Chapter 3
"Ahh Sakura are you okay?" Kizashi asked Sakura.
Sakura didn't even feel her dad's hand as it wrapped around her forearm pulling her as he gently pushed her towards Sasuke's mother who came over to hug her again.
"I think you are absolutely beautiful Sakura...you'd be perfect for my son..." Mikoto said her voice as warm and gentle as ever.
"M-Me?" Sakura stuttered.
"Her?!" Karin growled out glaring at Sakura.
"Mikoto-san, haha I assure you Sakura isn't much I mean Karin is..." Mebuki began, clearly confused by Mikoto's pick.
"I've made my choice already Mebuki-san, Kizashi had agreed on it as well."
"He has, has he?" she asked looking over at Kizashi who looked back at her and quickly looked away. He sighed deeply.
"Well..." Mikoto for one wasn't up to this idea at all.
"Oh don't get me wrong Mebuki, Karin is amazing, she's actually perfect in every way possible."
"Haha yes, which is why I don't understand..."
"Sakura's your daughter too Mebuk.i"
"Oh I know it's just-"
"I'm sure as her mother you are happy for Sakura."
"Yes of course I'm very happy you chose...Sakura" Mebuki lied as she walked over to Sakura and patted Sakura's shoulder slowly.
What the hell is happening right here and now? Sakura thought to herself, she thought this was about Karin, not her.
Karin was in complete shock, her complexion washed out and she suddenly grew quiet. Sakura watched her mouth clench tightly as she crossed her arms and sat there quietly on the sofa.
"Well now that, that's over how about some dinner huh?" Mikoto asked, as she turned towards the kitchen, oblivious to the fact that everyone was clearly unsatisfied with her decision.
"Ah yes, Karin go set up the table I have something to discuss with your sister" Mebuki said as she flashed another fake smile at everyone
"But mommy I-"
"Go Karin, guests are waiting"
Sakura felt frightened by the look of her mother's angry eyes. She looked away to avoid the glare her mother shot towards her, her mouth went dry again as she stepped closer to Sakura.
"Um Kaa-san I-"
"Sakura..." She took in a deep breath before looking at the terrified girl, "I don't know why, and I don't know how, but she picked you over my Karin-"
Sakura stepped back her tears began to burn her eyes.
"I don't know either I just-"
"Listen to me, okay?"
Sakura closed her mouth tightly; she felt the salty tear from her eyes drip down her cheek.
"No matter what..." Mebuki growled out between her teeth, ".you cannot I repeat CANNOT break this marriage, okay? Your father's company is being supported by the Uchihas and it's important, as well as Karin's sponsors got it!? You will not ask for a divorce unless he wants a divorce got it?!"
"Yes...understood" Sakura wasn't sure what to say after that.
"Good...now go to the kitchen...I have things to discuss with your father"
Sakura quickly bowed and walked over to the corridor. Sakura kept her hand pressed against the wall to keep herself steady, the second she moved away she felt her legs completely give out again.
Holy Crap I thought she was going to kill me...
Sakura sat on the floor, alone taking in a few breaths before attempting to move to her feet when she felt two hands push her back to the floor again
"You little whore" Karin whispered in a harsh, cold tone.
"Huh?" Sakura turned around to see Karin's eyes red with anger as tear drops came crashing to the floor
"How dare you take Sasuke from me..." She growled out
Sakura got to her feet and quickly walked over to the dining room before Karin had another chance to pick at her. She was much too confused, and terrified to deal with Karin's problems right now. Sakura was quietly playing with her food. She managed to glance around the table to see Karin, Sasuke, and her mother completely pissed off.
Sakura banged her head against the table feeling sick to her stomach; This isn't happening to me...this isn't happening to me.
Sakura went to bed that night hoping that this was all one big nightmare...
Next Day: Sakura's Living room: 2pm
Everyone sat quietly on the sofa, it seemed like no one had sleep last night, their expressions seemed completely tired and exhausted, including Sakura. She rubbed her tired eyes and yawned, ugh, what a horrible night...all I did was have nightmares of my mother attempting to strangle me throughout the night.
