Family Business
Padrego Corleone entered the office of the Corleone Compound, three days after his father's funeral. He was quickly followed by his newly appointed Consigliere, Luca Bonosera.
"So, do you have any idea who it was?" enquired Luca.
"It's difficult. Things had been difficult between the families since the Corleones moved back to New York," answered Don Corleone, "we have many suspects…"
"Amelio Sollozzo… Freddie Barzini… Paulie Cicci…" began Luca.
"We mustn't point the finger, Luca," advised Padrego.
"Yes, but then again, we need to find the truth. It may even have been Virgil Clemenza!" explained Bonosera.
"Clemenza? Perhaps…" said Don Corleone, immersed in his own thoughts.
"We'll find out who did this, Godfather…" Luca assured him.
"No, you won't, Bonosera," began Don Corleone.
"What do you mean, Don Corleone?" questioned Bonosera in shock.
"I will."
