Welcome back. Please don't kill me… I have cookies…. No? How about a new chapter?
Good… now that you have calmed down I wanted to explain something. I have noticed when I feel forced to write something I don't do it well. This being said I will finish this story but at my own pace; erratic as it may be.
Okay see you guys around.
RXR?
Note: Yes I changed the ending of the last chapter. Something about it just got on my nerves. Anywho here you go.
Have you ever woken up with everything hurting? Like your muscles have all decided to snap and every bone in your body is slamming into every nerve it can touch? Like every single cell in your body all exploded at the same time, intent on killing you from the inside out? That is the only way you could describe the horrid pain flowing through Kid's body. Everything just hurt. Even opening his eyes caused him to flinch.
So when the mid-morning red of the sun decided to filter through the windows he was put out the incessant pain. He closed his eyes again seeing no reason to bother keeping them open. Without his body healing he would just be worthless. A small breath next to him however changes his opinion…

My eyes snap open at the sound thinking that somehow Patti had decided but would be fun to get another hell hound puppy. Honestly we already have a fleet of them down in the gardens. At this point we could close down the taxation system and live off the money from breeding them.
However as I look over expecting to see half of my bed on fire*. My body forces a deep inhalation; ironically causing more pain.
Maka's face is illuminated in a reddish orange glow of the early morning sun. The window cast a shadow across her face while her beautiful ash blonde hair glows in a fiery river. Her breathing is soft and even though she is above the covers her body heat is still seeping towards me. The beauty of the moment is not lost on me and I cannot help but trace the back of my hand along her cheek admiring the human way her face shows a smile, even in her dreams.
I am busy contemplating on what exactly is appropriate to do in this situation when the door handle rattles. I remove my hand in time for a servant to quietly wander in. Her head is down and she is struggling to open the door with her hands full with a tray. When she finally gets in she catches the door with her foot so it doesn't slam.
"I appreciate your silence." The poor girl jumps in surprise but seems not to notice Maka sleeping soundly next to me. I'm sure if she had the castle would be abuzz with rumors by now.
"I'm so sorry sir. I-I didn't know you were awake. Y-you see I'm just a kitchen girl sent to bring up lunch for you when you woke up and I-" The girl was shaking like a leaf and in turn as was the silver tray and the dishes on it. The chiming sound rang thought out the room. Maka's still sleeping.
"Put it down." The girl squeaked at my command and set the tray on a nearby tea cart. She returned back to her previous position still shaking and wringing her hands. "Notify Deumos that I am awake and Morphus if you can find him."
"But I'm just a Kit-" I glare at the girl stopping her midsentence. She "eep"s before nodding and leaving the room in a hurry. As soon as I hear her footsteps retreat down the hall I instantly lean over Maka inspecting her for injuries. The destroyed gown is still hanging off in shreds. Her hair is matted down and covered in dust and what looks like mud. As a matter of fact she's covered in it, from her head to her legs. Her lovely long-
I startle hearing that part of me. It has been years since it has surfaced. He just laughs from his place leaning on the bed. More relaxed and dressed in an all-white suit he is nearly an exact copy really, perfect down to that damn symmetry ruining stripe, however, instead of my eyes there are just black soulless pupils. Just lying there completely-
"What are you doing here?" I hiss, he just shrugs. I shake my head clear from the lewd thoughts, attributing my weakness to the madness on my weakened state. However, I must admit… the voice has a point.
However before I can think further on that the subject of it shifts to roll on her side facing me. This side is equally as dirty, it has dried streaming down the side of her leg. As I look closer the mud here seems redder than elsewhere… I move to brush it off to have it crumble in my hand as it flakes off in a distinct reddish brown color… the color of dried blood.
She's hurt! Where is her wound has it been treated yet?
Of course not why would she still be dressed in that if she had.
They must have mistaken it for the dirt and missed it. She could really be hurt.
You're right you better undress her. You need to see how much damage has been done. He grins evilly.
