Chapter 4
~~~Flashback~~~
It was a beautiful afternoon, when Haruka and Zero was having a peaceful teatime in the garden. Kaname had to go back to his room to finish his homework. He was furious but when he found out that his study room looks directly down to the garden, he agreed and return to his room immediately.
Zero was enjoying his milk tea happily. It has been such a long time since he last sat down and slowly drinking something he loves so much like this
Seeing Zero drank his tea in small gulps like a little squirrel, Haruka looked at him with his adoring eyes. Zero is so cute! He just wanted to hold this man in his arms and love him senselessly.
- " Haruka, why aren't you drinking your tea? It's getting cold!" - Zero lifted his head, looked directly at Haruka and asked
- " Don't worry, I will heat it up right away" - Haruka smiled gently at Zero, which made Zero blushed
Haruka saw the blush on Zero's face. Suddenly, he had a wild, crazy, hopeful guest in his mind
- " Zero, a...are you blushing?" - Haruka asked shyly
- " No...I...I...just..." - Zero was stuttering
- " Don't hide it Zero! I saw it" - Haruka got up and catch Zero's hand - "Could it be...Could it be...you have feelings for me?" - his voice was full of hope
- " Haruka...I...I..." - Zero was trying to get away but couldn't. Haruka's grip was too strong, as if he was using his Pureblood power
- " Please, tell me Zero!" - Haruka plead - " I need to know, please!"
Zero's eyes widened. Could it be...
- " Yes I like you Haruka!" - Zero said, almost shout out. His face was blushing furiously - " I like you! I really like you! Ever since the first time we met!"
Haruka couldn't believe what he was hearing. His most beloved, his secret love, his angel...loves him
- " I love you, Zero! I love you! I'm madly in love with you, Zero!" - Haruka holds Zero tightly - " You don't know how love I've been wanting to say this! It must be a dream!"
Zero was shock. Haruka...loves him?
Zero smiled in happiness. Suddenly, he remembered something:
- " We can't! You...You can't do this Haruka!" - Zero pushed Haruka away - " You...You already have Juri and...and Kaname...I...We..."
- " It does'nt matter, Zero!" All I need is your love, then I can take you away, not worrying about anything else!" - Haruka shouted out
- " I...I...Haruka...I..." - Zero hesitated
- " You don't have to worry about anything, Zero. All you have to do is look at me and let me protect you! I will do anything so that we can have a happy life. Even if I have to get divorced and leave my son, I will di it!"
- " It's just not fair to them, Haruka!" - Zero looked down to his feet while pushing Haruka away - " You...You've already had a happy family and...your wife and..and your son love you...the...they love you!"
- " BUT I LOVE YOU, ZERO! - Haruka shouted out loudly - " For God's sakes, I love you more than anything! I can even give my life to you if you want!" - saying that, Haruka's sharp nails started to grow and he put his hand on his left chest, right at the heart
- " No, please stop! - Zero ran to him and held his hand - "I understand Haruka! I understand so please stop!" - Zero cried, holding Haruka
Haruka tightened the hug. He buried his head inside Zero's neck, inhaling Zero's unique fresh and clean scent. Oh how he loves Zero's scent. In this world which is filled with chaos and blood, his Zero is the most beautiful and the cleanest existence.
They kept hugging each other like that, not noticing a pair of angry furious red eyes looking at them through the windows.
Although Kaname agreed to get back to his room but he did not promise that he would do his homework. Instead, he kept loong out of the windows and watching his "father" and his beloved talking in the garden happily.
Kaname was angry. If he had been the powerful Kaname in the past, fully grown, then he could have Zero in his arms right now.
Look at his beloved: long shining silver hair flying in the air, lavender eyes shone brightly under the moonlight, pinkish lushy lips lightly smiled as he took a sip from his teacup.
The only thing that Kaname did not like about the scene was Haruka. The place that his "father" was sitting, oppisite to his beloved was supposed to be HIS!
