Chapter 2
Sasuke's house: 5pm
Sasuke sat on his bed packing his bag real quick when he heard his mother calling him from the bottom of the staircase.
"SASUKEEE DEAR HURRY UP!"
Sigh. Women.
They take all the time in the world, but when it's our turn they just rush us as if there's no tomorrow.
He grabbed his duffel bag, tossed it over his shoulder and made his way downstairs surpassing his older brother who was taking his sweet time to walk down the steps.
"Whoa, look who's anxious to meet their new wife." Itachi cooed.
Sasuke stopped his tracks and looked up to see his older brother texting away with a snarky smile taped onto that face of his.
Just as Sasuke was about say something to him, Itachi poked his forehead and wrapped his arm around his little brother's neck and ruffled his black, spiky hair as they walked down the stairs and walked into the car.
Sasuke was looking out the window as he tried my best to figure out where the hell he was going...
"Kaa-san? What house are we going to?" Sasuke asked his mother; his parents haven't told him anything other than the fact that they'll be staying over at a friend's house for a day or two.
"You'll see Sasuke..." his mother assured him.
Sasuke looked around the neighborhood and at the white house they were approaching...The house looked too familiar to him, a sense that made Sasuke cringe as to how quickly he recognized it..
.Is this?...yeah it is, I'm sure of it.
Sasuke was wide-eyed and confused as he glanced at his parents. The family walked out of the car and walk over to the trunk and open it up.
He slowly walked out of the car and looked at his parents, confused. He was expecting them to explain things to him by now.
"Are we at the right house?" he asked.
"Yes, now come grab the bags Sasuke" his father ordered.
Sasuke grabbed some of their stuff and walked over to the house as he double checked the house number...
This is weird...
The raven haired boy stood behind his parents as they knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it.
Nah, this can't be...It's probably a weird coincidence..
ding dong
Sasuke's parents rang the doorbell and stood at the front step in silence,
Sasuke groaned mentally, he wasn't sure why but he had a bad feeling about this random visit. Sasuke began to distract his mind with all sorts of things to avoid any awkward conversations with his parents which led him to wonder why Naruto hasn't been bugging him with his monster amount of texts yet. Sasuke was sure his phone would've been spammed since Naruto's been bugging him constantly about why he wouldn't show up anywhere today.
Sigh, no use...I'll tell him after this whole charade ends..
The Uchiha family stood at the front step for another 10 minutes, and rang the doorbell again as they waited for someone to answer it.
"Hn. They're not home, let's go" Sasuke suggested in hopes his parents would follow him after.
"No! Get back here Sasuke! Someone's coming!" Mikoto demanded as she yanked him by his ear and pulled him back to the spot he was previously standing on, followed by the faint sounds of someone running towards the door.
Sasuke continued to compel in his own thoughts as the door slowly opened, which led him to remember something very important: "I left my phone in the car."
Fugaku threw the keys towards his younger son as he dropped his bag and walked over to the car to get his phone.
Sasuke grabbed his black phone and just as he was about to walked back towards the house he heard a very familiar voice call out to him.
"Temeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Naruto shouted to the top of his lungs.
Sasuke turned around to see Naruto running towards him.
Naruto flailed his arms out and about until he was standing near Sasuke.
Sasuke shook his head as he waited for Naruto to catch his breath.
"What are you doin' here Teme?! I've been trying to call you all day!"
"Ahh..." Sasuke sighed, "Business here"
"Eh? Business here? What kind of business?"
Sasuke sighed as he kept my eyes closed and started walking towards the house...
Damn it.
"Tell me! C'mon, aren't we best friends?! Why are you going to Karin's house?!" Naruto called out.
"Yeah, yeah just wait..."
Sasuke knocked on the door as his blonde best friend stood outside waiting for him anxiously.
Sasuke knocked again and he looked down to see a pink haired girl standing by the door.
Her head was down so he couldn't recognize her at all, but he was sure that was definitely not Karin. She looked up at Sasuke as her thick glasses fogged up, and she flushed a pink that matched her hair color before bowing a little and moving to the side to let him in.
Sasuke shot her an eyebrow when he noticed her body was shaking tremendously with her head aimed towards the floor.
Sasuke rolled my eyes and looked around.
I knew it this was Karin's house...but who the hell is she? A cousin? A neighbor? A maid? A friend...? Nah, Karin wouldn't dare be spotted with a girl like that...hmm.