Right check for wounds- I pause with my hand hovering behind her neck at the corseted strings holding her dress together. Suddenly noticing what the madness was doing and shoot him a glare. He is breathing on his nails and rubbing them on his jacket as nonchalantly as possible, which is ruined by an evil smile. I sigh and debate a bit longer but he does have a point…
I reach toward the strong on her back as I lean over her. She moves slightly to adjust the pillow she is currently cuddling. The madness hovers over her with fake adoration on his face. Look how cute and innocent. After you check her for wounds you could-
"Go. Away." I pull the string and the back loosens. Maka doesn't sir.
He feigns a pained face. Oh I'm so hurt! Making me leave at the best part.
I glare at him with a look that can send Liz running and tripping Patti to fall behind her. Whatever, but you know…
He leans materialized next to Maka holding her behind in a grip she can't feel but I can still see. He whispers in her ear while looking directly at me. You'll never really be alone.
He fades out and I have to resist the urge to burn the spot he just occupied. The girl below makes another small noise as she breathes out. She is having sweet dreams it would seem. I exhale slowly wishing Deumos would show herself soon. But she may not have the time to wait…
With a sigh I hook my fingers around the neckline of her destroyed dress. No straps wrap around her shoulders and I sigh fidgeting a bit. No undergarments. Excellent. Whatever happened to modestly.
Says the man stripping an unconscious guest in his home.
With a deep breath I rationalize it to myself. She needs the help. I will just check her for wounds, treat any that I find and pull-
*cough* off the rest of her clothing. *cough*
Yes and pull off-… I said to leave!
My, my aren't we loosening your grip on me. Finally decide to let me run free for a while? You could use it you stiff.
I don't have time for this. With a small tug her dress is bunched into my hands a bit. It's still covering her but is showing ample amounts of her small chest. Gods Deumos… where are you?!
I run my hand though my hair in an annoying habit I seem to have picked up from Morphus. With a deep breath I start to count. I can't put this off any longer she may be seriously hurt.
….One
I slide my fingers into the sides of her dresses neckline.
…Two
I close my eyes and take a deep breath.
…Three
I yank down just as the door opens.

Her bed was moving… she didn't like it very much. Partially awake she thought to herself what was the harm in going back to sleep? She rolled over and held the pillow tighter. She could hear a low voice but it was not directed at her so she happily ignored it.
After the day's events… or what it night's? In any event after the time she had suffered though she deserved more rest. As she rode out of the war zone, covered in blood and sweat she had to support Kid on the way back to the castle. Compared to the horse she rode this was like riding a wild tornado. The horse's hooves slammed on the ground sending off sparks as the landscape flew by.
The manor's point came into view as Bronte charged on. The closer they got the more Maka realized how tired she was getting. After all… it had been a very long day.
Recognizing the flaming blue horse the guards swung the city gates open hoping to get a glimpse at the beloved royal. However, much to their dismay the horse flashed through as a white and blue blur. The citizens that were still wandering around at this late hour were smart enough to hear the thundering hooves that roared like a storm and gladly got out of the way.
The two "young" adults rode this way all the way up into the stables at which case Bronte didn't know where else to go. He pawed impatiently from hoof to hoof hoping for someone to come and help his master. However, due to the late hour and unexpected arrival of the Prince no one came. Maka slid off the horse painfully. She ignored the stiffness and pulled Kid of in a very ungraceful manner. He landed in a heap that was barely help up by her.
She began to drag the boy inside when she met the horse's eye. It gazed around unsure of what to do. She paused for a brief second and then pointed at some grass. "Uh… good boy. Um… have some grass until someone comes to get you."
She continued to pull the beaten and battered boy into the castle struggling all the way. Shortly after they left the stable master appeared from the stables. "Huh, I thought I heard voices."
The storm horse neighed happily in the background eating the plush green grass from the garden. "Hey you stupid animal! Who told you that you could eat that?!"
The poor man would have to spend the rest of his night trying to think of an excuse for the head gardener.
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
"Why in the hell is no one up at this stupid place? Where are all the people who are here during the day?" The Prince was getting heavier every minute and she just didn't have the extra strength to drag a full grown man around when frankly she didn't even know where she was going.
