The Birth of a Dark Lord

I don't own Naruto or Star Wars.

Satele sat in Minato and Kushina's old apartment across from Naruto and glared at him. After convincing Tsunade to return to the village as Hokage, Satele had forced Naruto to stay with her in Minato and Kushina's apartment so as to keep an eye on him.

"I'm not going to do anything stupid." said the other Naruto.

"Like I'd trust you with his body." said Satele in an edgy tone, "You'd probably go on a killing spree."

"Just go ahead and take away my fun." said the disgruntled Naruto, "Besides, even though I'm in control, he can still stop me at any time. He can still tell what's going on around him but he's too depressed and scared to do anything."

They both raised their heads and looked toward the window.

"I sense her too." said Satele as they both stood up.

They hopped out of the window and hopped from building to building while Naruto tossed Satele his new double-bladed lightsaber and she split it into two seperate ones.

Sasuke glared at each member of the Sound Four when Kidomaru grabbed his six red lightsabers and blocked the four that made to attack Sakon and Jirobo as well as himself.

"Well, looks like we've found ourselves some Jedi." said Kidomaru as he knocked them back.

Naruto looked at Tayuya, who was behind the others, and she closed her eyes.

"Leave that boy alone." ordered Satele.

"Or what?" asked Jirobo.

"Or else this." said Naruto as he flicked his wrist and everyone member of the Sound Four flew off to the side.

Naruto and Satele ran after them as the rest of the members drew their lightsabers and turned them on as well. Naruto handled Kidomaru and Tayuya while Satele took Sakon and Jirobo. Both Naruto and Satele went deeply into Soresu and were barely able to hold their own, Naruto having even more trouble as he was fighting someone with six arms. Naruto got into a blade lock with Tayuya and Kidomaru and Tayuya knocked Kidomaru back with a discreet Force Push.

"Vor'e." said Naruto as he kicked her away and went to fight Kidomaru with a mixture of Soresu and Djem So.

He pushed the man back as he sped up and managed to clip one of his arms.

"Damn it." growled Kidomaru.

"Retreat for now!" ordered Sakon as they all left and Naruto and Satele turned off their lightsabers.

Satele put the two she had back together and tossed it back to Naruto.

"Keep it." he said as he tossed it back to her, "He made it for you anyway. Besides, he's making me depressed so I'm going to have to go pay our respects."

Naruto hopped off into the village and Satele frowned as Lazarus appeared behind her.

"All the preparations are done." reported Lazarus.

"We'll leave in a few days." said Satele as she watched Naruto leave her line of sight, "Keep an eye on him."

Lazarus smiled and vanished.

(Twenty Minutes Later)

Naruto sat in the apartment Satele had been holding him prisoner in and stared at the urn holding Kin's ashes. R2 rolled up to him and beeped worridly.

"I'm fine, little buddy." said Naruto with a sad smile.

R2 pointed his projector at the table and began showing a small projection of Kin on the table.

"Naruto, if you're watching this, then it means that I'm gone." said the message, "Even though we started out as enemies, after that lunch we had, I could tell you were a great person. I know that you care deeply for Tayuya just as much as I do. To be honest, I'm actually starting to think of you as an older brother."

The hologram looked down and sighed.

"But that's not why I'm making this message." it said, "I'm making this because I've found out something. It's too dangerous to leave on this so I'm having Artoo tell it to you after this message is over. It's about the night yours and Tayuya's parents died. About what ROOT did or rather didn't do. It's too late for me. But as long as you are breathing, I know you'll do the right thing. I left something for you with Artoo and I know you'll put it to good use. Goodbye and tell Tayuya that I wish we could have spent more time together."

The message ended Naruto wiped a tear from his eye.

"You idiot." muttered Naruto under his breath, "Crying just because the girl left you a message."

A slot opened up on R2 and a lightsaber handle emerged from it. Naruto reached for it and glared angrily.

