Yuffie was a candy fireball, one of those red-hot sweets that Sora had brought in a bag from "Christmas Town." She was sweet at first but hothothot after a few seconds, and when you threw her at things she'd jump back, just as quick and just as hard.
Yuffie was hard on the outside but soft on the inside, and it only took one hard bite to break her in half and then she's (munchmunchmunch) gone.
