So, I am back again pasting the revised and proofread variant of chapter 3. Starting to realize why gamer fics are so long too, about half the word count on some of them are stats and stuff. Kinda explains how we are at over 30 k so far. Seriously this document is 51 pages long according to word. Anyway, it is still the weekend somewhere.

Loving your Ideas about Haku, do not worry the connections between Haku and Sasuke are very clear to me, I have plans for her when we get to wave. I feel like she would mesh with this Sasuke well.
Socializing is a big part of the modified chronicles of darkness system that I use at my table, but it is not the only path to power not all quests are social depending on the mission XP or beats will be earned that way as well. We will see that when we get to graduation and all that jazz. For now, Sasuke realizes that he has to more or less play along with the hidden leaf comrade jazz whether or not it stays that way once he becomes strong is another matter I am considering.

A question for you all since I have been considering it, do we want a normal team seven story or a different sensei and or characters? I kind of want to put Sasuke on a team with my boy Shino. Will require messing with the team rosters a bit. Also Kakashi yay or nay? I could go either way, but I have seen him fleshed out in so many fics over the years.
Alternatively, I have thought about Sasuke skipping a year and taking Neji's spot on team Gai because I personally find that idea ridiculously funny and his ninjutsu and genjutsu would balance Gai's team out well.

Sasuke spun around, in his thoughts; he had forgotten Inoichi was there. Luckily using his Sharingan for so long had exhausted him, his eyes did not even flicker into their now familiar red hue.
I would not do for him to be so absorbed in his thoughts, he had to be stronger than this, he could not afford to be this weak not anymore.
Sasuke looked down somewhat ashamed of being caught unaware after what he had just promised his dead clan.
He felt little relief when Inoichi smiled at him. He did not understand him either, did he? He had no doubts that Inoichi was trying desperately to do so, even though the deeper motives still alluded him. He was sure Inoichi had lost people being clan head that likely meant his father and or mother had already passed on. But had they died as tragically as his own? Had they been killed by the one Inoichi had admired the most in his life?
Of that Sasuke was doubtful.
"What you did was brave, it takes a lot of strength to confront what you did. I am proud of you Sasuke." He said after a pause.
Sasuke just nodded numbly not knowing what to say to him. But… some small part of him did not want to be alone either, not right now at least.
Sasuke looked at his feet as he felt Inoichi's hand on his shoulder again, when he looked up Inoichi smiled and squeezed his shoulder in reassurance "Let's get you home kid, anything else can wait for later. You have earned the rest." Inoichi said with a sad smile.
Sasuke nodded again not trusting his voice for the moment.
The last thing he wanted was to be here anymore. He followed Inoichi's lead out of the morgue and out into the night.
He felt a great sense of trepidation as they moved throughout the now almost silent village, he had been there, in that room with his dead for a long time apparently. The sun had long since set across Konoha and what little warmth remained was being chased away by the evening breeze.
As they walked to his home Sasuke thought of all he had lost and all that he might still lose if he did not put an end to Itachi. Even now his brother was out there likely hurting even more innocent people for his own selfish reasons. If Sasuke didn't do something more innocent people would suffer like his clan did, like Setsuko, and his mother did because of his brother's actions. He had to get strong to prevent this from ever happening to anyone else.
They came upon the gates of his clans once grand compound and Sasuke knew despair once again, not a single light shone in the whole district he knew they were dead he had gazed upon them all himself, but this was just another reminder of what Itachi had taken from him.
Inoichi perhaps sensing his trepidation went ahead of him into the compound being the one who took the first step broke Sasuke out of his malaise.
When they arrived at the house, he had grown up in Inoichi smiled at him.
"Now go on in Sasuke, go and get some rest, I will stop by tomorrow in the evening and we will talk then, okay? In the meantime, I will send the bank papers over tomorrow morning." Inoichi said looking at him kindly. Sasuke nodded and turned to go into the house when something struck him.
"Inoichi, thank you for today and for allowing me to see them one last time." He said. Inoichi smiled sadly at him he looked almost like he was going to cry. His empathy was something else. Even if he didn't understand he was trying and that did mean something.
"Of course, Sasuke." He said patting Sasuke's back before walking away.

