Disclaimer: I do not own Mahou Sensei Negima! or Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru so Desu yo?

AN: Well, first thing first, I apologize for the delays. I wanted to post this last months but things just kept getting in the way. But you guys don't care about that, so moving on!

Bladedknight: Yeah, that was a complete accident. In the original draft I wrote the number 2. In the second draft it somehow got changed to 12 and I failed to notice. So it somehow ended up being twelve years before I realized it. I'll go through and edit the previous chapters to fix this. Thank you for bringing it up, or I would have never realized.

enigma95: They're all OC's that I created. Some of them have appeared in my previous works, including the original version of MiLG, though.

ShinRainHawk: All the 'power level' stuff will be revealed when it needs to be. You're in for a treat this chapter though :D

Note 1: In the prologue and chapter 1, I have a character named Midori as part of Negi's community. Midori was only a placeholder name until I decided on her actual name. Her real name is Elanorwen, or Elle for short. She was the dryad who couldn't read the mood in case you couldn't remember.

Anywho, with all that out of the way, onto chapter 2! Hope you enjoy it~

"Geez, that little loli sure likes to put on some big shows." Evangeline sighed as she read from the parchment in her hands. It was an invitation letter to a large-scale GIFT game hosted by Thousand Eyes.

"Well, you know how she is. And should you really be calling anyone else a loli?" Negi asked, looking over an identical copy of the invitation. "It seems anyone from the five digits and below are allowed to participate, though I doubt we'll actually see anyone from the five digits."

"Seriously, what kind of prize is that anyway?" Evangeline grumbled, laying her head down onto the arm of the couch she was sitting on. "Why would anyone want such a redundant prize?"

"The prize isn't the point of this game. If you look at their recent movements, it's pretty obvious this is to scout out the stronger communities of the lower floors. She simply preparing for the inevitable." Negi stated, setting the parchment aside in favor of finish the remaining mountain of paperwork from his absence.

"This is a good chance though." Evangeline smirked. "Isn't it about time we announced our return to the rest of the world?"

"I wonder if the rest of the world even remembers who we are. I doubt anyone knows us as anything other than Canaria's allies, and even that's a stretch." Negi chuckled, quickly finish the first stack of paperwork.

"That's entirely your fault. I know you work better behind the scenes, but that's no excuse. What kind of former Demon Lord are you?" Evangeline huffed, clearly irritated with Negi's bashful nature. (AN: Bashful isn't the exact word I'm looking for here, but I can't recall the word I'm looking for.)

"It hurts that I can't deny that." Negi sighed. "It's just easier to do things when no one knows who you are."

I know that!" Evangeline snapped. "It just pisses me off that nobody knows who we are. Even when we were Demon Lords people looked down on us. What the hell is up with that!?"

She was fuming at this point, Negi wouldn't have been surprised if steam started coming out of her hair.

"Well, we're still technically Demon Lords. Nobody has actually beaten us and we've never rescinded the titles either." Negi stated in an attempt to calm her down.

"You're not helping!" She glared at him. "It's your fault that nobody takes us seriously. What kind of Demon Lord apologizes to people?"

"Hey, being a Demon Lord is no excuse for being rude to others!" Negi defended himself.

After staring at him in shock for a few seconds, Evangeline sighed and left the room with a "Why do I even bother."

"Well, at least she calmed down. I don't look forward to training though." He sighed, moving on to yet another stack of paperwork. It was going to be a long day.

Eastern Side of the 7 digit communities-

Four groups of individuals arrived here at separate times to meet up with each other.

The first to arrive was a certain no name trio.

"It's been a long time since I've been to the east side." Arthur said as he raised his arm to stretch it.

"Not sense that small scale restaurant community held their game." Byakko commented, doing his own stretches.

"Kait Lemon." Hayate said.

"Kate Lemon?" Byakko asked, clearly confised."

"The community's name was Kait Lemon, they're a 6 digit community now." Hayate reiterated his answer.

"I'm hungry now." Byakko laughed, soft rubbing his stomach.

"Does Six Scars sound good?" Arthur asked, eyeing their flag a short distance away.

"Sounds great." Byakko chuckled. "Their waitresses are really cute."

"I wonder what Sylvia would say to that." Arthur laughed, an evil smirk plastered onto his face.

