the red-head among the three teen's.

The red-head who was now cowering behind a tall Japanese male with long black hair, and wearing a spiteful expression on his face.

"And if it isn't my bastard's boyfriend." Cross stated, offence and anger lacing through his hard and icy tone.

Lavi popped out from behind Kanda's shoulder with a curious look. "What? Me being Allen's boyfriend? Or Yuu?" Lavi asked, pointing to Kanda's appalled facial expression.

"What!?" Allen yelled, shocked.

And a little along the lines of disgusted for Lavi mistaking Kanda being his boyfriend.

When in reality, both of them weren't even considered his boyfriends.

Cross tilted his red-head to the side. "You got two boyfriends now huh?" Cross stated. "Puh, didn't think you would be able to juggle even one." He noted, a huff of a chuckle slipping past his unsmiling lips.

"He is not my boyfriend!" Allen yelled, pointing to Kanda's offended expression. "Nor is Lavi my boyfriend!" Allen shouted, just to make sure that they all got the point.

"Aww..." Lavi complained quietly.

Getting a death glare from both Allen and Cross in the process.

And Kanda looked like he really didn't want to be there at all, by how hard he was glaring at his own two feet.

Lenalee giggled nervously from the corner of the dark room and slowly backed away towards the door. "Well, I should be heading home now, my brother must be looking for me, and I really should just—"

"—Oh my darling Lenaleeeeee!"

Lenalee jumped with a frightful yelp as she tried hiding behind Allen—as soon as she heard the squealing, high-pitched voice coming from the top of the stairs.

But she couldn't even get a chance to hide behind Allen when she was suddenly dragged away by the hand as soon as Komui's feet hit the floor boards as soon as he was done bustling down the stairs in a fit of tears and snot.

His arms out-stretched in desperation and relief.

Komui hugged his dear little sister hard into his chest, continuously stroking her soft long hair vigorously. "I can't believe you would leave me like that for so loooong! Without a phone call or anything!" He wailed. "Have you any idea how worried I was? I sent the police to search for you and everything! I couldn't sleep at all! And!—"

He was soon cut off from his over-exaggerated and motherly speech when Lenalee unpredictably elbowed him in the stomach.

Which caused him to keel over and fall to the floor in a grunt of pain and streaming tears.

"Why would you strike me Lenaleeeee? I was worriiieeed!" Komui continued to cry as more tears streamed down his flushed face.

Lenalee gave an offended sounding scoff as she leaned onto the wall in front of her brother's curled up form on the floor. "I just went out with my friend's Komui. And did you say you sent the police to look for me? Again?" She raged, throwing her hands up in the air. "Why? I'm seventeen now brother! I'm not a child anymore!"

"But that does not give you the right to break into an abandoned building and illegally drink inside." Came a rough and old sounding voice from the top of the stairs.

And Lavi hid further behind Kanda.

Who never said a word during the whole family get-together in the middle of the Bookman residence.

He only continued to stand with his arms folded over his chest and a glare sent down to his feet.

Bookman, also known as "Gramps" by Lavi, stood at the height of 4"2, gray hair pulled into an odd looking pony-tail in the center of his bald head, with his arms crossed firmly over his stomach and standing intimidatingly at the top of the stairs in front of all to see.

And glaring heatedly at his cowardly Grandson. "Lavi..." He called the boy's name in a deadpanned, emotionless tone.

Lavi stiffened at the sound of his name, but timidly he removed himself from behind Kanda's tall form to stand with his head bowed towards his guardian with a nervous smile. 'Yes, Grandfather?" He replied in a respective, but completely nervous, sounding tone.

A trace of fear lacing through his voice as well.

Bookman 'tsked' the boy under his breath and slapped an aged old hand onto the railing beside him as a loud bang came from his cane, a cane which he had struck to the floor boards in front of his feet. "Look at me, boy." Bookman commanded sternly.

Lavi peeled his eye from the floor and looked up at his grandfather with shame seen in his green half-lidded eye.

"Explain to me exactly what happened." Bookman demanded.

Lavi sheepishly smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. "Uhm, the full honest to goodness story? Or the cheap leave-a-few-blanks-out kind of story?"

"Lavi!" His grandfather raised his voice, impatient.

As always...Lavi held back his eye roll with a twitch of a smile.

"Well, me and the gang decided to ditch class," He stated casually.

"Lavi!" Allen hissed, cutting off Lavi in his explanation. "You don't have to—OW!" Allen wailed, holding his head in both his hands once Cross had landed a good blow to his head by his knuckles.

"Keep talking boy, and it'll be the last thing you get to say to your boyfriend." Cross threatened.

Easily shutting Allen up with the threat.

But not without mumbling "He's not my boyfriend." in a faint whisper.

Lavi continued with his casual facade. "Anyways, we found this keg in the middle of the road, we stole it, we drank it in a place not too far away from Allen's house, in an abandoned roller-disco place called "Wheel-A-While", then the party got too outta hand, but just as we were about to shut it down and call it a night, the cops showed up, so we decided to ditch that place, but then we got chased by the cops for a couple of blocks, but Kanda managed to deke them out, and now we're here." Lavi explained thoroughly, with a few occasional smiles in between his explanation of their endeavors.