Everyone yawned and sighed while Mikoto-san started to talk on the topic of weddings.
Sakura groaned silently to herself, she mentally bashed her head against a brick wall the second she the conversation started...
I want to say no so badly...I don't want this anymore than he does...
Sakura dared not to look towards Sasuke when she knew he was glaring at her the second he came downstairs, she felt his angry eyes pierce at her while she sat next to his mother.
"I was hoping we can actually have a big wedding with-" Mikoto began.
"No I don't want a ceremony mom" Sasuke growled cutting his mother off.
Sakura's stomach tightened up when she saw the cold look in his eyes while he glared at his mother.
"What do you mean you don't want a ceremony?"
"I said I don't want one. I'm 16 mom, why do I need a ceremony for?"
"Ah well because it's a marriage Sasuke can't you just-"
"Sasuke..." Fugaku called out his son in a warning tone.
"What? How do you expect me to just...just accept all this, I mean I don't even know her for fucking sakes!"
Sakura's emerald eyes widened at his words while his mother jumped to her feet and walked over to her son.
"Sasuke Uchiha you apologize to everyone right this instance!"
"Why?!" he asked, raising his voice even louder.
"I shouldn't have to answer you young man now apologizes!"
"Uchiha-sama...its fine..." Sakura managed to chirp out. She felt bad for being the cause of their fight right now.
"No it's not fine dear he has no respect whatsoever!"
"I didn't think you'd pull something like this on me!" Sasuke's voice was louder than ever now.
"Like what Sasuke?!"
Sakura grabbed Mikoto's hand to gently bring her back to her seat when she saw Sasuke get up to stand in front of his mother to continue to protest on this. Although Sakura was trying to stop Mikoto's mother, most of Sakura wanted them to keep fighting so she can get herself out of this horrid mess.
"THIS mom THIS! I don't want to marry her knowing everyone's going to wonder who the hell I got married to! "
Sakura went breathless when she heard his words echo in her ears again.
His mother gasped while she looked at him once more, staring at him in disbelief.
"Excuse me?! You will not speak to Sakura that way Sasuke I'm warning you as your mother to say sorry to her this instant!"
"I understand you and Tou-san enjoy controlling my life but couldn't you have picked someone decent for me at least?! But nope you couldn't it just had to be someone as annoying as her!"
"Annoying?! You don't even know her Sasuke!"
"I don't have to know much about her to figure out that she's ANNOYING mom!"
"Sasuke!"
Just as she was about to slap him Sakura grabbed her hand and smiled towards her
Immediately regretting it afterwards, crap I should've let her smack the shit out of him, ungrateful brat.
"It's fine...we don't need a ceremony...plus I don't know anyone here at all so the wedding wouldn't go so well anyway..." Sakura managed to spur out, in all honesty, Sakura didn't want a ceremony either, Hell she didn't even want to sign the paper.
"But Sakura-chan..."
"Please...can we just move on from this?"
Breathe Sakura breathe...
Breathless Sakura took in a deep breath and walked his mother back to the sofa and offered her a glass of water she took a sip and clenched her forehead tightly.
"Sasuke is a part of this marriage too...let's ask him how he wants this to go" Fugaku added.
Sasuke hunched forward clenching his hands tightly as he looked around at everyone sitting there and glared at Sakura.
"I just want to sign the papers...that's it...no party, no ceremony...nothing"
"But..."
"Mikoto, if that's what'll get Sasuke to accept then let him."
"Sakura wouldn't like attention on her anyway, plus we can't afford a dress right now" Mebuki added, doing her best to calm this dispute down.
"The dress would've been paid for by us Mebuki."
"I know but the girl is entirely afraid of attention...hence the glasses"
Mikoto looked over at Sakura as Sakura sadly smiled at her and nodded her head.
"I'm fine with anything Uchiha-san..."
"Aww..." She cupped the girl's delicate face while Sakura watched a tear slowly drip down her cheek "alright..."
Sakura took another deep breath when her dad brought the papers out of the suitcase for two to sign.
