Chapter 8:
Tomoyo POV-
It was 7:45 and I was about to wake the beast, just joking it was time to wake Sakura up. I continuously poked her until one of her eyes slowly cracked open and looked groggily at me."Wats hpn fire hnnnnn", she murmured before she rolled back over and proceeded to go back to sleep. I wouldn't take that, I went up to her and whispered in her ear " Look, Touya and Yukito are making out and Syaoran is here to ask you to go out with him". "What, where, I'm awake", she says as she sits up suddenly looking around wildly.
"Hah, I knew you liked Syaoran", I said triumphantly. "What no, I was looking for Touya and Yukito, I didn't even hear the second part of what you said "she denied but it was pointless because she was blushing.
"Time to get ready for school, I promise if you get up now I won't choose your clothes or video-tape you at all today", I said trying to bribe her out of bed and it worked. She jumped out like she had been electrified and quickly got ready in 10 minutes flat.
"You didn't have to get ready this quickly, we still have plenty of time before school", I told Sakura. "What time is it Tomoyo",she asked me. "Oh, it's 8 o'clock".
She paled and looked longingly at her bed. "Come on let's go have breakfast, then we can get to school early and have more time to spend with Eriol, Meiling and Syaoran", I prompted and she agreed and we walked down the stairs.
As we were going to the dining room to eat breakfast we walked past the lounge room and saw the cutest sight. Touya and Yukito were cuddled up to each other on the couch still fast asleep. "Kawaii", I shrieked and they both woke up, self-consciously moving away from the other trying to regain dignity.
They were both flustered until a thought dawned on Touya, "Kaijuu why are you up so early". "I woke her up", I answered. "Shouldn't you two get ready for school? "Sakura asked them obviously trying to take the attention off herself.
"Yes, come on Yuki let's go get ready for school" Touya said and he grabbed Yukito's hand and rushed up the stairs to his room. Maybe Sakura and I won't have to do anything, they're getting together all on their own. (AN: They go to college/university)
I then remembered what we came downstairs for, breakfast. I dragged Sakura to the dining room to be met with a plate full of bacon, eggs and pancakes for each of us. Her father was in there just cleaning the cookware. "Thankyou Otou-san " Sakura and I chimed as we dug into the delicious food.
"No problem girls, it's a rare occurrence that Sakura is up this early but I heard you get up so I decided to cook you breakfast".
We both gave him a thumbs up and once we were finished we put our plates on the sink and left for school.
Eriol POV-
*yawn* ah it's morning, another day at school with Tomoyo. I leant over to look at my phone, 8:00, time to get up. I heard a grunt then a bang so Meiling must have woken Syaoran up. I headed down to the kitchen to start cooking before Meiling tried. (AN: The episode with the sweet)
I decided to be all fancy and cook French toast, that way if Tomoyo kissed me she would taste cinnamon and chocolate. Tomoyo, kissing, those lips, soft, luscious, I just…..
"Eriol, why are you making out with the air" both Syaoran and Meiling asked me. I blushed a bright red as I realised what I had been doing, "um…well...I", I was interrupted by them saying together perfectly in sync, "I don't want to know what perverted things go on in your head Eriol". I was so confused; first they wanted to know and now they don't.
I continued cooking in silence after that until they were done. "Breakfast is ready" I exclaimed. They rushed to the table fully dressed (I had already gotten dressed before I came downstairs) ready for the French toast. I took my apron off and joined them. "Itadakimasu" we chimed before devouring the delicacy.
I checked my phone again, it was 8: 20. "Come on guys lets go to school". They grumbled the whole way out the door and to school until they saw Sakura and Tomoyo already there waiting for them on a bench outside the buildings.
Oh Tomoyo, she looks even prettier today, her eyes shimmer and sparkle and her hair is just so perfect.
Sakura POV-
By the time we got to school it was 8:20 and we waited there for a couple more minutes and then the trio turned up. Eriol was mumbling something about perfect, while Meiling and Syaoran were casually ignoring him. "Heya guys, good morning to all", Eriol greeted us after he had snapped out of his mumbling. "Good morning", Tomoyo and I replied.
"So, how was your first day yesterday, fun, exciting, being shown around by such amazing and beautiful people must have made it fabulous" Tomoyo asked, half teasing. Eriol blushed a bit while Syaoran and Meiling looked nonchalant.
"It was pretty fun, we made some really nice friends" Meiling answered back honestly. "Arigatou gozaimasu, Meiling-san" I answer back really happy. "Soo, Meiling we saw the cutest sight this morning, guess what it was", Tomoyo questioned her. "Umm, Sakura in one of your outfits", she answered uncertainly. "No unfortunately not, it was Touya and Yukito cuddling up on the couch, kawaii "Tomoyo answered her eyes glazed over with the memory.
(They had seen Touya and Yukito after the fight, but saw them outside the school walking yesterday (their first day) so that's how Meiling knows what they look like).