"Who do you think introduced me to the place?" Byakko laughed, already knowing what Arthur was scheming. "She went on and on about how adorable their uniforms are."

"Seriously?" Arthur asked, dumbfounded.

"Seriously." Byakko answered, his smile never fading.

Arthur simply sighed in defeat. "Let's go eat."

The second group to arrive was the ladies group.

"What should we do in the meantime?" Sylvia asked.

"Well, I need to pick up a few cleaning supplies while I'm here." Mikan said, looking around for a store that sold cleaning supplies.

"I need to pick up a few more bandages and some antiseptics as well." Hina said, similarly looking for a medical store.

"Elle[See note 1] asked me to pick up a few seeds for her as well." Claire added, also trying to find a store that would carry plant seeds.

"I'll guess we'll do a little shopping before we meet up. It's a decent way to gather information from the locals as well." Sylvia said, leading the other three through a small shopping district.

The third group to arrive was the guys group.

"I wonder where the inn we're staying at is supposed to be." Roland mumbled as he looked around for the inn's sign.

"I wonder what it's like." Lance said. "I hope it has hot springs."

"Yeah, a nice long soak sounds really good right now." Roland agreed.

Dominic, as quiet as ever, simply nodded his head in agreement.

The three of them continued in their search of the inn, failing to notice that they passed right by it.

The final group to arrive was Negi and Evangeline, with an unwilling Elle in tow.

"Honestly, do you think only you get the liberty of staying home." Evangeline asked the despondent Elle, who simply frowned.

"Now now, it's no good if you just stay in your tree all the time. You have to go out and interact the world everyone in a while." Negi said, trying to coax the dryad into talking to people more often.

"…don't wanna…" Elle said, completely ignoring Negi's advice.

"If you insist, then I'll just have to order you to do so. Our contract is still in effect." Negi smirked.

"…ugh…" Elle had completely forgotten about their contract. Negi had agreed to train her in the arts of magic as long as she listened to his instructions. Meaning her could give her orders as long as it didn't violate the terms of the contract.

"You can read over the contract later, but this isn't a violation of the contract. Besides, your father was the one who asked me to get you used to society. You can't avoid this forever." Negi said, bluntly stating the facts so that Elle couldn't run away.

"…fine…" Elle grumbled, her frown growing larger by the second.

"Don't worry, I won't force you to do too much, we can take this slowly for now. I'll give you some kind of reward if you do well." Negi stated.

Elle's ears perked up when she heard the word reward.

"Let's see, how does some high-quality fertilizers sound for your first reward?" he asked her.

Her eyes were sparkling so much he didn't even need an answer, but she nodded emphatically anyway. He might've been mistaken, but he swore he saw a little drool on the corner of her lips.

"With that settled, let's get going. We shouldn't make her wait too long." Negi chuckled.

"That'd be a sight to see." Evangeline chuckled as well.

Only Elle sat there trying to figure out what was so funny.

Outside of a certain Thousand Eyes store, a stern shopkeeper was diligently sweeping the ground in front of the entrance to the shop.

As soon as the shopkeeper saw the approaching guests, she quickly turned around, attempting to retreat into the store. She was called to as soon as she turned around.

"Oi, what kind of store ignores its valuable customers?" Evangeline asked, veins pooping up on her forehead.

"Customers?" The shopkeeper asked, pretending to look around. "I don't believe we have any costumers present; Just some [No Names] standing around the entrance. Last I checked, we don't associate with such people.

"Quite the mouth you grown since I last saw you. Exactly who do you think your talking to you little brat?" Evangeline snapped back.

"Just a few worthless [No Names] trying to enter a store they have no business being in." the storekeeper shot back.

"Even when we have an invitation from the Floor Master?" Negi asked, with puppy dog eyes.

The storekeeper hesitated for a second after seeing his face but quickly regained her composure. She simply held out her hand, waiting for the so called invitation.

"Tch, so annoying." Evangeline muttered, handing the invitation to the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper sighed and with an exasperated "Very well." opened the door to the shop.

"Thank you!" Negi said, flashing his trademark gigolo smile at her.

"E-enjoy your stay." She managed to sputter out, attempting to hide the slight blush on her cheeks.

"I've still got it." Negi chuckled as he walked into the store, earning him an irate glare from Evangeline who walked beside him. Elle quietly followed after them, unsure of what to do in such a tense atmosphere.