"Sasuke if you'll sign here...and Sakura over here..." Kizashi pointed towards the end of the contract.
Sasuke signed the paper and got up immediately after and walked out the door huffing and puffing words Sakura couldn't understand.
Sakura watched him slam the door behind him and looked down at the paper and sighed.
Okay Sakura...with this paper you're married to this guy...bound to him legally...
Her eyes widened as she remembered her mother's words about how she's not allowed to leave him unless he wants want to...but then it hit her.
I'm going to move out...heh...I won't have to live here anymore...
And that was enough for Sakura to put the paper down and sign accordingly, soon after she took a breath as she realised this meant she's officially Sasuke Uchiha's wife...
Somehow ...this doesn't thrill me whatsoever...
"ohhhh yay Sakuraaaa! From now on please call me kaa-chan!" Mikoto cheered, the tone in her voice was back to its original state.
Sakura hugged her back faintly and looked out the window to see Sasuke nowhere in sight.
Later That Day...
Sakura walked into her small room and packed the last of her things as she thought of how fast everything was moving... and she wasn't looking forward to any of it...
She sighed as she kicked the little box she had left towards the door when her dad walked in and looked at her with a sad smile across his face..
"Hey...what's up?" Sakura asked
"Ahh...just came to see if you had anything else to pack...I didn't think Mikoto would want you to move out so quickly."
"Ahh yeah haha...well this is the last one"
"Mm...I see..."
The silence was killing her mentally; she awkwardly stood next near my dad unsure of what to say now...
"Umm-" They mumbled in unison.
They both laughed out loud as he came by and sat on her bed signalling her to go sit next to him.
"Sakura...before you go, I just want to make some things clear for you okay?"
Sakura nodded her head and turned towards him.
"I'm listening" she said.
"..Hn...well the reason why I wanted you to go instead of Karin was because well..." he sighed, bowing his head, "I think it'll be good for you to get out of this house...I told Mikoto about you and she instantly fell in love with you Sakura...I honestly only had good intentions when I thought about this marriage and well-"
"You don't have to explain yourself dad...I'm fine with this, I'm glad I get to move out...as for him...ummm well...I can figure something out."
He laughed nervously as he touched her back and ruffled her hair. Her dad was the only person on this Earth to ever love her genuinely. He has a soft heart and wants nothing but the best for the people he cares about, which is why he married her bitch of a mother.
"I wish I was a better dad to you...but this was the best I could think of to save you from this..." he choked at his words, unable to control his tears.
"Don't say that...you're the best father any girl could've ever asked for...please don't regret anything you do for me...ever"
They hugged each other as tight as possible, Sakura felt overwhelmed and began cry on his shoulder...
"I want you to be free...that's it...nothing more than to be free from this Sakura...this bad family, horrible town...ignorant people...and with you out of this house you're one step closer..." He said in between his cry.
"Free...yes, I want that too..." She whispered more to herself than to her dad.
"Well...we better get downstairs they're all waiting"
"It's a good thing I don't have much stuff huh?"
"Ahh well in a way yes."
They laughed as he led his dear daughter downstairs and the two walked out to the front yard. Sakura looked back at her dad who was the only one standing outside to greet her goodbye.
"Sakuraaaaa come on my sweet little daughter! The car's waiting for you!" Mikoto sang.
"Well at least one of us is happy about this" Sakura mumbled to herself.
Kizashi chuckled as he grabbed the back of his head, "well you should go but take this...for emergencies."
"What?"
He handed her a little bag and Sakura opened it up to see a big wad of cash, her eyes widened at the look of the size of the wad. This has got to be the most amount of money I've ever seen
"Save it for when you need it the most..."
"Thanks dad...!"
She jumped into her father's arms and hugged him tightly once more before walking into the car. Sakura looked over to see her mother and Karin standing near the door with no obligation to greet her goodbye.
Sakura sadly waved at them but they turned the other way and walked into the house as her dad remained outside and waved goodbye.
Tears raced down her cheek, she held in her breath and did her best to control them...she sat awkwardly in the back seat of Sasuke's car as they turned the different corner than his parents.