"HELLOOOOO?! We kind of have an emergency here!" No answer. She growled in frustration and leaned against a nearby wall; lowering herself and Kid to the floor. She sat there for a while just contemplating her life and wondering where she would be right now if it weren't for that stupid kid.
A warm glow rounded a corner blinding Maka for a moment. "A battle? On our home ground? Is Chaos insane?"
The light dimmed as her eyes adjusted enough to identify the source as a lantern. Carrying said object was an older woman dressed in a nunnery outfit surprisingly. She was talking to an image that was reflecting out of her necklace. "Yes Deumos, I saw the young master at the start of the battle but I have not seen him since."
"How on earth will we find that boy?" Maka, who had apparently faded into the background coughed awkwardly to get the old woman's attention.
"Ello." Maka stated as the woman nearly passed them. Her eyes widened at the poor state of the girl and nearly popped out of her skull at the sight of the prince curled up in her lap like a cat. "It's kay he's just tired… me too."
"You poor dear! Are you hurt?" Maka quickly felt the weight of the boy lift off her lap and simply shook her head at the woman now carrying him as if he were an infant. "Well… let's at least get you two to a room so I can check you out."
That's not all you two need a room for. Maka growled irately at the bandaged girl's voice. In fact… I can describe everything you should be doing to that boy. Firstly-
Not now. I'm too tired for this shit.
Good point. Better wait until the morning when you two are fresh.
Maka's head silenced as the bandaged girl went to… wherever the hell she goes; leaving Maka to trudge behind the elderly woman wishing she was passed out and could have been carried too.
When they finally arrived at the closest room Deumos carefully laid her charge on the bed. Maka's head cocked to the side as the woman's hands began to glow red. She wearily looked at the other half of the bed wishing for sleep herself.
"The young Master will be fine. Just a bit exhausted." Deumos looked at the girl behind her who was barley on her feet and covered in blood. "Come child you lay down and let me get a look at you."
Maka wearily nodded and wandered to her side of the bed before flopping onto it. Deumos chuckled before running extensively through her body looking for every break and tear knowing full well that the little human girl would not heal like their prince. She paused when she reached the healing wound on her thigh before deciding it would be best left to heal on its own. Nodding in satisfaction the woman went to announce her, relatively, clean bill of health only to find the girl sleeping soundly.
'Well that's what I was going to suggest any; I don't see the harm in her staying here.' With that the faithful healing demon simply covered the prince and shut out the light before closing the door behind her.

She was pissed. Who in the hell wants to wake me up this early?
Maka twitched as she was poked in the chest and shaken once. I swear to god if Patti thinks this is funny she's going to have another thing coming.
The was a short time of peace where Maka almost drifted off again when a more instant tug came followed by the swinging of the doors. Cold air hit her chest and she instantly snapped awake and sat up. "Fucking Patti give me back my sheets!"
Taking a moment to acclimate herself she found her face inches away from the prince, topless, with a stunned Deumos in the door way, and Morphus rolling on the ground in laughter. The girl froze in horror with only one thing coming to mind.
"Wait Maka. I can ex-"
"MAKA CHOP!"

From the Diary of Patti
Oh dear I got to have so much fun today! Those icky black thingys that like Chaos so much decided it was time to attack Maka! Silly wraths. It didn't take long until we were rocketing away from them with Kid's magic. All though I will miss Ms. Twinkels… She was a soft and pretty horsey and now stupid Bronte pushed her too hard. Oh well, all things my die in the end right?
When Liz and I woke up again we were in the middle of another fight! Oooooo spooky! It was much more fun this time because we weren't trying to protect anyone! I just got to kill stuff as much as I wanted. But Lord Death kind of ruined it when he showed up… Although I saw Bronte running away with Kid and Maka on his back. He was like alllll over her! Tee Hee those two are so cute! Gotta go, there's this weird whimpering sound coming from Kid's room… Maybe he got me another hell hound puppy!
Cya,
Pat Pat
*half my bed on fire: well they are hell hounds, what did you expect?
Hahaha I missed writing. Well anyway, idk how frequent these will be but feel free to ask questions is I didn't explain something.