Suddenly, he saw a scene that he had a feeling that he would not like it.
Zero blushed. Because of something Haruka said.
What the hell is Haruka doing?
What are they doing?
With his sharp ears, Kaname heard something that he despise the most and filled with jealousy:
- " Yes I like you Haruka!" - he heard his beloved said - " I like you! I really like you! Ever since the first time we met!"
At this point, Kaname could not hold in his anger anymore. His eyes widened furiously and turned into blood-red colour. He push everything off his study table, and tried to scream his heart out but he could not.
...Mine!...HE IS MINE! HOW COULD HE...!
Kaname clutched his head as he looked at the scene right before his eyes. Eyes glowing redder and redder, until it shone a bright red colour. He gritted his teeth, his body shook furiously
- " Haruka...Haruka...Just wait...! I will show you what it takes when you snatch my beloved away from me...! Zero...Zero...Zero...My beloved...be patient, soon you will return to my arms again and believe it, nothing can take you away from me anymore...!"

Zero flinched and woke up. He slowly got up and looked around to see he was alone in the bed. It seemed that Kaname had an urgent problem coming up since he would never leave the bed earlier than Zero. Carefully rubbed his belly and got out of bed, Zero bit his lips, looking at down at his swollen belly. It was only two months, so it was not that clear to see. He sighed out loud as he walked towards his favorite spot: the lying sofa near the glass windows.
Depite being a vampire, Zero adores the sunlight. He always thought that the bright shining sunlight can help him purify his soul as a vampire. However, he could not deny the fact that he would forever be a Pureblood, which means he could not stay under the sun for too long.
His gaze moved to the scene outside the window. Kaname had casted a spell, creating a barrier that only the people inside the room can look outside but the outsider would not know and could not look inside.
There were two students outside, they belong to the Day Class. A boy and a girl. A boy was scratching his head nervously while the girl blushed. It seemed that the boy or the girl had confessed his/her feeling to the other and is waiting for an answer. Then the boy bowed down, saying his apology. The girl's eyes tear up as she ran away
"How nice...can choose who he wants and does not want to be with..." - Zero thought as he watched the boy. Then remembering about his situation right now, Zero lowered his head.
He did not believe, he did not want to believe, that the little Kaname in the past, always clinging to him, is now the King of Vampires and a possessive monster. That man, in order to get what he wants, he could do anything, even...even destroying his family...
Then he remembered Haruka, his gentle lover whom he loved with all his heart and their child..that poor little daughter...Kaname had spared her, let her live but no one knows where she is or what is she doing right now, maybe...maybe she had...
No. She would still be alive, Zero knew it for sure since he knew Kaname was a man of his words. If he had promised to let her live, then she would live.
Zero tightened his hand on his belly. "One hit...Only one hit...then this child will..." - Zero nervously bit his lips. This child, he does not want at all. Zero eyes started to widen as he press his hand harder on the belly
"No! What was I doing...I can't...this child...this child is innocent!" - Zero woke up from his thought - "No! I was a monster! How can I think like that!"
Zero collapsed to the sofa, feeling extremely confused and scared right now. He did not know what to do!
- " Haruka...Haruka...please..! Please tell me what to do! I'm lost...I'm lost...!" - Zero silently cried
Yuuki Kuran carefully approached the enormous wooden doors. She knew that Kaname was out of the castle today and would probably not come back soon, so she had the guts to go to this place. From a far, she could already feel the powerful aura of Kaname's power. However, she was not the Queen of Vampires for nothing.
Summon her weapon: Artemis - a scythe, she used all her power to waived it and hit the barrier. Unfortunately, Kaname's power was far more stronger than hers, the barrier stood still, not being damaged. Yuuki widened her eyes.
She tried again, this time even stronger, more powerful. It seemed that luck was on her side this time, a crack appeared on the barrier. Yuuki smiled in victory.
She hit the barrier again. This time, the barrier cracked open a hole, big enough for one person to pass through. Yuuki released Artemis and hurriedly ran through the hole.
