Hi guys! I'm here with an action packed update!
"Let's do it!" I shouted.
"Alright this shall be fun, but first let's see what moves our Pokemon know." Xavier said.
We each held out PokeDex to our Pokemon. It was scanning then said "Froakie the Bubble Frog Pokemon. It protects its skin by covering it its body in delicate bubbles. Beneath its happy-go-lucky air, it keeps a watchful eye on its surroundings. He knows the moves Tackle and Bubble."
"Fennekin the Fox Pokemon. As it walks, it munches on a twig in place of a snack. It intimidates opponents by puffing hot air out of its ears. He knows Tail Whip and Ember."
"Hmph. Now that we know our Pokemon's moves let's get this started!"Xavier shouted.
We positioned ourselves across from each other. We looked at each other seeing who going to make the first move. "Fennekin Tail Whip!" Xavier's Fennekin ran at Azure so fast I didn't have time to say anything. Azure got tail whipped pretty hard. "Azure come on get up!" I shouted. Azure managed to rise to his feet. He was staring down Fennekin pretty intensely. "Now use Bubble, Azure!". He opened up his mouth and six bubbles shot out from it. "Fennekin dodge!" Xavier shouted while holding his fist up. Fennekin managed to dodge the first five, but lucky got it with the last one. It yelped and fell down. "Fennekin don't be weak and use Tail Whip!" Xavier shouted. I tried to say dodge, Azure got hit anyways and was knocked out. I returned him to his pokeball. My friends and I were shocked what Xavier said earlier.
"You can't just call your Pokemon weak just because they get hit!" Rey exclaimed.
"Well only weak pokemon don't move fast." Xavier said while returning his Fennekin back its pokeball.
"Even the fastest Pokemon get hit and besides he's your friend and you should care for him!" Rey shouted.
"Pokemon are only tools for victory."
"Alright that's it!" Rey shouted as he ran up to Xavier with his left leg cocked back and kicked Xavier in the face. Xavier fell to the ground. Rey was going to beat him up some more, but Momoko and I managed to pull Rey away. Typical Rey and Xavier they were polar opposites. Xavier sat up rubbing his cheek and looked angry. He eventually got up to his feet. "If you ever do that again Rey. I'll beat you into a pulp."
"I would love to see you try bitch!" then both of them started to walk up to each other.
"Guys stop it right now!" Sasha screamed.
"But your dumbass of a friend started it." Xavier said.
"I ain't a dumbass! At least I'm not weak!" Rey exclaimed.
"I'm not weak!"
"I remember when you said anyone who gets hit is weak."
"Shut up!"
"ALL OF YOU SHUT UUUUUUUUP!" Momoko yelled. Momoko is usually the quiet one, but if she yelled and she was angry too. Any of us would shut up if she yelled. We saw the lab doors open and Professor Bonsai came through them.
"What was all that commotion about?"
"Nothing." I said.
"Ah well I came out here because I forgot to give you three boys a region map and five pokeballs each."
"Ah sweet!" Ray said excited.
"Great!" I said
"Just give me my things so I can start my journey."
"Fine. You little brat." the Professor whispered under his breath.
"What did you say Professor?" Xavier asked.
"Oh nothing." as the Professor gave Xavier his things.
"Well see you dumasses later." Xavier said heading to Route 1.
"Jeez that kid can be a douche sometimes. Oh yeah here you go Rey and Armin." He handed us our things. I was trembling with excitement again.
"Well you four good luck on journey. Oh and the maps also works like a GPS too, so you always know where you're going."
"Thanks Bonsai." I said. I turned around and looked at my friends. "Well shouldn't we get going?"
"Hell yeah!" Rey exclaimed.
"Mmm hmm." Momoko said.
"OMA! Finally!" Sasha shouted. We all started to walk towards the gate that entered you into Route 1. I've been waiting my whole life for this moment and now it's really happening. We stopped at the gate looked each other walked through it. Route 1 was so beautiful it was a grassy plain with a dirt road that seemed to stretch on forever, with a few ponds here and there, and there were small cluster of bushes in some places, and we saw some Pokemon walking. "WOOHOO!" Rey shouted.
"Armin! You and I are finally on our Pokemon journey!"
"I know I am so pumped!" I said loudly.
"So what Pokemon are you gonna get first?" Momoko asked.
"Any Pokemon we want I guess." Rey said.
"Well I hear a lot of Grass-Types are on this route so I may catch one." I said.
"Well all I know is that I'mma catch me a Goomy." Rey chimed in.
"You know finding Dragon-types are rare?" Sasha said with sass.
"Woman I'mma get one either way."
"Yeah suuuure."
"Don't doubt me!" Rey yelled.
"Woah settle down there Rey." I said while lightly laughing.
"Well I still want one anyways." Rey whispered.
"Can I look at the map?" Momoko asked.
"Sure." As I gave her the large black tablet. She pressed the power button. The pokeball logo appeared and then loaded the Ariecor region map up.
"Well we already know on Route 1, after that is Route 2, Silver Town, Route 3, and the your guy's first gym battle in Aaron Town" She handed the map back to me. I put it in the backpack that I left yesterday at the Route 1 gate. It was a two-strap, blue and white backpack with three pockets, one pocket was the main pocket where get the map or other things, the second pocket his where I kept my food and drinks, and the last pocket is where I kept my pokeballs. I also had a tan leather pokeball belt. Thank Arceus no one stole them. It must've been for hours we walked. Then I heard rustling in the bushes. "Hey do you guys hear that?" I said.