Eh? Why are we going a different direction?
Just as she was about to ask he mumbled the words to her...
"We're going to stay at my parent's second house...I left early to move my stuff...if you were wondering why I walked out like that"
Ooooh, so he didn't walk out angrily out of pure hatred for me...
Sakura faintly smiled at his words as she thought about how it somewhat made her feel a bit better about today.
Sakura looked out the window to see he was driving up to the giant grey and white house in the middle of the neighborhood.
It was absolutely beautiful. It had a garage, a driveway and a beautiful pathway to the front door.
"Wahh...it's so big...' Sakura gasped.
She heard him slightly scoff at her words. Sasuke parked the car into the driveway and Sakura walked out the car to take a better look.
He walked near the front of the house with one of her boxes in his hand.
"Hurry up" Sasuke mumbled to her.
"Ahh! Coming" Sakura grabbed some of her stuff and walked over to the front door as he unlocked it revealing the beautiful interior inside.
Sakura was astonished by the amount of space in this house, it wasn't big like a mansion but it was big enough for a big family to live in...It wasn't overdone at all.
The interior design was simple black and white, it was comforting yet modern...she absolutely loved it.
Sakura walked into the living room as he came back again with the last of her things.
Sakura felt like she was giving him trouble with just those 6 boxes alone.
"That's all your stuff?" He asked as he looked down to see just a few boxes on the floor.
"Eh!?" his voice startled her bit, Sakura turned around to see him look down at my box of stuff then glance up at her.
"Yeah...I don't have much"
"Aa..." He stepped in front of her and started walking when he suddenly stopped and looked over his shoulder and back at her.
"Why are you standing there? Come." he ordered her.
"Hm? Oh sorry!" Sakura ran over and started to follow him as he led her upstairs to show her the other rooms in the house.
Sakura suddenly felt nervous when she realised this was the first time she's ever been alone with a guy... And an attractive one at that...
Sakura looked straight at him as he opened some of the doors to show her. Sakura nodded her head and continued to study his fall figure, his black hair, black eyes, pale skin, Sasuke looks the same as he did when they were young, he was just taller, more structured and built, he was about a foot taller than Sakura.
...Somehow that doesn't help my confidence at all...He's really tall... and fit...Wah...he has nice jet black hair too...Pitch black eyes just like his beautiful mother..Damn Karin was right Sasuke's still hot as ever...crap
Her right eye started to twitch when realised what she was doing...
Stop. Starring. At. Him. Stupid!
Sakura mentally cried and started to bang her head over and over trying to push the icky thoughts of Sasuke being attractive out of her mind.
The pinkette stopped for a few seconds and looked at him again to notice how his shirt fit perfectly on his body, in the most teasing way possible her big jaded eyes widened and she started to bang her head again.
Damn it! Just focus on the stinkin' house Sakura, FOCUS!
"Here's one extra closet, and..." Sasuke said as he opened another door.
Sakura looked up again and noticed how one of the veins on his neck would pop out every time he talked. She watched his hands twist the door knob and she was fascinated how all his veins would simply pop out every time he made a movement with his arms...wah...he didn't even have to flex to reveal the muscles he had...it was perfect...so perfect it made me want to...
...
She blacked out for just a second and the next thing she knew she was touching his hand, staring right at his veins while he stood there awkwardly...in silence...staring down at the creepy girl that just randomly touched his hand.
Suddenly she looked up to see him slowly raise an eyebrow at her, Sakura laughed hesitantly as he slowly moved his hands into his pocket...giving her the utmost weirdest look she has ever received.
"Ehh?!" I looked up and down from her hand to him and nervously laughed and walked back; she put her hands behind her back, and took a few steps away from him.
Sasuke stood near the door silently "..." he blinked a few times before he looked the other way, "...Okay...moving on"
Say sorry you idiot!
"Sor-" she began to spurt out when he looked back and glared at her, Sakura choked mentally and managed to something else, "so where are the bedrooms?"
She mentally face palmed myself and nervously smiled at him as he shot another eyebrow towards her and walked to the other side of the hall.
