The Pink and Powdered Princess
Do you see the princess dressed in pink?
The lovely princess with long hair of sunshine-gold,
eyes of blue sapphires,
cheeks of pink lily and lips of pink rose.
Beautiful,
with form of faerie and voice of Muse.
'Tis true, her manners are well and good.
'Tis true, her heart is warm and kind.
And yes, true, in innocence she is at times naïve.
But in truth she's a strong young woman,
far more capable than many give her credit for.
She's braver than most would believe.
A keen sportswoman, she's got game enough
to challenge even bitter foes.
Certainly she cares for the sick and the wounded.
In spite of every injustice,
all these, I believe, have made her strong.
Come now, Smashers and all who hear!