"Hear what dude?" Rey asked.
"The bushes look!" I loudly whispered. The bushes were shaking then a Pokemon popped out of it. "What is that?" I said pulling out my PokeDex. The PokeDex scanned it's information. "Bellsprout the Flower Pokemon. Its bud look like a human face. Because of the bud, it is rumored to be a type of legendary mandrake plant. He knows the moves Vine Whip, Sleep Powder, and Poison Powder."
"Well are you gonna catch it Armin?" Momoko asked.
"Yeah because for some reason I feel a bond with it." I walked over to the Bellsprout. I put my hand out so it can sniff it at first it backed away then it came back and sniffed my hand. It made a cheerful sound. I pulled out a pokeball "Hey little Bellsprout wanna go on a journey with me?" The Bellsprout nodded cheerfully.
"Well all I got to do is catch you is that alright?" I asked
"Bell Bell!" He gleefully said.
"Alright here we go!" I threw the pokeball at him. Bellsprout turned into red energy and went inside the pokeball. The pokeball fell on the ground. It started to shake. One, Two, and I held my breath for the last shake and Three! It made clicking sound. I went over to the pokeball and picked up and held it over my head.
"Yes I caught my first Pokemon!" I yelled.
"Damn that was easy, hopefully I catch a Pokemon like that." Rey said.
"Congrats!" Momoko said.
"Well done newbie." Sasha said.
"Thanks guys, but what should I nickname it." I said rubbing my chin.
"How about Leif?" Sasha said.
"Nah I'm not going for cutsie." I said.
"Hmph!" she said pointing her nose up in the air and crossing her arms.
"Yo how about Vert?" Rey chimed in.
"To plain." I said.
"Ok bro."
"Oooo how about Sakura?" Momoko added.
"What?...No that's a girl's name."
"Oh." she sighed.
"I got it!" I exclaimed.
"What it is Armin?" Momoko said.
I held the Pokemon with two hands and said "Flytrap." the white button on the pokeball glowed green as if it liked its nickname.
"Yo that's a good name, but doesn't sound threatening to other trainers." Rey said.
"I like it." Momoko blushed.
"It's a cute name." Sasha said.
"FLYTRAP!" I shouted.
"Woah ok that does sound threatening when you yell like that." Rey said.
"Well guys shall we keep moving?" Sasha said. We all nodded in agreement. We walked for another two hours. Then out of nowhere a pig looking pokemon came out of nowhere.
"WOAH WHAT IS THAT?!" Sasha screamed.
"I don't know, but I want to catch it!" Rey said excited. He pulled out his PokeDex and scanned it.
"Tepig the Fire Pig Pokemon. It loves to eat roasted berries, but sometimes it gets too excited and burns them to a crisp. He knows the moves Tackle, Odor Sleuth, And Ember."
"Alright Rook come on out!" Rey said throwing the pokeball.
Rook popped out "Ches Chespin."
"Alright use...ah shit!" Rey shouted.
"What's wrong Rey?" Momoko asked.
"Guys I forgot to scan for his moves." He said with a nervous chuckle.
"I'll hold him off until you scan Rook! Go! Azure!" I shouted.
"Ok here we go." Rey held up is PokeDex to Rook.
"Chespin the Spiny Nut Pokemon. Such a thick shell of wood covers its head and back that even a direct hit from a truck wouldn't faze it. He knows Headbutt and Vine Whip."
"Alright Armin I got this now."
"Cool! Azure return!" Azure became red energy and went back into its pokeball.
"Ok you ready Rook." He nodded at his pokemon and Rook did the same.
"Alright! Use Headbutt!" Rook rushed at the Tepig. He put his head down and the Tepig dodged. "Again!" Rey shouted. Rook did the same thing, but same result happened. The Tepig used Ember. Luckily Rook moved on his own. "Now! Use Vine Whip!" Rook had vines coming from his upper back and really whipped that Tepig. Tepig got up used Tackle. Direct hit to Rook.
"CHEEEEEEEES!" the Pokemon shouted.
"Oh no! Rook!" Rey yelled. Rook was on the ground just laying there.
"Rook come on get up." He wasn't getting up.
"ROOOOK PLEASE I BELIEVE IN YOU" Rey screeched. Just like that Rook sprung up, revitalized, and he ran Headbutted the shit out of that Tepig. Tepig laid on the ground. "Alright here's my chance!" Rey pulled out the pokeball and threw at the Tepig. It turned in red energy and went inside the ball. One shake, two shakes, and I could see Rey hold his breath for the last shake. Then the pokeball made the clicking noise.
"Yes! I caught my first Pokemon!" Rey looked so excited.
"Wow that Pokemon is cute!" Sasha said with a glint in her eyes.
"He really is cute." Momoko said.
"So what are you gonna name it?" I said.
"Asura." He said.
"Awesome name'' I said.
"I know." Rey and I then fist bumped. Then we kept walking until we found the Uno Inn to rest in. Rey and I shared a room and the girls shared a room. It was night time. I stared at the ceiling.
"Psssst! Rey." I whispered.
He groaned "Yeah?"
"I like our journey so far. How about you?"
"Yeah. Now go to sleep." Rey threw a pillow at me.
"Hahaha alright." I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