"Oh, those two would be so cute together, did you take a picture "Meiling said eagerly. "I know they would be so cute together and unfortunately no, aww, next time I will definitely take a picture" Tomoyo said disappointed in herself.
I sweat dropped, okay, just a little bit creepy now. To change topics I said to everyone "Let's go inside now and get ready for class". Tomoyo looked at me weirdly but we all ended walking to roll call with ten minutes until the bell went.
As I walked into the classes there were gasps,"OMG, Sakura's here early", was said all around the room. I blushed and walked over to my seat, next to Tomoyo and behind Chiharu, Rika and Yamazaki.
Chiharu is 5 ft. 7; she has c-cup breasts, silky chocolate brown hair in plaited/braided pigtails and warm brown eyes. Rika is 5 ft. 6; she has b-cup breasts, chin length dark brown hair, warm chocolate eyes and is in love with Terada sensei.
Yamazaki or Takashi is 5 ft. 8 and is Chiharu's boyfriend. He has charcoal eyes when they're open (they're shut 95% of the time), spiky charcoal grey hair and is prone to telling lies that most people fall for.
They are my best friends besides Tomoyo and maybe Syaoran and co. "So Sakura, did you know that sleeping in excessively is a sure fire symptom of mental illness and bodily degeneration. Research has shown that...owww", yamazaki informed me obviously lying because chiharu stopped him from continuing the tale.
Terada sensei chose that moment to walk into the room and he looked genuinely shocked to see me before the bell went. There was no point trying to talk with rika now, she was happily staring at Terada sensei. (AN: in this fic terada's only 22).
"OK, since sakura's is already here, I'll take the roll and then read out the morning announcements", Terada sensei informed us.

"Well, it looks like everyone is here" Terada sensei commented.
"OK, now for the morning announcements; Cheerleading practice this afternoon in the gym, soccer team try-outs at lunch tomorrow and in study hall today (Periods 3 & 4) auditions for the school play 'A Midsummers Night Dream' will be held in the auditorium.
The bell went for period one and we all shuffled off to our first class. We (the group) all had art first so we headed to the art classroom.
Our teacher told us of the task we had to submit in a couple of weeks for our term assessment, (it's halfway through term 1) a canvas painting of our free choice.
My mind was going through of all the possibilities when she started talking again. "This time we're going to try something different, you will be working in pairs on a second painting and you must both agree and work together to get the marks for it ok", said Ms Ryuu enthusiastically. "I have already paired you up the list is in the window and I have a copy here for each of you" she said as she handed out copies of the list.
I looked at it, the partners were: Mae & Rika, Chiharu and Takashi, Tomoyo and Eriol, Minato & Aiko, Ryo and Meiling and Syaoran & I. I looked at him and his expression showed that he was happy, I better not screw this up I thought to myself.
I walked over to Syaoran and we started of thinking up ideas for our painting, we had already picked a genre, fantasy. We ended up creating a design we both agreed on.
A Half transparent card with a moon and sun design (clow card) with creatures (the forms of the cards) all around it and a sceptre and a sword crossed on top of the card (there weapons).
Just as we finished sketching up the design on the canvas, the bell went for second period and we had to pack up. We had Home ec now with Ms Lawrence.
Was the world trying to tell us something because, Tomoyo and Eriol, Ryo and Meiling and Syaoran and I were paired up again, was it coincidence or were they trying to get us together. I liked Syaoran, Tomoyo liked Eriol and from Meiling's blush I gather that she likes Ryo.
"OK, today you guys will be cooking a favourite of mine; Nacho's with potato wedges, you have 40 minutes, start now", Ms Lawrence said.
I was working on the nachos whilst Syaoran started on preparing the wedges. I had decided to change the nacho's, I added all the usual stuff except I added freshly cooked shredded bacon and shallots as well. Whilst it was in the oven cooking, I started to help Syaoran. He had cut the wedges and had created a seasoning and sprinkled that throughout it. Once he had put those in the oven, I had an idea. "We should make some type of dipping sauce for the wedges", I told Syaoran. He nodded and we started making a sour cream and sweet chilli dip (Chilli Philly*). We had ten minutes left after our food was ready. We started placing the food on the plate and as an after thought we added some of the seasoning to the nacho's as well.
Soon enough it was time, Ms Lawrence had looked at everyone else's as ours was last. She looked at it commented on the nice presentation and the beautiful aroma, she then cut into the nacho's and tried them. After that she tried the wedges with the dipping sauce and then the nacho's and the wedges together. Her face lit up, "This is the winner, you had a new interesting but delicious flavour for the nacho's your wedges were cooked and seasoned to perfection and you dipping sauce was just beautiful, well done", Ms Lawrence said appraisingly.
I hugged Syaoran tightly in happiness not noticing his face turning red, I was grinning madly and I stood on my tiptoes and gave him a kiss on the cheek not noticing his face get even redder.
