Cheating defined by Tiannah, was possibly the worst thing you could do. The tales she had heard at The Salem Witches Academy of luck potions, body performance enhancing potions and modified sleep potions infuriated her. How was it fair that people took shortcuts, while others worked their butts off? Tiannah had never cheated in her life, as she was too strongly against it. Tiannah had been accused of cheating in America when it came to Quidditch. The accusations infuriated her, because she never, ever did such a thing.

"You cheated on me."

That sort of cheating was something that Tiannah had never been accused of.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard. Don't play dumb, Tiannah."

"Where did you get this idea?" she asked in utter confusion. She had never seen such a harsh expression on Cedric's face – it seemed unnatural.

He ignored this question. "Did you sleep with him?"

Tiannah turned red as she glared at Cedric.

"No, I didn't. He's like a brother to me."

Well, maybe that's a lie.

"Very close brother."

"I did NOT cheat on you. I've known Oliver since I was born and we are very close. So whatever you've heard, I assure you it's just yet another person who has gotten the wrong idea. I hate that when I finally get a boyfriend, he too seems to think there's something going on when there isn't," Tiannah said angrily.

"Well, is there any truth to the rumours? Any at all?" Cedric asked. The question caught Tiannah off guard, and for a moment, she thought that her answer was a lie.

"No. Do you trust me at all?"

"I'm sorry, Tia. I do trust you."

He pulled her in for a long, sweet kiss. Tiannah reluctantly kissed him back, despite her annoyance at him calling her Tia.

Only Ollie and Hestia can do that.

Tiannah went for a walk with Hestia around the grounds the next day. Hestia had lost her virginity to Ken the night before and had never looked happier.

"What was it like?" Tiannah asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"It was great, Tiannah, really. I really love him." The brunette was really happy for her friend, but she couldn't help but feel jealous. She certainly didn't feel that way towards Cedric, and wondered what it would be like to be with someone she did. Someone who really knew her and trusted her; Cedric's accusations the day before had really upset her. Cheating was not something she would do in any shape or form.

"Oliver has truly become gorgeous!" Hestia said suddenly, breaking the silence.

Tiannah cast an annoyed look at her friend. "Please, Hest, don't hint. I'm with Cedric now."

"But you're not happy!"

"I am," she lied, averting her gaze.

A determined look crossed the blonde girl's features. "I am not speaking to you until you and Oliver get together," Hestia said snottily.

"You're bluffing," Tiannah scoffed, used to Hestia's dramatic antics and not taking it seriously.

"Nope. Either you and Oliver get together or I will not speak to you."

"Bribery? Really?" She frowned, starting to think that perhaps Hestia did mean what she was saying.

"You love him. He loves you. Dump pretty boy."

Tiannah couldn't believe what she was saying! Hestia had been quite supportive of her and Cedric's relationship; what could have prompted this sudden change? It infuriated Tiannah. Friends shouldn't make ultimatums. Even if there was some truth in what Hestia said… she wasn't happy with Cedric. Right now. Things could get better in time; so why was Hestia so hellbent on this?

"I'm happy with Cedric and you should be happy that I'm happy. If you're not... well, I need a better friend," she said angrily, stalking off away from Hestia.

Justin Finch Fletchley got petrified that night. Cedric, being a prefect, invited Tiannah to the prefect's bathroom with him for a swim. Tiannah agreed and met Cedric at the entrance at nine.

"You alright, Tiannah? With Justin getting petrified?"

"Yeah, it's just... nothing like this ever happened at my old school, that's all," she said. It wasn't the only thing bothering her, but it was the only thing she could tell Cedric.

"Yeah, well, things like that happen here," he shrugged.

Cedric had a sharp edge to his voice that Tiannah didn't like. He spoke again before Tiannah could respond. "I don't like you hanging out with Oliver. I wish you wouldn't."

Tiannah opened her mouth in shock. "Excuse me? Who are you to have any say on who I hang out with? I've known Oliver for a hell of a lot longer than you and I'm not going to stop hanging out with him just because you can't get over your stupid insecurities."

She froze, not meaning for her words to be so harsh. She was reeling from her argument with Hestia earlier that day and wasn't in complete control of her reactions. Not that Cedric didn't deserve it… he was acting like a controlling asshole, so unlike the boy she had initially had a crush on.

Cedric shook his head and glared venomously at Tiannah. "You're nothing but a bitch," he spat. "Just go."

"With pleasure," she snapped back, blinking tears of frustration out of her eyes. She didn't understand what had caused Cedric's sudden change from being so sweet to absolutely horrible. Sure, what she said was harsh but it didn't warrant a reaction like that. She stalked out of the bathroom without a second glance.

When Tiannah reached the common room, the first sight that greeted her was Oliver and Hestia talking. When Hestia spotted Tiannah, she whispered something to Oliver, and then walked upstairs. When Oliver reached Tiannah, he immediately saw that something was wrong.

"Tia! What's wrong?"

She hesitated for a second, having half a mind to follow Hestia into the dorms and demand she stop her ridiculous silent treatment. But her anger at Cedric right now was greater, and so she burst into a furious rant.

"Cedric doesn't know me at all! And I guess I don't know him either. He accused me of cheating on him, which was bad enough, but today he told me to stay away from you. I told him to stop letting his insecurities get the better of him, and he called me a bitch and told me to leave. And sure, maybe I went a bit overboard, but-"

"He called you a bitch?" Oliver said in an irritated and angry tone. "I can't believe him. You're meant to be his girlfriend. I didn't realise Diggory was like that."

"Neither," she replied bluntly. "But I don't think I'm his girlfriend anymore. Probably for the best… I just don't understand how he could be such a jerk."

"I have half a mind to go punch him," Oliver said, and Tiannah saw he wasn't joking. She smiled, appreciating Oliver looking out for her. If there was one person she could always count on, it was him. He smiled back and she felt her heart skip a beat.

"There's no need for that. Although he does deserve it," she said, starting to feel a bit better. It wasn't as though Cedric was a big loss; she had only known him for a few months and they were far too different for things to work out.

"Are you okay, though?" he asked seriously. Tiannah thought that he almost looked… relieved.

She thought about it for a moment. "Yes," she decided on. Although she was still irritated at both Cedric and Hestia, being in Oliver's presence had a calming affect on her, always had. "It's clear who's supposed to stick around in my life and who isn't."

Oliver grinned. "You don't happen to be referring to me, do you?"

"Who else," she replied, giving him a brief hug. There was no place she felt more content than in Oliver's arms, she realised. Was there a chance she was falling for him again?

Was Hestia right?