Sasuke quickly glanced back at her to see she slowly closed the door as she kept her head down and prepared herself to quickly walk away...Sasuke felt something drop to the pit of his stomach. He couldn't help but get the feeling that he knew this girl...but he couldn't register anything else other than the fact that he's seen that pink hair somewhere before.
"Hey" he called out.
Her body shot up along with her head as she stood there frozen in place.
"Huh?"
"Can you call my dad over?" he asked.
She nodded her head and quickly scurried away and didn't come back as his dad walked over to him.
"Why are you standing here, go to the living room"
Sasuke smirked at his father as he dropped his bag and put his hands in his pockets: a habit Sasuke had as a child.
"Naruto and the guys are waiting for me can I head out for a bit?" he said as he kept his poker face still in play...
Sasuke watched his father narrow his eyes at him for a bit.
C'mon old man...just say yeah.
"Is it more important than this?"
"What am I going to do here?"
Just then his mother walked in asking what's wrong.
"Sasuke wants to leave" Fugaku claimed as he eyed his son once again.
"But you just got here Sasuke...don't you want to stay?" his mother asked, with a very sad tone to her voice.
"And do what?"
"Well for one you can meet-"
"Go" Fugaku said cutting his wife off.
Sasuke looked right at his dad to reassure himself, making sure he heard right.
He looked at Sasuke and nodded as Sasuke knowingly nodded back and opened the door.
"But Sasuke don't you want to-"
"I will later" Sasuke quickly replied to his mom walked out the house. Just as he left he felt the pink mouse watch him from afar as he closed the door behind him and over to Dobe who lead the way into town.
"What happened? Karin wasn't home?!" his best friend asked.
"It's not that...shit" he sighed again, he was doing that a lot lately.
I know I can't keep a secret from him no matter what...and everyone is going to find out anyway, knowing my mother she won't let anyone hear the end of it. He thought to himself, accepting his defeat long before the fight began.
"Dobe there's something I need to tell you"
"What?"
"You can't tell anyone" he warned Naruto.
"Hehehehe what is it?" he giggled as he poked Sasuke's shoulder over and over.
Sasuke slapped his hand away and punched the top of Naruto's head until he agreed not tell anyone.
"Okay okay! Just spill it!"
"My parents are...sticking some girl with me" he mumbled, feeling totally humiliated by all of this.
"Ehh? So? Just say no!"
"They want me to ...marry... someone..."
Naruto stood there with his eyes wide open and his mouth hanging there
"MARRY?! TO WHO?!"
"They wouldn't tell me, but now I'm at Karin's house"
"You're getting married to KARIN?!"
"I guess, I mean I'm not sure...I asked Onii-san but he wouldn't spill..."
"Well then it's fine! You like Karin don't you?!"
He put his arm over Sasuke's shoulder and head locked him as he ruffled Sasuke's raven hair. Sasuke pushed him away nearly making him knock over onto the street.
"HEY TEME WATCH IT WILL YA?!"
"Hurry up, I need something to eat"
"Hey! Wait, does that mean Karin knows too?"
"I'm not sure..." he replied truthfully.
The duo walked into the diner and strolled over to their usual booth to find the girls in a different booth than the guys.
Sasuke sat in and waited for a waitress to come over and take his order. Sasuke glanced over at Karin and grimaced as he watched her laugh, text and talk away.
She was laughing and smiling with Ino as she took a sip of her drink and he tried his best to not keep his eyes on her when she quickly turned to look at him and wave.
Sasuke pointedly turned his face away as she got up and started walking over to him and sat down really close to the boy.
"Sasukeeee" she cooed.
She kissed his cheek as a waitress put down his drink. Sasuke took a sip of his soda, he was still pissed off at her for rejecting him so easily, but now he's stuck in a rut and he's not sure if he should ask her or not.
"Hey Karin did-"
"Sasuke, can we walk in private for a sec?"
She took his hand and walked over to another table as he watched the gang all stare back at him. Naruto made kissy faces while giving him thumbs up for good luck.
What an idiot. Sasuke thought to himself as ignored Naruto's silent cheer for him.
Within that second Karin started off by saying exactly what Sasuke was hoping she would say, "Ahh so I heard your family is staying over at my house today"
"Aa...hn" he turned his face away as she moved her hand over his and laughed.
"You do know why right?"
"Hn"
"Funny huh? You talked about getting married to some girl and I just so happen to be that girl"
"Did you know?" he asked her.
"No, I heard about it from my mother last night"
"What did she say?"
"She didn't say much except you're coming over then I heard my parents talk about marriage proposals and well I added it up myself"
"So...now what?"
