Hello, peeps. This is an F story rewrite. I'm rewriting my story, Caspian Daughter of Poseidon because I think I can write it better a second time. Please review any thoughts, comments, or questions, I love getting reviews.

Chapter 1~

It had started three days before, when Chiron had received a message from a frantic satyr in New York City, who was certain that he had found two demigods, and that one of them was a child of one of the big three, and had requested backup. Finding another big three half-blood was not how Percy wanted to spend his weekend, but nobody really asked him.

And that was why Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Piper, Jason, and Hazel were sitting in a cafe in NYC. Nico and Calypso hadn't wanted to come, and Frank and Reyna hadn't been able to get away from Camp Jupiter on such short notice.

"So how much longer do we have to wait, now?" Leo asked, fidgeting with washers and bolts. Percy couldn't blame him for being bored; they had been there for an hour after all.

"Her school gets out in ten more minutes." Annabeth said, glancing at her watch. "We can intercept her on her way back home. And remember, there's another demigod with her."

"How can we know she's a daughter of one of the big three?" Piper asked, licking her ice cream spoon. "There's no test for this or anything, right?"

"We'll just have to see who claims her." Jason shrugged.

"OK, we should go. Her protector says she always takes the same route home, and its a few blocks from here." Annabeth slid out of the crowded restaurant booth.

"About time." Leo grumbled, and Annabeth shot him a cross look. Leo shoved his pipe cleaners into the pockets of his toolbelt and stood up.

Percy's hand hovered over his pants pocket. Inside, he knew, was Riptide, his magic pen that could turn into a sword. They had come prepared for a fight: after all, three big three kids (Percy, Hazel, and the new kid) would be sending out some serious demigod stink.

They all filed out of the cafe, Leo pausing to grab a candy out of the bowl on the counter.

The others walked ahead of Percy, who was caught up in his own thoughts.

"Hey." Annabeth slowed to walk next to him. She took his hand, and Percy felt a little bit better. "Are you okay?" Her gray eyes scanned him, trying to pull out his thoughts.

"I'm fine." Percy smiled, but he didn't mean it. "I just…. What if its a daughter of Poseidon? I would have another sibling out of nowhere. I don't want another sibling. I was happy with things the way they are." Annabeth nodded understandingly.

"I know it can be tough. But we don't know if its a child of Poseidon. And even if it is, you should give her a chance, okay?"

Percy nodded. They jogged to catch up to the others. They all waited on a street corner, a few blocks from her school

A few minutes later, a school bell rang, and a minute after that three middle schoolers walked towards them down the street. And one of the three wore a baseball cap and walked with a limp: a definite satyr.

The girl on the left had bubblegum pink hair streaked with blue and green to her shoulders, like she was trying to make up for the lack of color in her gray-and-white school uniform. She had vivid green eyes, freckles, pointed ears, and a pixie smile.

The second girl was taller, with black hair tucked under a red ski cap, a few curls poking out from underneath it. She had sea green eyes and a broken nose, and she wore a leather jacket over her school uniform.

As she walked, she jumped in the puddles on the pavement, splashing her friends.

"Would you please stop doing that?" The satyr scowled.

"Sorry." The girl with the red hat shrugged, but she stopped.

As they walked past the group of demigods on the street corner, the satyr shot them a meaningful look. Annabeth stepped forward to say something, but at that moment a hydra burst out of the nearby alley.

A million things happened at once.

Pink-haired girl screamed and staggered back. In a flash, the girl with a red hat swore like a sailor and pulled out a switchblade. Percy, Jason, and Hazel drew their swords. Leo's hands burst into flame. Piper whipped out Katropis, and Annabeth pulled out her bronze knife. The satyr bellowed and tried to pull the two new demigods back, with no success.

Percy had to roll to avoid a fireblast from one of the hydra's heads, while Leo ran headfirst into it, unphased by the flames that engulfed him, swinging his hammer into one of the monsters eyes.

Hazel would have been incinerated, but Annabeth grabbed her arm and dragged her behind a trashcan just in time, the rough concrete scraping her hands. Jason saw it coming and picked up Piper, buzzing around the monsters head like flies.

"What is that thing?" Pink-haired girl shouted.

"Ella, get back, its a hydra!" The satyr shouted. The girl, whose name was Ella, did as he said, but her friend in the red hat did nothing of the kind. "Caspian, get back!" The satyr bellowed.

At that moment, one of the heads swung up and knocked Jason and Piper out of the sky.

"I'm going to help!" Caspian, the girl in the red hat, shouted. She was followed by Ella, who ran to help Jason and Piper. They had landed on a row of trash bins, and didn't seem more than bruised. Caspian, on the other hand, ran straight for the monster.

The others, meanwhile, had been having better luck. Percy slashed off one of its legs, and Leo shoved Annabeth out of the way of a fireblast just in time. On the other side of the thing, Hazel stabbed one of its eyes and the monster roared in agony.

Caspian managed to avoid getting injured. She stabbed the monster in the stomach, but the switchblade was made of iron and passed right through. She fell back with the satyr, to the alley where Ella was helping Jason and Piper to their feet.