At the same time, Kaname was in the Meeting Room, impatiently looking at Elders from the Vampire Order.
Today was his day off, he only wanted to stay inside his sanctuary with Zero - his love then suddenly, Seiren came and informed him that the Elders were waiting for him in the Meeting Room as they wanted to talk about an important matter. Kaname almost lost it and destroy the Order, but then he restrained himself as he knew that he still need them. Furiously, he got out of bed but tried to be as quiet as possible since he did not want to wake Zero up. Thinking about Zero had made him loosen up a bit, a smiled appeared on his lips. After getting dressed, he lowered down and kissed Zero on the forehead then reluctantly got out of the Chamber
When he arrived, all the Elders had shown up. He calmly walked to his seat and sit down, gesture them to talk.
His mood at that time was not that down that much. But then after having heard one of the Elder mentioned what the matter was, he just wanted to shut the man up forever, and he did
- " What did you just say?" - Kaname shouted out
Silence
- " Don't make me repeat myself again. . .SAY?" - Kaname grunted every words
- " Ka...Kaname-sama...you understand it too, right? You are the King, and the King always need and heir or two...but you have acceded and married for too long, yet there was no heir to be born..."
- " NONSENSE!" - Kaname screamed
- " But Haruka-sama, only after two years becoming the King, he had you alrea..." - the Elder did not got a chance to finish his sentence, his head was cut off
- " How dare you! No one is ever allowed to talk about him in front of me! He died! He is already DEAD!" - Kaname screamed furiously
Why? Why is that everyone still remember that man? He is dead! The throne, Zero, everything is his right now!
Silence casted upon the room again.
Kaname breathed out heavily. Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine. This only happen when something bad is going to happen to him or his mate. He is safe and sound in here, which means his mate is in trouble and by saying "his mate", clearly he did not mean Yuuki. That means the one is in trouble is...
Zero!
When everyone in the room still not knowing what happened to their King, Kaname had already turn into hundred black bats and flew away
Zero exhaustedly lying in the bed. The baby in his womb had consumed too much of his power, it means he or she is definitely a Pureblood.
Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine
Kaname had forced Zero into a Blood bond, which means no matter who he or Zero married and run anywhere, they would still be mates for eternity, the could also feel and find each other. A chill...it means that Kaname is in trouble?
Suddenly, Zero felt so worried. No matter what Kaname did to him, he cannot deny the fact that they are mates and being a traditional man he was, mates were meant to look out for each other. Zero had the urge of going to where Kaname was right at that moment.
Little did he know, the one who was in trouble was him
Yuuki got into the Chamber. Her eyes widened
White. Pure
That was her first impression of this place
Behind those enormous wooden doors was a room, a garden planted with white lilies to be exact. The moment she stepped in here, she felt as if her soul was purify. Strangely, a feeling of nostalgia hit her
As if I have seen this somewhere before...
Looking aroung while wandering further inside, she had made a decision: after she chased whoever the bitch who was Kaname's lover out, she would take this room for her own.
After walking for a while, she spotted a big object.
Turned out it was a king-sized bed with everything white: the pillows, the blanket, the drap, the curtains, everything is white.
She also spotted a person was lying in it
Long silver hair, petite figure, pale smooth skin. So perfect
So this is Kaname's lover huh?
Yuuki walked closer and finally caught a glimpse of the person's face
She held her breath
Long eyelashes, small pointy nose, lustful red lips, porcelain skin...
So beautiful...
Suddenly, the person opened the eyes. At that moment, Yuuki thought she had finally seen a God.
A God of beauty, that is...
Those lilac eyes...they were so charming...and unique...which made Yuuki...
Gauge those eyes out so that "she" can never seduce anyone with them anymore!
But then, surprise hit her again
- " Yu...Yuuki...?" - the person called out
Wait! That was a man?
And how did he know my name?
Kaname flew as fast as he could to get back to his beloved's side. All the way, he could not rest his mind one single second