(Three Hours Later)

A dark robed and cloaked figure stormed through the trees as they made their way to a particular boulder and pulled out a lightsaber, igniting it instantly. A moment after the single red blade shot out, a smaller blade came out on either side to form a cross guard.

(The Next Morning)

Satele stared at the pile of bodies like everybody else and scowled at it.

"What's everybody looking at?" asked Naruto as he came up next to Satele and rubbed his eyes before he noticed the bodies, "Oh yeah. Even I have to admit that I didn't think he had it in him."

"Him?" asked Satele.

"Yeah." replied Naruto as he yawned, "The kid took over last night and did this. Said he wanted to be the one to kill the ones who killed that girl."

Satele noticed the new lightsaber at his hip and raised an eyebrow.

"Where did you get that?" asked Satele.

"Hey, Naruto!" called out Shikamaru as he approached.

"What is it, Shikamaru?" asked Naruto.

"Sasuke deserted the village." said Shikamaru seriously.

Naruto sighed and headed toward Tsunade's office.

(Three Minutes Later)

"What do you mean it's pointless for us to go after him?" asked Tsunade as Naruto and Satele stood in front of her desk.

"What I think he means is that the people Sasuke is likely with has weapons similar to ours." said Satele, "It would be extremely dangerous if your people went after them."

"I was actually trying to be blunt." replied Naruto with a roll of the eyes.

"There are four of them so we would logically need two or three other people who know how to use lightsabers." said Satele.

"I believe Lazarus and I can make up for that." said the Exile as she entered with Lazarus at her side.

"What are you doing here, Master Meetra?" asked Naruto in surprise.

"I came to check up on what was going on here." she explained, "And it's a good thing I did."

"Good thing that Tayuya is there as well." said Lazarus, "After what happened with Darth Vowrawn, she does owe Naruto one and Sith hate owing favors."

"Very well." said Tsunade, "I want you four to go after Sasuke and bring him back alive."

(A Day Later)

Shae, who had just returned from a job, arrived at the Valley of the End and ran up to the barely conscious Naruto. She began compressing the bleeding hole in his abdomen before said boy coughed and opened his eyes a little.

"I told you." he whispered weakly, "You should have let me fight him."

Satele, Lazarus, the Exile, and Tayuya all arrived as Shae pulled Naruto onto her back and they all headed back to Konoha.

(Four Hours Later)

Sakura stood in front of the gates to Konoha and waited until she saw five forms in the distance. They ran past her and Sakura caught a glimpse of a blonde bundle in Shae's arms.

(That Night)

"He would be a lot safer back on Tython." said Satele as she sat in a meeting with Tsunade, Homura, Koharu and Danzo while Lazarus stood by the door.

"That's what you said last time and look what happened." said Koharu, "Do you really think that we'll give him to you again?"

"It doesn't matter." said Tsunade, "Naruto is too strong for us to keep him confined to the village. He'll just leave anyway."

"Even more so now that I know he drank from the Font of Power." said Lazarus as she looked away.

"What do you mean?" asked Homura.

"Back when Naruto left before the finals of the Chunin Exams, he, Satele and Tayuya went to the planet Mortis where they encountered three powerful beings." she explained, "The eldest of the three showed Naruto how to project himself across the cosmos and he arrived on a planet where he was tempted and have into the lure of an ancient artifact that grants absolute power."

"And absolute power corrupts absolutely." said Satele, "The Kyuubi is now in control of Naruto's body but doesn't have free reign of it yet. However, thanks to Lazarus, we now have a way get Naruto back."

"And just how do you propose to do this?" asked Danzo.

"By sending my subconscious into his." explained Satele, "I'm going to go inside of him and try to get him to come back out."

"There's one thing I forgot to mention." said Lazarus as they all turned to her, "Naruto has to be awake for the first part of it."

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner?" asked Satele in an edgy tone.

"I just remembered." said Lazarus in annoyance, "Any who, we're going to need to do this in the next few days or I'm going to be in trouble with the Dark Council."

