The Lost Jedi

I don't own Naruto or Star Wars.

Naruto took a deep breath as he steered the ship through a tight canyon then put it inside a cave about twenty feet above the ground. He shut off the engines and went out of the cockpit.

"What's the plan?" asked Shae as Naruto passed by her.

"Years ago, Orochimaru found a compound that isn't from this world at the end of this canyon." explained Naruto as Shae followed him to the crew's bedrooms, "Kin told me the other night that Tayuya is there and she and I are going there tomorrow to find her."

Shae frowned at Naruto as he lied down and got some sleep. Elie walked in and Shae quickly took her out of the room.

"Something wrong, Mistress?" asked Elie.

"Listen, what I'm about to tell you can never be repeated to anyone." said Shae sternly as she stared into the Cathar's eyes, "Not even Naruto can know."

(The Next Day)

Naruto and Kin, wearing Jedi Robes and cloaks, were led into a small room, with R2 right behind them, by a droid and waited as the droid left to get drinks. They both removed their hoods and walked toward the far end of the room.

"I have a bad feeling about this." said Naruto.

"I don't sense anything." said Kin calmly.

"It's not about meeting my sister." explained Naruto, "It's just that I sense something elsewhere."

"I thought Jedi were taught to listen to the Living Force." said Kin.

"We are." said Naruto nervously.

Shae calmly made her way out of the vents of the compound with a particular holocron and hurried back to her ship. She rested behind a large rock about twenty meters away and looked at her prize.

"Now I just need to wait for Naruto to come out." she thought as she left when a large cannon came out from the rock face behind her.

Naruto and Kin both shot to their feet and drew a blue and red lightsaber respectively when they heard a loud boom. A white gas began filling the room and Naruto frowned.

"Artoo, get into a corner." ordered Naruto as he and Kin shut off their lightsabers and held their breath as the gas obscured their vision.

They waited for a moment before the doors opened and they turned their lightsabers on again with Naruto now holding his in a reverse grip of Shien. They fought their way out of the gas-filled room and cutting down the battledroids that were sent to get rid of them. Once the droids were all gone, Kin prepared to shut off her lightsaber when Naruto used the Force to stop her.

"How skilled are you in Shien?" asked Naruto.

"Enough to take care of these droids." replied Kin, "But what's going on?"

"Buir said there was a locked door about fifteen meters down the hall." explained Naruto.

"That's the armory." said Kin, "I was told that at least anyway."

"The plans she stole had what appeared to be a carbonite chamber against the wall." informed Naruto, "If someone's here, we need to get them out. Come on!"

They ran down the hall and R2 followed right behind. More droids had come and Naruto and Kin quickly dispatched them.

"Artoo, get that door open!" shouted Kin as she and Naruto continued holding off the droids.

R2 rushed to the door and extended one of his arms into a socket to get it open. Naruto had just finished cutting through three droids when R2 finally got the door open. Naruto went inside while Kin guarded the doorway and sure enough, there was a slab of carbonite with someone inside. Naruto went up along side and began the unfreezing process.

"Artoo, rewrite the security codes into Mando'a." said Naruto as he waited for the person to unfreeze.

"Naruto, destroyers!" shouted Kin.

Naruto rushed out of the armory as two droidekas rolled up and began firing while putting up a barely visible dome of energy around them.

"Artoo. lock the door until that girl wakes up!" shouted Naruto as the door to the armory closed behind him and Kin.

"Let's get to the hanger." said Kin as they continued to deflect the plasma bolts, "Go!"

They both used Force Speed and went down a side hall. The droids followed and soon lost sight of them.

Shae staggered into her ship and Elie rushed up to her.

"Are you okay, Mistress?" asked Elie in concern.

"Yeah." said the deeply breathing Shae, "I just had to dodge fire from a large cannon."

Shae went over to a safe and took several deep breaths before she opened it and put a glowing cube inside. Elie was mezmerised by it the moment she saw it but when the safe was closed, she snapped out of her trance and Shae changed the code to unlock it.

Naruto and Kin rushed into the hanger just as three people got on a small ship that Naruto knew wasn't big enough to hold a hyperdrive. He then looked at saw Tayuya standing several yards in front of him and Kin.

"Hello, sister." said Naruto calmly as Tayuya remained silent.

"She's skilled in Makashi and..." began Kin before Naruto rushed forward, "Naruto, no!"

Naruto jumped into the air and Tayuya shocked him with blood red Force Lightning. The force behind the attack sent Naruto flying into one of the stone walls and and Kin raised her lightsaber.

"Stay inside you three." said Tayuya as she and Kin circled each other, "I'll handle this."

She fired a burst of lightning at Kin but the younger girl blocked it.

"Please surrender, Tayuya." said Kin calmly.

Tayuya drew a curved hilt lightsaber and a pure white blade shot out of it. After a moment of silence, Kin stepped in with Soresu that was modified with small elements of Ataru while Tayuya fought with Makashi. Naruto began to stir just as Tayuya clipped Kin on her shoulder, making her drop her lightsaber, and then causing her to fall to the ground by cutting the muscles in her leg. Naruto grunted as he quickly switched his lightsaber into a reverse grip and jumped forward. He blocked Tayuya's killing blow to Kin and looked into his sister's eyes.