"So...I know our parents want us together...and I know you want me and everything but..."
"But?"
"But I think we should wait out okay? I'm not sure if I wanna be with you yet...I was actually going to tell you that maybe we should just stay friends for a bit."
"Friends...?"
"Yeah friends...just for a while until I can think things over"
Heh, I can't believe I'm wasting my time by sitting here and listening to the bull shit that's spurring out of her mouth.
Despite what he was thinking Sasuke remained silent and listened to her talk, and after much thought Sasuke began to give in on her plan.
Hell it might work out.
"And you think you can convince our parents to lay the wedding off..." he asked her, mentally taking notes on what he should bring up during the conversation he will be having with his parents tonight.
"Yeah...at least till we graduate, and figure out what we want to do with our lives..." she replied, smiling.
"So you're saying you don't want to marry me because you're not interested anymore"
"Sort of...I mean...we've had good times together but...now that I know our parents want this as well then it's safe to say we can take a break right until I'm ready to accept you...?"
Sasuke felt anger boil inside of gum almost immediately follow up on her words.
"...what do you want me to say?"
"Just say we'll keep each other in mind and talk to our parents when we go back to my house okay?"
"Why can't you just pick one or the other Karin?"
"Sasuke! Please! I know it sounds harsh but just listen okay...I mean it'll be good time for us to think about where we stand with each other plus..." her eyes danced right over to the guys that winked and smirked passed her.
The raven boy glared at assholes causing them to wipe their smirks off and quickly move on as she looked back at him.
"Plus what?" he growled out, he was way too angry to care about what she had to say not.
"I just need some space okay?"
He saw her smile at them and quickly looks back at him. Sasuke let out a quick laugh before he looked around to see other guys signalling for her again.
"What's so funny?" she asked.
"Nothing...It's just"
"What? Tell me"
"Forget it...Karin just...do what you want I can care less at this point" he mumbled, his heart was way too broken to, and his mind was way too fucked to even begin to deal with her shit.
"Oh goodie! Thank you Sasuke!"
She jumped into him arms and kissed his cheek before letting him know they'll be heading home in a few minutes together.
The two went back to their table, Sasuke notice the guys look back at him as he gave everyone a death glare.
"Everything alright?" Shikamaru asked, concerned for his friend.
"Everything's fine! Right Sasuke?" Karin replied back as she moved her hand over Sasuke's and squeezed it tightly. She snuggled next to him and took a sip out of his drink. Sasuke felt sick to his stomach as he took note of her actions which began to counteract with every word she just said to him.
There has to be another way to convince my parents to get me to leave the house... Sasuke dreadfully thought to himself as he laid his head back against the seat.
A few minutes later he got a text from his brother telling him to head back. Karin and Sasuke got up to leave the table when Naruto called him out.
"What?" Sasuke growled out, he wasn't the mood to deal with Naruto's stupid shenanigans right now.
"What did she say? You seemed pretty pissed off when you came back" Naruto asked, he was honestly concerned for Sasuke's future.
"Hn" Sasuke smirked at him as he took another look at the girl who was breaking his heart with her own sweet words."She's not into me anymore dobe, we're going to talk about it with my parents" he sighed.
Naruto grew quiet as he put a hand on Sasuke's shoulder
"You okay with that?"
Sasuke shrugged his shoulder as Karin waved goodbye to everyone and started walking towards him.
"Nope" he mumbled, "and I'll tell you the rest later, peace"
"Good luck bro" Naruto gave him another shake to his shoulder.
"Bye everyone! Bye Naruto!" Karin waved at everyone once more.
Naruto smiled faintly at her before walking away as she dipped her arm around Sasuke and led them towards the sidewalk.
"He doesn't like me much does he?" she asked suddenly.
"Dobe?"
"Yeah"
"He's weird"
"And stupid hahaha well I'm glad someone still likes me...right Sasuke?"
She snuggled against him as he looked at her then quickly looked straight ahead.
"It's too bad you don't want me" Sasuke joked.
"Ugh, Sasuke come on, we'll always be close friends...plus you liking me will always remind me that there's a guy out there who genuinely still loves me right?"
Sasuke stayed quiet for a bit, he knew he wouldn't be able to say anything after that, he faintly nodded his head in agreement.
"...right" he replied in a quiet voice.
She giggled as she kissed his cheek and continued to walk towards her house when suddenly a question popped into his head.
"Who's that girl with the pink hair?" Sasuke asked curiously, for some reason he wanted to see if he could try to remember her from her name.