He sighed as she looked down and this time physically face palmed herself while the two walked into an empty bedroom at the end of the hall
"First room." he quickly said he dashed to the other room that was two doors down the hall and opened the door. "Second room...pick which room you want"
Sakura slowly stepped into the room, sat on the bed and looked around when suddenly his words hit her.
She turned around and looked right at him..
"Which room I want? ...aren't we going share the room to-together...?" she asked him, feeling a bit confused at this point, they were married after all, it only made sense to sleep together...right?
Sasuke chuckled "me? Share a room with you?" he stepped closer to her.
Sakura quickly nodded her head; she watched his tall figure step closer her making her stomach twist and turn as he got closer to her.
Sasuke stepped closer with every word he said and she felt her heart start beating faster and faster.
"why..." ...step
"Would..." step
"I..." ...step
".share." step
"..a..: step
".room..." step
".with." step, step
"..you?" step...
He stood over her, like a predator standing over its prey.
"Be-Because we're married..." Sakura stuttered, the scent of his cologne began to engulf her senses.
"Married?" He asked as he moved both his arms on either side of me and leaned in front of her, tilting his head sides. Sakura's cheeks flushed almost instantly the second his scent hit her nose. He inched further towards her...
"Listen to me carefully...little mouse..."
"Um..."
She crawled backwards as he continued to inch forward.
Sakura felt her stomach churn, as her heart began to pound against her rib cage, her pulse started to race: Sakura was in a panic now.
thump thump thump thump thump thump
"I don't like you...actually I hate you...I don't want anything to do with you..." he growled between his gritted teeth
She moved further backwards as he crawled over her.
"I need you to get why you're here, you're a tool I used to get out of my parents place...got it?...while you're here you won't be near me, interact with me, interfere in my life, nor will you do anything that'll cause my parents to make me move back in with them, got it?"
His body was getting closer to hers and she could barely hear his words over her own racing heart...
Her body was shaking as she found herself stuck on the bed, with her body halfway against the headboard.
He was lingering over her small frame, the scent of his sharp cologne made Sakura very light headed, but at the same time she was choking on my own breathing...she held in her breath and tried not to cry as she heard his low growl ring in her ear..
"We're not a happy married couple," he continued to say, " we're two strangers living in a house...I'll die before I ask you for anything...and I will never...ever acknowledge myself as your husband...you will stay here by yourself in your own room...away from me...got it?"
Sakura failed to control her tears as she slowly nodded her head...
Sasuke took in a deep, harsh breath and let out a frustrated sigh. "Bring your shit into this room I'm taking the other..."
He looked right at her as he moved closer to her and she tried to look away.
Sakura felt his eyes linger over her body causing her to hold in my breath again, she was on the verge of passing out, realizing it was getting harder to hold her breath she tried to slowly breathe through her nose, when she saw this lock onto her lips..
He inched closer and she squeezed her eyes shut, she could feel his minty breath against her lips and suddenly...it was gone.
Sakura opened one eye to see him moving away from her, he sat on the bed and hunched over.
Feeling a bit relieved Sakura opened her other eye and stayed in place, afraid to move as she watched him slowly get up and walk out the room.
Just as the door closed Sakura let out a very deep breath and started to breathe in and out heavily calming her racing heart, her deep breaths echoed in the big empty room...
She laid on her side and hugged herself tightly, letting my hot tears drip onto my pillow while I stared at the door.
"I didn't even do anything and he hates me already...how nice..."
She cried until she felt herself drift off into sleep with no hopes in having him spend their wedding night together...
Next Morning
Sakura woke up the next morning and walked downstairs to see him eating cereal alone in the kitchen.
Sakura slowly walked over and poured herself a glass of water trying not to make too much sound when he suddenly spoke to her,
"School starts at 8, if you're late they give you detention, see ya" he quickly said to her, without making any further eye contact with Sakura.
He got up placed his bowl in the sink and grabbed his bag
"But I don't know even know how to get there..." Sakura replied back to him
"Not my problem"
He walked out the kitchen and soon out the door while she stood there trying to figure out how to get to school...