I looked over to Tomoyo and Eriol and saw them standing really, really close to each other talking, I then saw them hug and clasp each other's hand. I giggled excite that they were now most likely together. Just to make sure that it wasn't just a fluke, I looked over at Meiling and Ryo, they were attempting to talk to each other but they both kept blushing and looking shyly at the ground. Meiling then grabbed his hand and moved closer.
The only pair that hadn't gotten together was Syaoran and I, did he even like me like that I wondered. I finally let go of him blushing at how long I had been hugging him for.
He looked at me and smiled and I felt my heart flutter, I smiled back at him and turned away to take half of the meal for me to eat. After we all took our share of the food our group left for the spot. (Under a group of Sakura (cherry-blossom) trees) Once we reached there Tomoyo wouldn't stop talking about how cute I had been and how I should try out for the play.
Eriol POV-
Tomoyo had said yes, I had finally told her my feelings and she had accepted them and now we were going out. She had held my hand, ah so exciting, my heart wouldn't stop racing and the humongous grin wouldn't erase itself from my face.
Syaoran POV-
After we had finished cooking Sakura had fiercely hugged me for a while; my face got red as I blushed having her this close and happy. She then kissed me on the cheek and resumed hugging me, my face got redder and to distract myself I looked over at Eriol. Huh, it seems he got with Tomoyo; I then looked over at Meiling and saw that she had gotten together with Ryo. Sakura unwrapped her arms from around me and blushed cutely. I smiled down at her softly and she returned that smile and then turned to take her half of the food.
After the bell had gone for recess we went to the spot and started to eat. Eriol had a mad grin on his face and ryo was now sitting with us. Ryo is 5 ft.9 with black Sebastian (black butler/kuroshitsuji) hair and hazel eyes, at the moment he is wearing a black skull t-shirt and maroon skinny jeans with black doc martens.
Everyone here is a couple except for rika, Sakura and myself. Syaoran Li, the hottest bachelor at Reed Academy (his past school), is now still single but crushing on a girl.
Before I could stop myself I "Hey, Sakura, do you". Then the bell went for third period and my voice was drowned out. She turned to look at me curiously, "Syao did you say something" she asked me cutely even giving me a nickname. "I asked you if you were going to audition for the play, it sounds like fun", I said to cover up my blunder.
"Oh, um, maybe. You should come audition with me though Syao then I won't be as nervous, please" Sakura answered sweetly pouting and batting her eyelashes. I nodded and she grabbed my arm pulling off to the auditorium, but not before I heard Eriol make a whip noise. Oh great now he's calling me whipped.
Before I knew it we had reached the auditorium and she raced and pulled me inside. A lot of the girls started swarming me and I stuck close to Sakura trying to avoid them and their unwanted attention.
I grabbed a script and began practising Lysander's lines whilst Sakura started practising Hermia's.
It was Sakura's audition and then mine. She started. (You could choose any part of the play to read)
"And in the wood, where often you and I
Upon faint primrose-beds were wont to lie,
Emptying our bosoms of their counsel sweet,
There my Lysander and myself shall meet;
And thence from Athens turn away our eyes,
To seek new friends and stranger companies.
Farewell, sweet playfellow: pray thou for us;
And good luck grant thee thy Demetrius!
Keep word, Lysander: we must starve our sight
From lovers' food till morrow deep midnight".
I was amazed and felt nervous as it was now my turn, I opened my mouth and read;
"I am, my lord, as well derived as he,
As well possess'd; my love is more than his;
My fortunes every way as fairly rank'd,
If not with vantage, as Demetrius';
And, which is more than all these boasts can be,
I am beloved of beauteous Hermia:
Why should not I then prosecute my right?
Demetrius, I'll avouch it to his head,
Made love to Nedar's daughter, Helena,
And won her soul; and she, sweet lady, dotes,
Devoutly dotes, dotes in idolatry,
Upon this spotted and inconstant man".
I quickly hopped down off the stage hoping I did a good job.
Looking around I also saw Tomoyo and Eriol there and they soon performed; Tomoyo saying Helena's part and Eriol doing Demetrius's part.
Soon the auditions were over and we were told to come back at lunch to hear the results. With a whole period to go until lunch we decided to go to the library where we would play truth or dare.
I had a bad feeling about this.
Tomoyo POV-
Yes, they agreed to it , truth or dare. Now we can get them together and they can get married and have cute little babies and I can film their whole lives, muhahahahahaha (just kidding).
I still want to get them together though, they would be cute, Eriol and Meiling are going to help me too if this plan doesn't work. Sakura and Syaoran let the very fun games begin.
Akio POV—
This plan will definitely work this time and nothing will stop our revenge, beware Sakura Kinomoto, your life just got a whole lot more difficult.
AN: hope you enjoyed it and in the next couple of chapters it will be based more on the gangs, what akio did to Sakura and more SxS .
