Written for the first round of HPRomione Discord's Popcorn Drabble Challenge. Ron and Hermione get some much needed alone time. This drabble takes place during the summer of 7th year, right before the Order goes to rescue Harry.

Draco's been hurt before, by people he loved, trusted. When Hermione stumbles into his car in tears, a victim of a sexual assault, he recognizes something broken in her. Now, propelled by a feeling he doesn't understand, he will do everything in his power to find and punish those responsible.

After the war ends in both Harry and Voldemort's deaths, Ron and Hermione feel a little lost, so Hermione comes up with a way to make herself feel better, which ends up helping Ron and the others. Oneshot - Ron/Hermione mentioned, Harry/Ginny if you squint.