Naruto sat in a hospital bed and stared out the window while R2 watched over him as Shae and Tayuya were out somewhere getting to know each other.

"I failed, Artoo." said Naruto, "I failed in bringing him back."

R2 worridly beeped and Naruto looked down at his hands.

"I failed to protect Kin and I failed to stop Sasuke from leaving." he said in disappointment, "Damn that idiot for putting words in my mouth. I take control of his body and he's forcing me to say all these things. But he has gotten strong without my help. But he'll need to hone all that power inside of him if he wants to become the strongest. By the way, how long are you going to stand out there?"

Sakura opened the door and R2 beeped happily. She walked past the foot of Naruto's bed and opened the curtains.

"Looks like you went overboard." said Sakura as she opened the curtains.

Naruto reached into his pocket and pulled out his severed Padawan braid.

"Hey." said Naruto as Sakura turned to him.

He tossed her the braid and she caught it.

"Keep a hold of that for me." he said, "Think of it as a reminder that I won't stop until I bring him back."

Sakura looked at Naruto with a kind smile and shook her head. Naruto suddenly grabbed his head and began screaming bloody murder. Sakura ran out of the room to get some help as Naruto fell off the bed and R2 began beeping wildly. Satele, Tayuya and Shae ran in just as Naruto started convulsing.

"No! No!" he shouted angrily, "Elie! No! Elie! ELIE!"

"Move!" shouted Lazarus as she shoved Shae and Satele aside and restrained Naruto with the Force.

She forced his eyes open and had him stare into her Sharingan. Naruto went limp a moment later and Lazarus sighed in relief as Tsunade and Shizune came running in.

"What happened?!" demanded Tsunade as she put Naruto back on the bed.

"He was holding his head and convulsing while shouting no about something and about Elie for some reason." explained Tayuya as Tsunade went over Naruto.

"A vision." said Shae, "He must have been having a vision of Elie dying."

"And how would you know this?" asked Satele as she looked at the Mandalorian.

"He had a vision of her dying before." said Shae as she pointed at Naruto's sister.

"Me?" asked Tayuya.

"It actually shook him up quite a lot." said Shae, "He almost went full on fox back during the Chunin Exams."

"We have to do the ritual quickly." said Lazarus as she looked at Tsunade, "So, what's the answer?"

(A Day Later)

Naruto stepped off the shuttle and into the hanger of the Tython Temple and took a deep breath of air. He ran toward the hanger doors and looked out at the lush world.

"So, this is Tython." said Naruto.

"Yes, it is." said Satele, "Now, come. There's a training exercise I want to try with you."

Naruto raised an eyebrow and folded his arms.

"Why?" he asked.

"It requires two people." said Satele, "And please drop the voice."

"Fine." said Naruto as he voice changed drastically.

He followed Satele and got looks from everybody as they walked by.

"I love the warm reception from everybody." said Naruto sarcastically.

"Pay them no attention." said Satele as they headed to the ground floor.

Satele took Naruto into her room and Naruto stopped in the doorway. There were two circles made of stones close together on the floor and four torches lit with black flames.

"What is this?" asked Naruto cautiously.

"I'm sorry, Naruto." said Satele as Meetra and Lazarus restrained Naruto's arms.

Naruto struggled against their hold as four other Jedi Masters restrained him with the Force and Satele cut her hand with a stone knife. She began speaking in a language Naruto didn't recognize as she let the blood from her hand drop onto a pile of ash in the middle of the room. She then took a seat in one of the stone circles as Lazarus cut Naruto's dominant hand and let the blood fall into the ash. They forced Naruto into into a sitting position in the other circle as Satele leaned over the pile of ash and grabbed both sides of Naruto's head.

"One invades and the other surrenders." muttered Satele as she closed her eyes and placed her forehead against Naruto's.

Naruto instantly froze in place before he relaxed and closed his eyes. The ash between them began to rise and everyone stepped back as the ash covered every inch of Naruto and Satele's bodies and then glowed a little before they completely turned into statues made of ash.

