Differences

Summary: Sakura likes to think that Sasuke is indifferent with everybody, but deep down, she can see the differences in the way Sasuke treats HER and the way Sasuke treats HIM. SasuNaru, drabble
Incessant Insanity
"How was your day off, Sasuke?"
"Hn."
"Did you train the whole day again?"
"Hn."
"You didn't get hurt, did you?"
"Hn."
"I bet you learned something really advanced..."
"Hn."
"Then again... ano, wasn't it your birthday yesterday, Sasuke?"
"Hn."
"Ah! Sasuke, you're so dedicated! To train even on your birthday...!"
"Hn."
"I... (blush) got you something, but I couldn't seem to find you."
"Hn."
"Um, I could give it to you now, if you don't mind..."
"Hn."
Shuffle. Rustle. Blush.
"E-eh, s...see? It's, um, it's a new shuriken pouch, and I, um, thought it would go well with your clothes."
"Hn."
Awkward silence.
"Mornin', Sakura! Mornin', teme."
"Lower the decimal, dobe."
Tongue out. Nyah!
"Shaddup, bastard. Anyway, shouldn't you be pleasant or something, considering it was your birthday yesterday?"
"Who told you that?"
Glare.
"Common knowledge, oh great prodigy of Konoha."
"COMMON knowledge?"
"Yeah, like, not rare? And knowledge, like, as in, stuff you know?"
"Shut up, I know what common knowledge is. You, on the other hand..."
Smirk. Bristle.
"SASUKE! What the hell do you mean by that?.!"
Insults, mean words, harsh phrases... One wouldn't think it was such a big deal.
But even Sakura could see the difference.
If you didn't understand it, the part underlined was a conversation between Sasuke and Sakura. The conversation in bold is one that takes place moments later, between Sasuke and Naruto, where, although biting, the Sharingan user is at least responsive.
And for him, let's just say responses are big news. Tell me what you think please!