She didn't even have a proper phone to help her with this.
She sighed, it was hopeless, after much thought she figured she'd walk and ask for direction along the way.
Sakura looked through the cabinets for any food to see there was nothing to eat...
Ugh...
She banged her head against the fridge a few times before walking upstairs to get ready for her first day of school.
...After countless times getting lost and asking for directions she finally managed to get to school and have her classes assigned to her.
B201...B202...B203...
She looked up at the sign and double checked before she knocked on the door and walked into the classroom and she swear it's as if Kami-sama was playing with her life when she noticed the first two people sitting inside the classroom..
..My dear sister and loving husband
...
Fuck my Life...
The second she stepped in she immediately heard the scoffs and snickers, whispers and insults, gags and sneers towards her...
Sakura walked near the weird sensei wearing a mask and handed him the slip of paper.
"Ahh...Ms Sakura...Uchi...ha..." He spoke, reading her name out loud.
Sakura cringed at the sound of her name which caused the sudden burst of laughter that echoed in the room.
"Quiet down class...this is Sakura and she's going to be in our class from now on so please treat her well...Here you go Sakura.." He said to her as he handed back her paper.
Sakura clenched her fists tightly when she heard the random comments about Sasuke and her coming from all directions of the room; she couldn't help but breathe heavily as she tried her best not to run out the room.
"Ahh, oh and take this please Sakura" The masked sensei said.
"Huh?"
Sakura looked up at the teacher who smiled at her for a second before his eyes popped wide open for a mere second before slowly mellowing out.
"Ahh...just as I thought." he half whispered
"Hm?" Sakura tilted her head to the right thoughtfully as she stared up at her new sensei.
'I only saw her eyes for a second but it was enough for me to realise...she's beautiful...' Kakashi thought to himself, for some reason her beauty didn't surprise him all that much, at first glance he knew right away that she was more than what met the eyes...but why hide such beautiful eyes?..Sigh women and their complicated lives.
"What?" Sakura asked Kakashi suddenly shook his head and laughed nervously.
"You're really smart aren't you Sakura?" He cooed.
Sakura looked at him and smiled faintly before taking the textbook he had in his hands
"Well...I guess it's time to give you a seat." He said while clapping his hands as he turned towards the class. "And Karin! Please get up and move to the other side...Sakura you may sit next to Sasuke..."
"Pbbbbbbtttttt..." Karin almost broke into a laughing fit, she clasped her hand over her mouth to hide the fact that she was dying from laughter as Sasuke groaned and sank further into his seat.
She moved as Sakura walked over and sat down...
it was quiet for a bit until Karin popped a question to Sasuke.
"So Sasuke... how was your wedding night last night? she sang.
The whole class snickered as Sasuke looked over at Karin and glared at her.
"Bet Sakura's a wild one in bed am I right?" Karin's voice was full of nothing but humor.
Soon the class burst out laughing as Sasuke got up and walked out the classroom as Sakura buried her head on her desk to hide her blurry glasses and avoided any contact by any means necessary...
Lunch Time
Sasuke sat at his usual seat, pissed off when he looked over at Karin who was still laughing at the situation that happened this morning.
...Why didn't I even think of the possibility of her being in my class...Of course my mother would pull a stunt like this...
He sighed; Sasuke had to do his best to calm his nerves thinking of how to get himself out of this situation...
I have to get her to transfer...I just have to...
Sasuke pushed the straw to his milk carton when he heard Naruto walk over and sit next to me.
"Teme...I'm still confused..." Naruto admitted to his best friend.
"About what?"
"How did you end up with Sakura-chan?"
"I told you already it was my mom-"
"Yeah but why is Sakura-chan even here? When did she come?"
"You think I know?"
"Why didn't Karin tell anyone?"
Sasuke felt anger jolt into his bloodstream again as he looked over at her sitting by herself eating her lunch alone.
"Look at her!" he growled out.
"Yeah so?" Naruto asked, arching his eyebrow, Sakura was completely fine in his eyes.