46 XP! Sasuke's eyes widened that was an astounding amount of experience no wonder the first Hokage was so goddamned broken! Granted from what Kaya-No-Hime had said he gained this experience due to major life events and by dealing with major figures. Meaning there was only so much of it to go around.
Still though it would have taken him at least a year to get this far…
Sasuke checked his character page again to make sure he wasn't hallucinating; it still said 46 experience points had been added to his total that was enough to buy eleven attribute points!
Or twenty two merits or levels in his techniques. Come to think of it merits were supposedly stupidly powerful according to the Kami anyway. Probably best to save them until he was stronger, but it couldn't hurt to look now, could it?
Opening the merit page there were hundreds of options from new bloodlines to simpler things like loyal retainers and income enhancers searching he narrowed it to the Uchiha section and found something interesting Sharingan progression!
He could buy progress with his doujutsu! Two points would get him to two tomoe while four xp would grant him a fully evolved Sharingan! There seemed to be levels beyond that, but they seemed to be locked maybe his attributes were not high enough?
He however could not resist the allure of his doujutsu. How could he resist it? Spending the points he felt a brief flash of agony until his sharingan merit updated. and he lost 4 xp bringing him down to 42.
Opening the page, he read the new description.
Sharingan 3 Tomoe- you have seemingly mastered the eyes of your vaunted clan at this level the Sharingan grants double to defense when active, plus 6 to your hit roll through prediction ability, and plus 12 to genjutsu resistance rolls. In addition to these abilities A fully evolved Sharingan allows you to memorize any seen technique, can see through mist/smoke and walls, can see through chakra mist/smoke and earth, can permanently hypnotize people, and can cast any genjutsu from D to A rank seallessly and as if you were a grandmaster. Eye of insight- Tied to the Sharingan this is the name for the predictive abilities granted, it enhances your perception of time allows you to predict movement, read lips, and recall with clarity anything you see when using the Sharingan. The eye of insight can see the chakra system to a limited extent and can see through common visual interferences. This predictive ability is peerless when engaged in one-on-one combat and made the Uchiha feared opponents in any duel.
Eye of Hypnotism- The feared genjutsu abilities of a mastered Sharingan are terrifying indeed and known genjutsu can be cast from your eyes up to and including A-rank with no hand signs and as if fully mastered. In addition to this the eye of hypnotism grants hypnotic powers and the ability to read and influence thoughts. It can be used to suggest actions to an opponent, and gain insight into them. By using mental suggestion, you have a social advantage against others adding a plus 3 to manipulation and presence-based rolls, this bonus is challenged by an opponent's subterfuge and composure vs your subterfuge and composure if successful the mental manipulation succeeds. This influence is exceptionally subtle and is more of a mind ability than a pure genjutsu. Can even read memories or alter them though this ability takes time and is obvious to the person under it. Therefore, they need to be restrained or under genjutsu.
Eye of twilight- The Sharingan has another vaunted ability though the cost of its use is high at the cost of an eye an Uchiha can escape death by rewriting reality itself for a few moments. Permanently blinds an eye when used. Izanagi takes his toll for the creation and preservation of life both.
Sasuke had to fight to keep down his grin in only a day this power had allowed him to master his Sharingan. That alone made this merit worth every single point, but wait what did this last line say? That he could use genjutsu like a grandmaster? He was going to have to test that if what the merit said was true that means he had bought not only a 3 tomoe sharingan but a mastered one potentially skipping years of training.
There were abilities listed that not even he had been aware about! Though he hoped he never had to use Izanagi, to sacrifice an eye was no easy thing for one of his line.
His grin only got bigger at this; Itachi was in for a horrible death, and he would enjoy every second of it!
Sasuke moved on and deliberated on what attributes to increase he had maxed his social attributes perhaps getting his physicals higher would help? Maybe increase his mentals? Or maybe both?
He decided to focus on strength and stamina for now. Physical power was immensely more important for a shinobi than anything else strategy could wait. strength is what made legends. however, subterfuge and guile were also important f he wanted to avoid being discovered.
Coming to a decision he bought 3 points in strength, 2 in dex, and 3 in stamina, leaving him with 10 xp. he dumped 3 xp into raising athletics by 1 and 6 xp into raising subterfuge by 2 to help hide his growth. Not even halfway into the academy and he was already at the high stat point for a Genin all this in but a single day. At this rate he may very well kill Itachi before he even reaches adulthood.

Katon Hosenka/ pheonix flower jutsu C rank 1000CP 2/10- A popular Uchiha technique. At current mastery it launches 4 small fireballs to a max distance of 14 yards and effects a four yard area each fireball does 1 aggravated damage and requires 5 defense to avoid.
Doton ishi no niku/earth style stone flesh C-rank 1000cp 1/10-an earth technique well prized for its survival enhancing properties by Iwagakure shinobi. The technique at lowest level hardens the users skin but upon mastery and experience it also hardens muscles, blood vessels, and bones for superior protection.100 cp per minute to maintain at level one it offers 2 armor against Lethal, Blunt, and aggravated damage and half of this rating against lightning.
Raiton Yama no Yubi/ Lightning style fingers of the mountain C-rank 1000 CP.1/10- A potent swift moving bolt of Lightning fired from two fingers. A precise long ranged jutsu well suited for assassinations. Used predominantly by hunter nin of Kumogakure for its speed and accuracy. At level 1 the bolt of lightning deals 2 lethal damage, has a range of 30 meters and requires 5 defense to dodge.
Henge no jutsu/ transformation technique D rank 500 cp 10 cp per minute 6/10 At your current mastery your henge is impressive and all, but the most minor details are perfectly aligned.
Kawarimi no jutsu/substitution tachnique D-rank 500 cp ?/? by praying to the sacred tree from which all logs descend a log will sacrifice its life for your own teleporting to your aid and gently pushing you away from harm.
Bunshin no jutsu/ clone technique D rank 50 cp per clone 7/10 throw a fashion show with them sometime that is about all they are good for.
Merits

