Renji remembered when he first told Rukia that he loved her.
"I'm not ready." Rukia had replied. Renji knew that that was not her final answer, but he was depressed. Why couldn't she just say yes? When would she be ready? When…when?
Then Ichigo climbed into her life and just like that, Rukia forgot about Renji. And Renji knew from that moment on that Rukia would never be ready…never in an entire lifetime. She would leave him behind with her old memories forever and go on with Ichigo.
But…she still hasn't replied…does that mean there's still a chance?
