Trapped in Mind

Al One shot

He never complains. Now he gets his chance

Al sat up in bed and began to shake. He looked down at his metal hands and sighed. "Still trapped." He shifted and looked at his older brother. He sighed again and kicked the covers of his bed. He got up and began to walk. He headed for the door of the apartment building but stopped at a mirror. He reached out to touch his reflection. When he did his arm began to shake and he broke the mirror. "Why does this body make me so clumsy," He shifted and began to walk again. He walked out into the midnight city. Lit by lamps and passing street cars. The cold winter wind blew on his armor and he sighed again, "Oh God. Help my brother. I want to feel." As he continued his walk the first snow began to fall. He reached out his hands and the snow gently fell into them, not melting. "I have no body warmth. I have no body." As Al made a turn he looked and saw the old abandoned Tucker house. "Oh. I need to head back." Al turned around and hurried down the Central streets. He walked back into the building and back into the apartment. Al headed for the kitchen and looked at the clock. 1:23 am it read. The room was silent except for the, tick tick tick, coming from the walk clock. Al walked back into the bedroom and sat down on his bed and said, "Another day. Still trapped in Mind."