"My knife went right through it! How is that possible?" Caspian demanded, frustrated.

"Its not made of bronze or gold." Jason said, leaning against the dirty brick wall. "Like my sword." He held up the gold sword.

"Don't let her take-" The satyr started, but Caspian was already running back into the fight with Jason's sword.

"Hey! My sword!" Jason yelled, but it was too late.

The group in the alley was soon joined by the other demigods. They watched Caspian in awe. They had never seen a demigod so skilled.

Caspian ran around the beast, waiting for an opening. A long neck swung towards her, threatening to take her feet out from under her, but she leapt over it and caught it with her hands as it rose again. It carried her high up, right over the body of the monster. Then she let go, twisting in the air as she fell, turning Jasons sword to point straight down. The second she hit the hydra, it exploded into sand like dust.

"Wow." Piper croaked. "That was…."

"Wow." Leo echoed.

Caspian stumbled when she landed on the ground, Jason's sword clanging on the ground. Ella and the satyr rushed forward to help her.

"Caspian! You ran right into a fight, you could've been killed!" The satyr shouted, but Caspian clearly wasn't listening to him.

She and Ella walked back towards the others, most of whom stared at her with open mouths.

"How did you do that?" Annabeth was the first to speak. "That was amazing!"

"I have no idea." Caspian shook her head. "I just kind of did it. But what was that thing? And who are all of you?"

"Yeah, and how come he can fly?" Ella asked, motioning to Jason. "And why was he shooting fire?"

"Let me explain." Annabeth said, holding up her hands for them to let her speak. "You know the Greek gods? Zeus and Hades and all those guys?" They both nodded. "Well this might be hard to believe, but they're real. They travel with Western civilization, so right now they're in the States. The gods sometimes have kids with mortals, called demigods. We're all demigods, and so are you." She held out her hand to Caspian. "I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."

Everyone introduced themselves, even the satyr, whose name was Flint.

"I'm Aello." Ella said. "But everyone calls me Ella."

"Aello also means strong wind in Greek." Annabeth said offhandedly.

"Right. Strong wind. Totally." Ella said, looking very confused. It was all Percy could do to not laugh. Ella obviously had no idea what Annabeth was talking about, but Annabeth didn't seem to notice.

"So we have to go to this camp half-blood place?" Caspian asked.

"Yes. It's the only safe place for demigods." Annabeth nodded.

"So is Camp Jupiter, but you might be happier at the Greek camp since you're greek kids." Hazel put in.

The demigods started back to camp. Jason flew Piper, and the others rode in the chariot they had come in. Flint the satyr declined the invitation to return to camp. He said that he wanted to continue searching for new demigods in the city.

They set down in the middle of camp half-blood about fifteen minutes later. "Hey, this place is really cool!" Ella said excitedly. "Do we get to sword fight?"

"Yes. You'll be trained in every skill you might need as a half-blood." Annabeth nodded.

"Awesome." Ella said, eyes gleaming. "Hey, which one of these cabins will we stay in?"

"It depends on your godly parent." Jason said. "Your parent will claim you, and then you'll stay in that gods cabin."

"What's claim mean?" Caspian tried to ask, but before she could get the words out, a glowing symbol appeared over Ella's head. It was a staff with two snakes wrapped around it. Glowing threads of light flowed around Ella, and then solidified in her hand. When the light faded, she was holding a beautiful tan-colored wood longbow, slightly larger than half of her own height. On her back was a quiver of bronze-tipped light arrows.

"That's claiming." Annabeth smiled at Ella. "I think we know where to put you, now."

"What was that?" Ella asked. "What god was that?"

"Congratulations, Ella. Your a daughter of Hermes, god of travelers, thieves, and all those who travel the roads and live by their wits." Annabeth said. She called over a pair of brown-haired boys who were identical. "This is Travis and Connor Stoll. Guys, this is your new sister, Ella. Show her around, please, and get her a bed in the Hermes cabin."

"Hey, Ella. Come with us, we'll show you how to get past the security alarms in the camp store."

"Really?" Ella asked excitedly, as they walked away.

"Percy, would you take Caspian to see Chiron?" Annabeth asked as Piper, Jason, and Leo walked away. She glanced at her watch. "I'm supposed to be teaching a class right now." Percy nodded and Annabeth jogged away.

Percy led Caspian towards the big house in an awkward silence. "So, are you and Ella both from New York City?" Percy asked finally.

"No. Ella is, but I'm from LA. I moved to New York last year."

"Really? LA, like, in California?"

"Is there another?" Cas laughed.

"So why'd you move to New York?" Percy asked.

"It was time for a change." Cas shrugged. "I got bored there." At that moment, the ground started to shake. Screams and yells of fear came from all over camp. But in a moment, the earthquake had stopped. "What was that?" She asked, panicked. "Does that happen a lot, here?"

"No! It's never happened before!" Percy said. "Come on, we have to find Chiron!"

We ran to the two-story blue-and-white house. We pounded up the steps and around to the back of the porch.

And standing there was a horse dude.

He was half palomino, half scraggy-haired dude in a tweed jacket.

"Who-"

"I am Chiron." He interrupted me. "And we have much to discuss.
