"I think her music is ridiculous," Mom tells me. I glare at her. "I happen to really like her music." She glares back.
"Does it really matter?" Stefan asks. Klaus chuckles, "Just leave them be, Stefan." I roll my eyes and look ahead. Right before my mom falls from tripping over a rock, I catch her.
"Be careful, alright?" She nods and smooths out her shirt. "You two alright up there?" Klaus calls. I glance over my shoulder and nod.
"We're almost there," I mumble. "What if I get bit? What happens then?" Mom asks.
"Same thing that happened to Stefan's brother before he was cured. So try not to get bit," I answer. Klaus sighs.
"Is Ray getting too heavy for you? Would you like some water?" he asks Stefan sarcastically. "I get that we're stuck walking together in these dog infested woods, but could we skip the chit chat?" Stefan growls.
"First, I'm offended. Second, we're here," I mutter. Klaus smiles widely, pats me on the back, and gets Stefan to drop Ray's body. The whole pack's attention turns to us.
"Ray. Oh my god." A brunette chick comes running up to his body. She glances at Stefan and I. "Who are you?"
Klaus intervenes, "The more important question is, who am I? Forgive the intrusion, but my name's Klaus." The girl slowly stands. "You're the hybrid."
I roll my eyes as he smirks. "Fantastic."

"Maniacal laughter?" Mom offers. I shake my head. "I absolutely hate that game." Klaus sits up from his reclined position. "What is it?"
"Basically, you tell each other stupid jokes, and you have to do your best maniacal laugh. It's crap, like really bad." Mom frowns, "It's not that bad." Klaus laughs, "It sounds terrible."
"How can you two be so calm around him?" the brunette asks. I smirk and turn to her. "Tell me, what do you think I am?"
"You're obviously a werewolf." I nod. "Who do you think I am? Your lovely friend, Ray, knew who I was. He told me something about a prophecy."
I drop my fangs. All the male werewolves push the women to the back. My fangs go back in as I laugh. "What are you doing, Hazel?"
I frown and look at Mom. "What did I do wrong?" Klaus glances at the both of us. Mom gets up and walks away. "I'm so confused," I mumble.

"What did I screw up?" Mom groans and turns around. "You are not him. Don't act like him. You're supposed to be with Elijah."
"I realize that. But guess what? I'm trying to get him back. And if that means acting like a monster, then so be it. I could probably even get Klaus to let you go if I try hard enough." Her eyes widen, "No, I can't leave you."
"Yes, you can. And you're going to. You shouldn't be here. You should be chilling out on a beach in Hawaii. Yet, you're here, with the worst thing on the planet."
"You're more important than me. You're Elijah's mate, you're this prophesied queen werewolf-" I hear a growl, cutting her off. We both turn to the left to see the brunette chick, who now has bloody eyes.
She runs at me, but I kill her by ripping her heart out. I meet my mother's gaze. "Run to the car. Get in, roll up the windows, and lock the doors. Don't get out." She nods and disappears.
Suddenly, I'm being tackled by another hybrid. What the bloody hell is going on? I rip its head off and blood splatters all over me.
I run through the woods, slowly turning into a wolf. I finally see Klaus fighting off the hybrids. Right before I reach him, I turn into a wolf and take out a few hybrids in the process. I bet that looked so awesome.
After about an hour, all the hybrids are dead and Klaus is just staring at me. "Hazel?" My head tilts and he smiles in relief.