"Well, well, well. I thought I heard a couple of familiar voices assaulting my shopkeeper." A familiar voice appeared above them on the second floor.

"Hmph, it's not my fault she turned into such a prude." Evangeline remarked. She looked towards Negi and the rephrased her sentence. "Well, maybe prude isn't quite right." She smirked.

"I'll have to ask you not to do that anymore. She's too valuable to lose over something so trivial." The descending loli stated.

"It's been a long time hasn't it, Demon Lord of the White Night." Evangeline laughed.

"What a peculiar greeting." Shiroyasha smile, folding her fan in the process. "I shall return it in kind, Demon Lord of Darkness."

"Ha ha ha ha, I haven't been called that in quite a while. It's rather refreshing." Evangeline chuckled.

"What about you?" Shiroyasha asked Negi.

"Just my name is fine, thank you." He said while scratching his cheek.

"What? You don't like you title of Demon Lord of Destruction?" Shiroyasha asked, already knowing the answer.

"Well then, Fake Loli Shiro-chan, how's the scouting going?"

"Geh, you know I hate when you call me that." She said as she pretended to throw up.

"I know." He smiled. "So how goes the scouting?"

"I'm not surprised you figured out the true meaning behind the GIFT Game, Fake Teenager Negi-chan." Shiroyasha shot back.

"No one would take me seriously in my true form, so I don't have much of a choice in the matter." Negi stated.

"You know I have my reasons as well." She stated flippantly. "Though that may very well change in the near future." She stated, her voice much more serious than usual.

"I take it their making there move?" Negi asked.

"Come." She said, leading the trio to her private room. "I'm afraid the dryad has to wait outside. This is confidential."

"Sorry, but can you wait in the lobby." Negi instructed the confused dryad. "I'll buy you a snack later."

Still confused, the shy dryad went down to the lobby to wait for her companions.

"Now then." Shiroyasha continued, the usual flippant tone was nowhere to be found. She was being completely serious, something she rarely showed to others. "It's not definite, but they'll most likely make their move during the Harvest Festival, and on more than one front."

"I see." Negi said, rubbing his chin in thought. "What do you plan to do?" he asked her, running multiple possible simulation in his head.

"I'll use the opportunity to find my replacement." She said, a hint of melancholy in her voice.

"You're going to retire?" Negi asked, cocking his eyebrow in surprise. "This is much more serious than I thought."

"That damned dragons been multiplying like a rabbit lately. It's becoming too much for the other communities to handle." Shiroyasha sighed. "This isn't something I can continue to ignore or let someone else handle anymore."

"Who are you going to ask to replace you?" Negi asked.

"I doubt he'll accept it, but I'm looking for the Saurian Demon King, Kouryuu." Shiroyasha stated, releasing another sigh. "What about you? Are you going to join the fight this time as well?" she asked him in return.

"Shouldn't that be obvious? She may not be with us right now, but that bastard is still chasing after her. I won't allow anyone to harm my friends." Negi spat out.

"Hoo~ You don't usually show your anger this openly boya." Evangeline chuckled.

"I'm almost jealous of your friends Negi-chan." Shiroyasha said, smiling a little.

"What are you talking about? Aren't you one of those friends Shiro?" Evangeline chuckled.

"Am I?" she asked, her smile growing ever wider. "Will you join me?"

"We'd go with you even if you told us not to." Evangeline chuckled, clearly enjoying the atmosphere.

"I need to look for our little Shiro anyway. We need a clue and one of those bastards is bound to know something."

"Good. Ah, that's right. Send your young one to Underwood to attend the Harvest Festival. I don't know what'll happen, but I doubt the demons will pass up such a big chance." Shiroyasha said.

"Any idea what they're after?" Negi asked.

"Not a clue, but in the end it doesn't really matter. We just have to stop them before they achieve whatever it is they're up to." Shiroyasha stated.

"What generation are we after?" Negi asked.

"I'm not sure about the others but at least seven second generations have already been confirmed. Besides that, there's over a hundred more from different generations." Shiroyasha sighed.

"That'll be tough for just you." Evangeline commented.

"It's not like I was going to fight them alone in the first place. But with you two accompanying me, I can send the rest to others area's just in case something happens there as well." Shiroyasha said.

"Before we were sealed, we managed to trim him down to just a few second and third generations. How long has he been in hiding?" Negi inquired.