While Kanda, still stood with his eyes glaring heatedly at the floor in concentration.

Bookman's stern facial expression twitched in anger.

Before he jumped down from the very top of the stairs, to land directly on top of Lavi's shoulders with both his feet, effortlessly.

And that's where he stood with an expression of anger. "How dare you shame our family's name like this!" He raged, still standing on top of Lavi's crumpling shoulders. "Do you have any idea what could've happened if the cops hadn't showed up? Someone could've gotten hurt! Could've been shot, or worse, you all would've been taken away from the cops and taken away from your guardians!" he snapped.

Successfully silencing the entire room.

"Can you imagine how long it would take for Komui, Cross, and myself to get all three of you back?" He snarled, looking to each of the shameful looking teenager's inside his house. "God only knows how long that would've taken! And by then, you guys would've been in jail and serving full time for trespassing, drinking under the legal age, and resisting arrest!"

"How is getting someone shot, worse, than getting thrown in jail...?" Lavi asked from his bowing position.

"Shut up Lavi..." Groaned Lenalee and Allen in unison.

"Look, Old-man." Lavi sighed, rubbing his sore neck. "We got out of there safe, no bruises, no scratches, Kanda has amazing driving skills and we're here now breathing. Isn't that a good thing? We aren't dead nor are we dying. We were just being stupid teenager's, give us a break. I'm sure all three of you dudes did more bad shit than what we pulled tonight." Lavi stated, smiling nervously at Komui and Cross in front of him.

Before shamefully pulling his gaze back to the floor below him when all he got was a glare from Cross.

Komui cleared his throat from his laying position on the floor and finally picked himself up and dusted off his pants. "That's true." he said simply, with a nod of his beret wearing head.

"Komui." Cross deadpanned, his warning glare sent directly to Komui's stern expression.

Komui put up his hand to silence Cross. "I'm saying, it's true, we did more bad things than you could ever imagine." Komui informed the teenager's who looked towards him in surprise. "But that doesn't mean that you should all act how we had acted in the past. You guys are much better than that." Komui stated, walking towards Lenalee to pat her on her slender shoulder with a kind smile.

Before turning his attention back to the three boy's in the room. "I'm glad you all came back in one piece, but because you took my darling Lenalee away from me for the entire night, we all decided on a good punishment for all of you." Komui stated, sinister grin reaching from ear-to-ear as he rubbed his hands together in anticipation.

A cruel chuckle slipping past Cross's smirking lips at the same time. "And for ditching class..." He informed.

Allen shivered, Lavi groaned, Lenalee sighed heavily in annoyance.

And Kanda finally peeled his eyes from the floor as he spun fast on his heel and bolted it out of the door.

"Fuck this!" The guitar player shouted for all to hear as he ran to his truck and hopped into the driver's seat without hesitation.

Leaving the three band member's behind in a cloud of dust.

"What the hell?" Lavi raged, finally snapping his back up straight as he watched the truck fly down the road, without him, by his opened door. "Wait for me Yuuuu!" He called loudly, trying to run out the door.

Only for him to get karate chopped in the neck by his grandfather, and rendered practically lifeless on the floor, now unconscious.

Allen yelped in fear as he felt Cross's strong hand slap onto his shoulder.

And Lenalee began pushing her brother away at arms-length when he began ranting relentlessly about "how she should stay with him forever" and among other embarrassing lines.

"This is going to be hell..." Allen mumbled quietly from underneath Cross's cruel smiling expression.

"What the hell are you wearing on your feet?" Cross deadpanned, staring sardonically at Allen's choice of shoes.

Which weren't shoes to begin with, but bright red roller-skates with white stars decorated on the sides.

Allen smiled sheepishly and scratched his cheek. "Uhm...Lavi left my shoes..." He mumbled.

Cross smirked at the shoes. "You. Walk home."

"Whaaat?" Allen bemoaned loudly.

"You're walking home." Cross deadpanned. "I'm not going to be seen with a kid wearing roller-skates in this day and age." Cross commanded sternly, finally lighting his cigarette and blowing the toxic fumes into Allen's scowling face. "And if you're not home within 15 minutes, I'm grounding you for an extra month."

"What?!" Allen repeated, aghast.

"You better hurry Allen..." Lenalee piped up nervously from inside Komui's arms. "It takes about 20 minutes to get to your place from Lavi's, and that's when you're walking." She stated, sympathetically. She was still trying to break free from one of Komui's bone crushing embraces.

"Darn it!" Allen shouted in frustration as he whirled around and tried roller-skating out of the house.

Only to catch the toe of his skate on Lavi's foot and fall face first on the floor.

Okay, so I don't know the exact height of Bookman, sue me. I took a guess.

And I could've dragged on and on with this chapter so I cut it short. I love it when adults get mad at teenager's, it's a funny thing to witness. Mind you, I got a lot of shit when I was a kid too, so I know how it feels. But put on the spot in front of your friends? Yeah, that shit sucks. But you learn the hard way, do you not?

Anyways, enough babbling.

-Hella-

p.s: Hee hee...Kanda took off...Something I would've done too.

Sorry if you see a few mistakes, corrected most of them.