Suddenly Sasuke felt Karin's whole aura just chill up as she suddenly stopped her tracks and looked back at him, her eyes losing all warmth to them.
"Pink hair?"
"Yeah, that pink little mouse I saw at your house...Who is she?"
"You mean you don't remember?" she asked, narrowing her eyes.
I arched an eyebrow at her as she slowly started to smile and suddenly started walking again.
"She's my sister Sasuke...don't you remember her at all?"
"Sister?"
Karin had a sister all this time? Hn, how come I don't remember...?
"Yep, now come on, it's almost dinner time"
They quickly walked home as he tried my best to jog his memory of Karin ever having a sister...but nothing came to mind.
The two walked into the house as Karin greeted everyone
"Tadaima!" she cheered.
"Okaeri Karin, Sasuke-kun please come sit down, we have some news to share with you guys" Mebuki smiled, as she welcomed her loving daughter home.
Karin looked at Sasuke and smiled.
"Remember the plan okay?" she whispered into his ear.
The raven haired boy nodded his head as he felt his feet suddenly get heavy.. Sasuke paused for a second, mid-step and thought to himself....do I really want to go through with this?
He walked into the living room to see everyone gathered around smiling and talking as if this conversation was going to be no big deal.
"Sasuke dear come sit next to Kaa-san" Mikoto said as she tapped the seat next to her.
Sasuke nodded his head as he greeted everyone else and sat next to his mother.
He glanced up to see Karin sit directly across from him.
"Forgive me for coming in so late to welcome you to our house" Karin chirped as she looked at his mother, who smiled and responded with, "oh, it's fine dear you're not late at all, the night has just begun for us"
"Hahaha oh yes, um" Mebuki cleared her throat and looked over her shoulder, "Sakura dear go make some tea for everyone"
Sasuke glanced up and watched the pink mouse poke her glasses up towards the bridge of her nose as she bowed quickly and scurried into the kitchen.
Sakura? Her name was Sakura huh...Sakura...Sakura...
Sasuke felt his eyebrows furrow as he tried his best to remember who she was...
He felt his head begin to ache from trying to think back to his childhood.
"So where were you both?" Mikoto asked, eying her son.
"I ran into Sasuke at Ichiraku's" Karin laughed as she quickly winked at Sasuke.
"Karin you were supposed come home earlier to be here for our guests" Kizashi, her father, noted, he seemed pretty upset with her.
"Hehe sorry 'tou-san duty calls, I had stuff to do" she quickly replied as she looked down at her polished nails.
"Yes but your sister was stuck-"
"Enough chit-chat, I'm sure Mikoto-san has news for all of us." Mebuki said, cutting her husband off to avoid any confrontation in front of their guests.
Sasuke sighed as he sat back with his hand against my chin as he drained their voices out of his head and looked towards the kitchen to see the pink mouse running around and about making tea.
Curious Sasuke couldn't help but find himself stand on his feet and walk over to the kitchen to see her sit there with her hands clenched together.
"Hey-" He lowly mumbled, surprising the frantic girl.
"Huh!?" she shouted as she quickly turned around and looked right at Sasuke, once again he noticed her body start to shiver up, and her hands began to tremble.
"Water..?" Sasuke asked gesturing his hands in a 'drinking-a-glass' motion.
"Water?" she repeated him, in a whisper.
"Yeah can I get a glass of water?"
"Ahh! Yes..."her voice was quiet and fragile as she moved around and grabbed a glass of water for him and handed it over to the boy, her hands trembling frantically.
Sasuke arched an eyebrow at her and began drinking the glass of water slowly as he tried his best to think of how to ask her if they ever met before when Karin suddenly waltz in with a big grin on her face.
"Hey Sasuke, I want to introduce my sister to you." Karin sang.
"Eh? Um..." Sasuke glanced to see the girl's complexion wash out.
"Www Sakura don't be shy, I'm sure you remember Sasuke...Sasuke U-chi-ha.. Right?" Karin cooed, teasing her sister. She tilted her head a bit before walking over to Sakura and pushed her towards Sasuke.
"Come on say hi"
The girl looked up at him and waved hello before quickly looking away causing Karin to burst out laughing.
"How cute, I guess she still remembers the incident from 6 years ago and doesn't know how to talk to you, right Sakura?"
"Incident?" Sasuke asked, he wasn't sure what Karin was talking about.
"Ugh you still don't remember?!" she angrily asked, moving her hands to her hips.
