The following story is a fanfiction piece based on the Harry Potter canon. In the first half, I wrote journal entries from the perspective of Severus Snape during Harry's first and second year at Hogwarts. In the second half, I give a brief origin story of Snape. I feel like it helps explain why Snape is the way he is in the seven book series.