"I'm not going to kill you." said Naruto as Kin drew her lightsaber back to her.

"Naruto!" shouted Kin as she threw her lightsaber to Naruto.

He activated it the instant he caught it and caught Tayuya off guard with a flurry of Jar'Kai and Ataru. Tayuya quickly recovered and cut the red lightsaber, destroying it. Naruto backed over a large wire and cut it, plunging the section of the hanger he and Tayuya were in into complete darkness, save for the glow of their lightsabers. As they both stared at the other and readied, Naruto thought back to an old memory.

(Flashback)

Naruto took a deep breath as he took his shoto blade and closed his eyes. The little ball before him moved around the room and fired blaster bolts that Naruto easily deflected. However, one got through his defense and struck him in the right shoulder. Naruto grunted and dropped the lightsaber as the droid shut down.

"Are you alright?" asked Satele from the doorway.

"Yeah." said Naruto through slight pain.

He reached from his shoto but flinched again. Satele rushed over and checked to see that Naruto's shoulder had a slight burn. She quickly applied kolto and a bandage to it then began wrapping it up.

"Mother, do I have a sister?" asked Naruto curiously.

Satele suddenly froze at the question and this confused Naruto. He looked up at Satele's face and saw she was silently crying. She pulled the young boy into a hug and sobbed into his shoulder.

(End Flashback)

Naruto went forward and engaged Tayuya as that one memory echoed in his mind. They each continued exchanging blows but both came up short until Tayuya executed the Cho mok technique, severing Naruto's right arm from his shoulder. Naruto flinched and Tayuya Force Pushed him onto his back and causing him to slid onto the ground next to Kin. Tayuya turned off her lightsaber and took several deep breaths before she turned around at the sound of footsteps.

A woman in her mid to late twenties wearing a style of Jedi Robes that Naruto recognized as being ancient walked in and took a few breaths. She had shoulder length white hair and white eyes that were nothing like Neji's and Hinata's as she had a pupil in each. In her hand was a simple lightsaber.

"So, the great Jedi Exile graces us with her presence." said Tayuya calmly.

"Jedi Exile?" thought Naruto at the name.

The Exile took several deep breaths then looked at Naruto. She winked at him and Naruto's face turned pink. Tayuya grabbed one of the lighting fixtures with the Force and hurled it at the Exile. The Exile flicked her wrist and sent it into the wall. Tayuya repeated the move and the same thing happened again. Tayuya looked up at the ceiling and it began to crack then collapse on the Exile, who raised her arms over her head and stopped the rocks about three inches from her hands. They parted over the Exile then fell to the ground.

"You're master may have taught you a few things but that was three hundred years ago." said Tayuya as she fired a burst of Force Lightning.

The Exile blocked the skill with ease and sent it back at Tayuya, who redirected it.

"Tutaminis?" thought Naruto incredulously.

It continued on for a moment before Tayuya broke away and the Exile absorbed the rest of the lightning.

"It seems this contest cannot be decided by our skills in the Force." said Tayuya as she drew her lightsaber and activated it, "But by our skills with a lightsaber."

She gave a traditional Makashi salute and the Exile drew her lightsaber. The color of the blade was cyan that Naruto recognized as the same color as Satele's lightsaber. The Exile jumped forward and went into a very concentrated and fast paced version of Ataru that caught Tayuya completely off guard. The Exile bounced off the ship and locked blades with Tayuya.

"I look forward to seeing how well you can train my brother." thought Tayuya as she focused and began crushing one of the lesser important support beams of the room in order for it to fall on Naruto and Kin.

Tayuya broke off the attack and went into the ship as the Exile focused all her efforts on preventing the column from falling on the two children. She threw the beam against the wall and Kin helped Naruto to his feet.

"Thank you." said Kin as she looked at the Exile.

Naruto went up to the Exile as R2 entered and and drew his lightsaber back to him. He placed it next to his double-bladed one and took a good look at the Exile. He knelt down and hung his head.

"Master Surik." said Naruto.

"Not anymore." said the Exile, "I left the Jedi centuries ago."

Shae flew her ship in and rushed over to Naruto. She wrapped her arms around him and spoke to him in rapid Mando'a.

"So, now that we failed to get your sister back, what are we going to do about your arm?" asked Kin.

Naruto looked at his stump of an arm and took a deep breath.

(Several Days Later)

Shae watched through a window as about a dozen doctors and droids worked on Naruto's new arm.

"From your reputation, I didn't think you would take a son and a Jedi no less." stated Darth Malgus as he stepped out of the shadows, "Tell me, is he the same boy that I fought in the hanger of the Jedi Temple years ago?"

Shae remained silent and looked away from the window.

"I sense he is slowly being taken over by the Dark Side." commented Malgus in pleasure.

"That will never happen." said Shae, "He's starting to believe in something called Potentium."

Malgus laughed at this and turned away.

"That path will lead the Jedi to their own destruction." said Malgus as he headed to the door.

Shae just watched as everyone worked on Naruto's arm and hoped that Malgus wasn't right.