"Now all we do is wait." said Lazarus as she examined them.

"Is there really nothing we can do?" asked Master Kiwiks.

"They're beyond us now." said Lazarus as her fingers were mere inches from touching Satele, "If Satele succeds, then they will return to normal."

"And if she fails?" asked Master Orgus.

"Then they'll both die along with everybody within twenty parsecs." said Lazarus.

"Why didn't you tell us that before?!" shouted Master Kaeden.

"It's too late now." said Lazarus, "If we interrupt them, then we can all join the Force."

(Naruto's Mind)

Satele walked through the sewer of Naruto's mind and tried desperately to sense Naruto somewhere.

"This is ridiculous." said Satele as she shook her head.

She noticed the sewer began to descend and took a deep breath as she ran down the inclined plane. She noticed a light at the end, ran right into it and came out in a pure white hallway lined with doors. Some appeared to be old but Satele could feel that none of these doors was the one she needed to open. She came to the end of the hall after what seemed like hours and stopped in front of a large set of doors with hundreds of thousands of locks sealing it.

Satele raised her hand and all the locks either broke apart or unlocked. She touched the doors and they swung open instantly. Satele proceeded inside and the doors shut behind her. She opened her eyes and found herself inside a fixed Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Padawans and Masters stood together and talked while others trained as Satele walked around. She checked the time and went to where Naruto would be practicing about now.

She entered the classroom and saw Master Zym giving a lession.

"Ah, Satele." said Master Zym as he stopped the class and turned to her, "What can I do for you?"

"Is Naruto here?" asked Satele, "I need to talk to him about something important."

"Right here, Satele!" exclaimed the young Naruto as he ran up to her.

She led Naruto up to the barren Council Chambers in one of the towers and they stared out at the bustling world of Coruscant.

"What do you need to talk about?" asked Naruto.

"So, this is what you've been doing." she said.

"Satele?" asked Naruto with his head.

"Ever since Kin died, you've been hiding in your mind." she said in a calm tone, "Please don't try to dodge it, Naruto."

Naruto sighed in defeat and looked away.

"I... failed to protect her." he said on the verge of crying, "I promised Tayuya that I'd protect her and I failed."

"It's alright, Naruto." said Satele, "Everyone goes through this at one point or another. I went through it with you six years ago."

"How did you feel when you found out?" he asked.

"I was devastated." said Satele, "I fell behind in my training. I couldn't focus on anything. I nearly resigned from the Order because I was in such pain from losing you."

"I doubt it." said Naruto, "You've never shown any kind of emotion that resembles mourning."

"Naruto, I'm still human." said Satele as she turned to him and knelt down, "Like every other species out there, I have emotions too. It got so bad that..."

Satele removed her armbands and revealed the cut marks on her wrists.

"I tried to join you." said Satele as she took a deep breath, "Remember when I said I had found you on Ibonihs?"

Naruto nodded and Satele lowered her head.

"As you know, that was a lie." she confessed, "But the reason why I was so close to you was because of your parents."

"My parents?" he asked.

"I had lived on Ibonihs for over two years." she explained, "I saw Tayuya being born and was around when Darth Madara showed up and unleashed the Kyuubi on the village. I fought him after Minato went to seal the fox and failed to stop him before your parents were beyond saving."

She began to cry and sobbed.

"They told me to look after you." she confessed with heavy guilt, "I failed them. I failed them six years ago when I couldn't protect you. Please, forgive me."

Naruto turned away and lowered his head. He turned back to Satele when he slipped on her armband and fell out the window. Satele dove out the window and caught up to Naruto before moving Naruto on top and put him in a tight embrace.

(Outside Naruto's Mind)

After several hours of waiting, everyone noticed cracks appearing on Naruto and Satele with white light coming from them. The pieces began falling to the ground and shattered. After an instant of blinding white light, they now saw Satele embracing Naruto as a mother would a child as they were about to die. Lazarus and the Exile pushed the other Masters out of the room and left Naruto and Satele to have some time to themselves.