"Hn..." it was true, nothing came to mind for him.
"She's the one that tried to kiss you in the playground in front of everyone! Ino used to call her forehead remember?!"
"Forehead...?"
Karin couldn't hold back her laughter and continued to break into a fit from the laughing as Sakura stood there frozen.
"You then asked how she got her forehead to be so shiny and flicked her back making her fall back AHAHAHAHAA"
Sasuke smirked, he still didn't know what Karin was talking about but he couldn't help but find it amusing when he glanced at the girl to see her hair was tied back in a slick bun causing her forehead to be exposed for all eyes to see.
Sasuke was about to comment something when he watched her head lower down towards the floor, "umm excuse me I have-" Karin slapped her on her back making her choke on her words as Karin continued to laugh and minutes later Sasuke found himself laughing as well.
"Oh God, I'm teary," she laughed, wiping the edge of her eyes, "Damn was she obsessed with you...hahaha...oh hey Sakura I have a question do you still love Sasuke after all this time? He looks hot even after all these years right?" Karin laughed; she was clearly enjoying herself right now.
Sasuke looked at the girl as she stood there frozen as her cheeks flared pink causing Karin to burst out laughing again she grabbed the tray out of Sakura's hand.
"Ahh well I'll take that as a yes, hey I'll bring the tea over now, and Sakura try not to attack Sasuke with another attempt in kissing him okay? Hahahahaha!" Karin laughed, she nudged Sasuke's arm as she continued to laugh. Sakura made no movement, nor a sound; she remained in place taking in everything her sister was throwing at her.
Sasuke finished drinking his water and started walking towards the living room when he looked back to see her still shaking like crazy, as angry as she seemed he couldn't help but let out another faint laugh.
Karin just bashed her from left to right, and she said nothing in return, teh, pathetic.
"Hn, how lame" he chuckled as he set down the glass and made his way to the living room.
Kitchen
Sakura couldn't control her movements at all; she tried her best to stop this awful shiver she had running through her body. Her eyes pierced at the boy's tall figure as he waltzed back into the other room...
Why can't I stop shaking? She felt her legs nearly give out. Sakura began to take in deep breaths and calmed her anger down.
Sasuke Uchiha... 6 years past and my hatred for you is still strong as ever...
Sakura took in a deep breath and readied herself over as she walked back into the living room, once again feeling his eyes glance towards her every 10 seconds or so...
Sakura stood near the corner awkwardly as they all began to drink their tea in silence when his mother started to speak again, breaking the awkward silence that lingered in the air.
"This tea is so sweet and delicious; did you make this yourself Sakura-san?"
"Ahh, but Karin taught her the recipe, isn't that right Sakura? Karin also taught her all the dishes we will be having later today, haha my Karin is really talented you know" Mebuki added, trying to bring the attention back to Karin: like always.
"wahh how nice Karin-chan, Sakura-san you're very lucky to have a sister like that" Mebuki giggled.
Sakura smiled faintly at the women as she mentally rolled her eyes at the rush off comments that were being thrown at Karin, pfft, lucky my ASS! I'd rather have the Devil himself as my sibling than this bitch.
Sakura noticed her mother quickly scowl at her; out of habit Sakura looked away from her cold dead eyes and stared back at the floor, when suddenly Sasuke's dad began to talk.
"Well now that everything has settled down why not get down to the real reason why we're here"
"Ahh yes, um Sakura can you come sit next to me?" Kizashi asked his daughter, sending a warm smile towards her.
Sakura smiled back at her dad as she walked over and almost sat down when suddenly her bitch of a mother once again called her name. Sakura laughed mentally, she knew her mother was calling her on purpose to keep her busy, because she doesn't want Sakura to socialize with the Uchiha's at all.
"Sakura, Karin bought the tea over, why don't you go fetch us some cookies and cake to have hm?" Mebuki asked in her usual fake high-pitched voice.
She smiled her fake smile and Sakura nodded her head. The pinkette walked over to the kitchen to grab some stuff for them to eat as she heard their conversation begin.
"so what exactly did you all come here to discuss?" Mebuki asked.
"Mebuki you know exactly why we're here today, our family has been together for years now. And Fugaku and I have discussed it with you both for many, many years now." Mikoto said smiling at the woman.
"Well of course, I love our friendship and respect it dearly..."
Sakura stood near the sink and ate a cookie as she scoffed at her mother's words.
Respect? Bitch please; you wouldn't know the meaning of that word even if it came to bite you in the ass.