"So? so, no one would want to proudly present someone like her dobe, just drop it...I was prepared for all the shit I'm getting from people today anyway, there was no way my mother wouldn't let the whole world know..."
"Ehh but you're so luckyyyyyy" the blonde reassured his best friend that his mother made the right choice.
Angry Sasuke let out a dry laugh the second he heard those words roll off of Naruto's tongue, this kid's delusional.
"You're drunk Naruto, go home"
"No seriously! Sakura-chan is so nice and sweet!"
"Yeah? Then you marry her, and give my parents a reason to divorce us"
Naruto looked at Sasuke with a look he hasn't seen for a while...a look that said: he was a complete douche bag.
"Screw you Teme! I'll be her friend; after all Sakura was the only girl that was nice to me!" Naruto growled out.
"What about Hinata?" Sasuke asked not looking away from lonely, ugly, annoying Sakura.
Naruto's cheeks instantly flushed at the sound of Hinata's name as his eyes mellowed out
"Hinata was too shy to talk until 2 years ago..." Naruto admitted.
"Well since you like her so much you go talk to her" Sasuke said turning away from her, it hurt his eyes to even look at her for so long.
"I will!" he declared as he got up and moved out of his seat as I laid back and closed my eyes
"Good now go bug her"
"And you're coming with me!" Naruto laughed. Sasuke's eyes shot open when he felt Naruto pull him by the arm and drag him over to her seat.
"Sakuraaa-chaaaan, remember me?!" He screamed and she quickly looked up and stared right at him. Sasuke looked away for a second but then he looked back to see her cheeks redder than he's ever seen them before. She had a big smile across her face as she nodded her head over and over as Naruto scratched his head and sat down across from her.
"Hehe really?" he asked while laughing, clearly happy she actually remembered him
"Mhm, it's been so long Naruto...glad to see you're the same"
"Ahahaha actually I'm not!"
"Oh?'
"Yeah! I'm a lot cooler now!"
She laughed and for a slight second Sasuke felt his heart slightly clenched as he faced her to realise this was the first time he's ever seen her this happy since he's met her.
Pang...
Annoyed, Sasuke quickly looked away when he noticed how flustered she seemed when Naruto grabbed her hand.
"Let's be good friends from now on okay?!"
Sasuke glanced from the corner of his eyes to see her nod her head and continue to laugh as Naruto babbled on and on about friendship.
"So if you ever need anything I'm here for you ! Believe it!"
She smiled a big smile and for some reason that knot inside his stomach tightened. He saw the blush on her cheeks deepened.
"Thank you very much Naruto."
"Ahahahha it's no problem and..."
His talking completely stopped when his head turned towards the left to see Hinata walking near him; she blushed and waved at him as he nervously laughed and waved back and Sasuke noticed Sakura's blush lighten up and her smile faded when she turned her head to see Hinata smile at Naruto, and that's when something interesting hit the raven haired boy...
Hn, interesting...
"Ahh well! We'll leave you alone now; I got to go ask Hinata something, bye Sakura-chan! Talk to you later!"
"Bye Naruto! It was nice to see you again."
He jumped out of his seat and ran towards Hinata as Sasuke slowly got up from his seat and looked at her.
"Hn" he chuckled as he realised everything that he just witnessed.
"What? she asked, her eyes still glued to Naruto
"You like Naruto...don't you?"
She gasped and quickly looked away as her cheeks flushed pink again and suddenly Sasuke had this annoying itch inside of him when he realised he hit the dot.
"He's...nice to me...and I like him as a friend."
"Right..."
"Why do you care anyway...we're strangers right?"
Pang
She got up and threw her lunch into the trash before walking out the lunchroom with her cheeks still stained red as he sat there suddenly feeling this funny knot tighten in his stomach and an annoying itch inside of him..
What the Hell is this?
Sasuke shook my head a few times before he looked over to see Karin looking his way. She smiled and crossed her arms as she slowly walked over to him.
"Wanna go to 117 for a bit?"
Sasuke nodded his head as she took his hand and led him to their usual make-out spot as he tried his best to shake this annoying feeling out of his system...