"Ever since he was sealed beneath Salamandra." She sighed. And worse yet is that he had kept a few first generations in hiding as well. I don't know the exact numbers, but it's more than a handful, at least nine of them."

"That's not good. We need to destroy them as soon as possible or we'll never get rid of them." Evangeline sighed as well.

"We don't know when or where they'll attack, so all we can do is wait until they make their move."

"So we play the waiting game huh?" Negi also sighed.

Three Weeks Later-

Underwood-

"It feels odd going to a festival with everyone." Byakko commented.

"A few of us usually had to stay behind to watch the grounds, so it's not really all that odd." Roland chuckled.

"I'd say the biggest surprise is Elle coming along with us." Mikan said, joining in on the conversation.

"No kidding. We've invited her every time but she always turned us down." Sylvia commented.

"I heard Negi-kun offered her a reward if she went to the festival with us." Hina added in.

"What, that's no fair. I want a reward for this too!" Mikan shouted.

"I think the offer is exclusive to Elle. She wouldn't leave the grounds if she didn't have some kind of incentive. You on the other hand…" Sylvia chuckled.

"Hey! That's not fair. I want a reward from Negi-kun too~" Mikan pouted.

"Ooh~ From Negi-kun huh?" Sylvia said, a slight grin adorning her face. "You hear that guys~ Mikan wants a reward from Negi-kun~"

"T-that's not what I meant!" Mikan protested, her face turning crimson in the process.

"I know, I know. I'm just teasing you." Sylvia laughed. "What about you Claire? You want a reward from Negi-kun as well?"

"W-w-wha?" Claire responded, flustered from the sudden attention.

"Don't give me that, I saw the look in your eyes the other day. A maiden in love~" Sylvia chuckled.

"I-i-i-i-it's n-not like that…" Claire stammered out.

"Does Claire love Negi-kun?" Mikan asked, her voice brimming with curiosity.

"N-no!" Claire yelled, raising her voice without realizing it, earning a few curious stares from the bystanders. "Ah…" she yelped after realizing what she had done. A few tears began forming in the corners of her eyes.

"Ah, look at the Mikan, you made her cry." Sylvia snickered. She was promptly smacked in the back of the head.

"Who the hell do you think…" she yelled as she quickly spun around but stopped as she saw serious look in Byakko's eyes. "Ah, sorry, my bad."

"Good." Byakko said as he rubbed the back of her head where he smacked her, earning a soft purr from her.

"Did she just purr?" Lance asked, confused from the unexpected noise.

"Is there a problem with that?" Byakko shot him a death glare.

"No, no, not at all. I just didn't expect it. That's all." He quickly backed down.

"Alright, alright. Let's go check into our inn and then we'll split up and look around the festival." Arthur said, trying to bring some order into this group.

Thirty Minutes Later-

Outside of their inn-

"Alright, so we'll meet back her around 7:00 before splitting off again. Make sure at least one of your group members has a way of contacting the others." Arthur said, looking over a small scrap of paper listing out the groups.

The first time they split was with their usual pairings. Arthur, Hayate and Byakko went around to all the small stalls that were offering GIFT Games involving classic festival games like 'Ring Toss' and 'Shoot the Target.' Mikan, Sylvia, Hina, Claire and Midori went around the shopping district stall, looking at various articles of clothing. Roland, Lance and Dominic went around the food stalls sampling all the different food.

The Gaming Group

"How about we try the Ring Toss again? I think I can win it this time." Byakko said, eager for a rematch.

"That's what you said last time. You weren't even close to winning. Besides, I don't think anyone can beat Hayate when it comes to these things." Arthur sighed, both at Byakko's attitude and his chances of beating Hayate at any of the festival stalls.

"I'll never know if I don't try." Byakko muttered.

"You have tried. And Failed. Repeatedly." Arthur droned out.

"I'll never win if I give up!" Byakko pressed onward.

"If you say so." Arthur sighed, completely giving up.

As they were talking, Hayate won first prize at both Goldfish Scooping and Skee Ball.

The Shopping Group

"Hmm, would I look better in blue or silver? Maybe black? Perhaps Red?" Sylvia muttered as she looked at several different tank tops.

"Hina~ What do you think about this one?" Mikan asked her couldn't-care-less-about-fashion friend.