"That's why we're asking you as friends for your daughter's hand in marriage" Mikoto suddenly said causing Sakura to choke on her cookie. Sakura gasped but covered her mouth to muffle out her coughs, as she played those words back in her mind.
M-marriage?! Karin's getting married?.To...Sas-Sasuke?
"Mikoto..." Mebuki gasped.
HAHA YESSSS! Sakura clapped her hands faintly and started to jump around. She felt her heart start to race for the first time in years.
Oh this is great! If they marry her off, my mother will follow her like a dog, and it'll just be me and my dad, YES, YES, YES! This was great news for Sakura; this meant she'll be free until college where she's planning on leaving anyway.
"I...I don't know what to say" Mebuki stuttered.
"Please accept this Mebuki, your daughter truly caught my eye I couldn't think of anyone better than her for my dear son Sasuke"
"I...I don't know what to..." Karin whispered to herself as she placed a hand over her heart.
"Saku come on what's taking so long?" Kizashi asked his daughter
"Coming!" Sakura called out as she finished the last of her cookie.
Sakura frantically placed everything back on the tray and grabbed it as she made her way into the living room.
"Doesn't Sasuke have anything to say to this?" Mebuki asked, smiling at Sasuke.
Sakura stood near the corner again with the tray in hand frozen still as she watched him sit up and look at his dad quickly before looking back at her mother.
"I... Um" he began, but Karin quickly cut him off, "Actually Kaa-chan"
"Shh sweetie Sasuke's talking" Mebuki smiled at her daughter and turned back to Sasuke.
"Hn...um can I get another glass of water?" Sasuke suddenly asked glancing back at Sakura.
"Sakura, water" Mebuki demanded in a monotone voice.
"Ahh yes..." Sakura whispered.
Ugh, why does this fucker keep wanting water for?!
Sakura growled lowly as she poured another glass of water and walked over to the living room and put it on the table in front of him.
"Actually umm..." he began again.
"Heh, you see..." Karin laughed.
"Sakura here put this in the kitchen will you?" Mebuki asked without even turning her head towards Sakura.
Sakura mentally sighed as she squatted down to put all the cups on the tray. She sighed out loud this time when she heard Sasuke's mother giggle.
"Being her mother I assure you Karin will be a wonderful daughter-in-law to you both" Mebuki said proudly, placing a hand on Karin's shoulder.
Sakura got up as she put the last cup onto the tray and picked it up and held it firmly in her hands trying not to drop it as she remembered her mother threatening to kill her if any of the cups broke.
"Karin?" Mikoto asked, furrowing her brows.
"yes Karin, aren't you talking about her?" Mebuki laughed faintly, reassuring her that it was Karin they were walking about, and just as Sakura was about to walk to the kitchen she heard his mother giggle in confusion again.
"No dear I was talking about Sakura..." Mikoto said causing Sakura's eyes to nearly pop out of her head. She gasped as she felt her heart begin to pound against her chest.
What did she...
"I want Sakura to marry Sasu-"
Crash!
Sakura felt my whole body stiffen up as the tray dropped to the floor. She panicked and tripped over her own foot and landed on the ground with a thud.
"Pbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbttttttttttttttt!"
Sakura heard the water spray out of the Sasuke's mouth, he fell into a coughing fit while Sakura sat there on the floor in complete shock..
Sasuke began to choke, and cough "what?"
"WHAT?!" Both Mebuki and Karik shouted angrily, as they rose to their feet.
"What...?" Sakura asked...her voice as faint as ever.
"Eh? Why are you surprised...I thought I made it clear that I would like Sakura to be my son's wife..." Mikoto replied, shocked from all the confused looks she was getting.
Sakura's body began to tremble again. It was getting harder and harder to breathe it's as if she can feel her mother's hands already wrap around her throat as she watched her mother's eyes shoot right at her. Sakura glanced over to see her sister who was giving her the same exact glare: mirroring her mother.
"Ahh also might I add to all this, I'm hoping we can set the date right after dinner!" Mikoto cheered, indeed she knew was she said, and her words weren't mistaken at all.
She happily squealed as she walked over to Sakura and picked her off the floor to give the girl a tight, squeezy, hug.
"Congratulations Sakura-chan you're getting married!" She cheered in a very, happy loud voice.
Terrified, Sakura's whole body gave out and she felt the guilt start to eat her up. Her mouth went dry, her heart began to pace faster, her eyes were teary, and her face went pale...
Oh Kami-sama no...no please no...I'm...I'm going to be punished for a crime I didn't commit aren't I?
