Title: Apartment

Characters: Tezuka, mentions of Fuji.

Genre/ Rating: Gen/ G

Word Count: 242. Long-ish drabble?

Tezuka looks around the apartment he shares with Fuji. The apartment that makes him feels uncharacteristically happy to come home to after each tiring day of lectures.

He likes how the walls were simply blue.

He likes the bookshelf they shared that stands in the corner of the living room and how it carries both their relatively large collections of books without giving way to the heavy load.

He likes the white beanbag that lies next to a single-seat sofa and the occasional evenings Fuji and himself sit around in the living room, exchanging their day or just reading silently with hot chocolate that Tezuka makes.

He likes the simple board in the kitchen wall where they had a collection of post-its they leave for each other in distinctive handwritings. "Breakfast and lunch in the fridge, see you tonight (:" and "Go back to sleep if you're still feeling tired, I'll be back at noon"

He likes the board next with different lists hanging from it. From their list of chores that they needed to do weekly or daily, to the list of food they stocked up in the refrigerator. Those lists were updated diligently by both of them and he was glad that Fuji didn't mind his compelling need to stay organized.

Then, he realize, an apartment is just an apartment. What he really likes is the comfortable presence of Fuji and nothing else really matters.

He had a perfect partner.