"Uh…it looks good?" she answered, not really knowing what to say.

"Oh come one, you could at least try!" Mikan huffed. "It seems it time to put you through a crash course in fashion."

"N-no. That won't…" Hina quickly said, but it was already too late. With astounding speed, Mikan was already dragging Hina into the back of the store before the other even knew what was happening. "…be necessary."

"I think the color green really suits you Elle." Claire said excitedly, picking out a multitude of clothes for Elle to try on.

"…if you say so…" she answered, simply staring at the mountain of clothes now sitting in her hands.

The Food Group

"Where should we start?" Roland asked.

He glanced at Dominic, but his eyes were too busy darting across all the food stalls.

"How about we start with the cotton candy? And moves counter-clockwise from there?" Lance said, pointing to the cotton candy stand.

"Sounds good to me, what about you Dominic?" Roland asked.

Dominic glanced between his companions and the stalls several time before he gave them a thumbs up.

-At the Cotton Candy stand-

"I give it a seven." Roland said.

"A solid six." Lance said.

"Three" Dominic said.

"As strict as ever I see." Roland laughed.

"Just make sure you don't say that in front of the stall owner." Lance warned him.

-At the Candy Apple stand-

"Too much sugar, a four." Roland said, reluctantly eating the rest of the apple.

"Yeah, it's overkill, a four as well. The only plus side is the apple." Lance commented.

"Terrible. Two." Dominic said, his current face could give children nightmares.

-At the corndog stand-

"Oh, this is really good; it's just the right temperature. Easily an eight." Roland said, slowly chewing on the corndog as he did so.

"Your right, its crispiness is perfect. It practically melts in your mouth. A nine." Lance said, enjoying the crispy texture.

"Outstanding. Seven." Dominic said.

"Wow, that's a good rating coming from you." Lance commented.

"It really is. I'll tell the others about the one.

7:00 In front of their inn-

"Alright, that's everyone." Arthur said after quickly confirming everyone was there. "I'm sure you all eager to split off into your own groups, but don't forget why we're here. With that said, let's go!"

Arthur, along with Roland, Lance and Claire went to watch the fighting venues that were being held during the festival.

Byakko and Sylvia went out on a date with each other.

Hayate and Elle went to go look at the various plants that the area was known for.

Mikan, Hina and Dominic went to the food preparation area to talk with members of other communities and exchange recipes with one another.

Meanwhile, at their community headquarters-

The atmosphere here was tense. The grounds were quiet, eerily so. Hardly any noise could be heard from inside the compound.

Negi was performing what appeared to be some kind of dancing maneuver. At least that was how it looked to outsiders. What he was really doing was practicing his various martial arts techniques. His movements were just so smooth and natural that it appeared like a dance to those unfamiliar to martial arts.

Evangeline was in the library reading through several books regarding demon, most notably the bastard dragon that they'd soon be fighting. She was also going through her old spell tomes to see if any of her older spells would be useful.

After taking a shower after his training, Negi was sitting in the living room reminiscing about the past. His thoughts drifted between his time 3-A to his work on the space elevator, then to the time he was summoned to Little Garden alongside Evangeline. His memory took him to the founding of the community with Evangeline, Arthur, Hayate and Byakko; then to his first meeting with Canaria and some of her alliance members. Finally, to the first time he met Shiro.

"What are you thinking about so seriously boya?" Evangeline asked, walking into the living room carrying a tray of tea.

"You're cute face when you get embarrassed~" he joked.

Evangeline froze, her face a brilliant crimson, before she caught herself and the tea she almost dropped. "I see you're in the mood." She paused, "To die."

"I think I'll save that for another night." He chuckled. "I was reminiscing about the past. I was thinking about the first time we met Shiro when you walked in."

"Not a very nice memory was it. That was the day you earned that title you hate so much. The Demon Lord of Destruction."

AN: And so ends another chapter. For as long as it took me to write it, I'd have thought it would be better, but in the end it was just kind of jumbled together. Though that's probably because I wrote it bits and pieces at a time, instead of all at once like I normally do.

Anyway, please review, it really does motivate me to write more. Criticism is welcome. How would I ever improve I no one told me what I was doing wrong?

Also, please follow/favorite if you enjoyed it and haven't already.

I feel like I'm forgetting something, but I can't recall anything… oh well.

Until next time~
