Yes! I got it right after all! Ahahahahaha. It was never Jenova controlling Sephiroth, it was Sephiroth controlling Jenova. And I wrote this WAY back, before the FFVII Ultimania Omega FAQ came out to confirm it. HAH!

There's a whole lot of information on Jenova in the FAQ and I would highly recommend that everyone reads it. (link to a translation can be found on wikipedia. Look up the article for 'Jenova'.)

And it seems that Jenova being a creature of instinct is a correct assumption too.

But it seems I was wrong about the clone going around during FFVII. Hm, well, in my defense, it was a popular theory.

Of course, everything else is speculative. After all, I'm not writing the canon. (though I seem to have been on the same general wavelength as the creators of FFVII… psychic resonance?)