Godly Earth affinity- Kaya-No-Hime favors you as the champion of the Goddess of fields and medicine you have gained her earth affinity! All earth jutsu cost 10 percent what is shown, and stone can be used in any way imagined. makes stone summoning and clones permanent if they are not already so and allows rock clones and golems to repair themselves with natural energy.
Peak Fire Affinity- Ember in bone fire in blood the Uchiha were the inferno given form. No other clan was as enamored with the frenzied flame as your own. All fire jutsu cost 25 percent the normal amount and fire is very easy to control. An awakened sharingan allows one to manipulate fire jutsu in enviable and deadly ways.
High lightning affinity- lightning techniques cost 50 percent less to cast sharingan allows lightning to be more focused.
Curse of Hatred- If anyone was hateful it was probably Tobirama honestly, he was very kill happy for supposedly being level headed.
Satisfied with his growth Sasuke felt more at ease than he would have without this power, and he found his sleep less troubled than he had dared hope it would be. Granted the sass on the kawarimi and bunshin techniques was still unwelcome. He would however take it over nightmares any day.
When Sasuke awoke the sun was blearily hovering in the horizon, he had slept through the night; he must have been tired to fall asleep like that he thought as he stretched in the cold morning air, he stood up from his bed and began his morning routine—showering, dressing, eating.
The last part proving difficult, he had never cooked for himself before having relied upon his mothers exceptional cooking for his entire life. He had messed up his eggs somehow both burning and undercooking them, he had used far too much water in his rice, and his tomatoes had not been heated through properly on the skillet. All in all, it was easily the worst breakfast he had ever had and more of it went into the trash than his stomach.
Once done with these activities Sasuke made his way out of his home finding the silence there more than faintly off putting, he decided to wander around the village proper to clear his thoughts and see if there were any opportunities to make some more XP. This power seemed to crave him interacting with others after all.
He also resolved to check for any cooking books or magazines he could get his hands on, he would not disgrace his mother by failing to learn how to at the very least sustain himself.
On the way out he found the papers Inoichi said would be brought to him in the morning, in the mailbox with dozens of letters and condolences, deciding to look through those later he separated them from the banking forms and decided to go there first.
The business at the bank was not anything of note he spent about an hour or so filling out forms but in the end his account was set up without a hitch he withdrew 5000 ryo to pick up the odds and ends he would need, the sum while by no means paltry did not even put a chink into his savings.
As he wandered about the village in the morning the streets were still mostly empty; much of the village was still asleep or already at work and those who were awake kept to themselves staying away from other people's paths. It had to be around 10:30 or so if he had to guess.
Seeing a book and magazine store Sasuke stopped in hoping to pick up a cooking book and maybe some magazines to get at least a few basic recipes down.
He was met with an interesting sight when he entered the shop, he saw a short blonde-haired boy with whiskered cheeks being scolded in the store by an older man with greying hair.
"Get out of here kid, every time you come by here my business plummets! I just cannot afford to sell to you anymore." the man said as he pointed at the door with his pipe, the boy looked downtrodden but to the man's credit he did not seem to enjoy kicking the kid out.

Looking at the rewards money really wasn't a problem and helping the kid out gave him more XP and skills, more XP than even Inoichi had given. Apparently, the Blonde had more value than Inoichi for some reason.
Sighing he followed the boy in the orange hoodie out after he left the store.
Catching up with the Blonde was easy, he was just sulking outside the store looking more than a bit put off by the experience.
"Hey kid what was that about?" Sasuke asked the boy, who seemed to shrink back at Sasuke's words; perhaps this kid was afraid of people it was hard to tell because of how young he was but it seemed like this might be his first time just speaking to anyone in a while.
Looking closer at the boy and his garish orange hoodie and whiskered cheeks he thought he might have known him from the academy. Sasuke wasn't sure but he had seen him somewhere. Sasuke extended his hand in an open gesture, placatingly using his skills he said.

Sasuke balked this kid had unreal chakra capacity and physical endurance, but the rest of his stats save stealth and empathy were kind of bad. Still this Naruto could take a real beating and a half if his stats were to be believed.
'He may just be worth getting to know.' Sasuke thought. He could not really afford to throw away someone who may by all accounts seem to be useful.
Sasuke shook his hand back a small smirk appearing on his face, "Hn, nice to meet you as well Naruto, are you in the academy by chance?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto's face lit up once again a common thing it would seem. "Yeah I am! Do you go there?" Naruto asked excitedly with a huge grin on his face.
'Very open.' Sasuke noted probably would not be wise to tell him anything too important at least for now.
Sasuke nodded "I do I have been absent for a while what with all that happened to my clan and all, but I will be back to class soon." Sasuke said while painting a small smile on his face.
"Your clan?" Naruto asked clearly confused.
Sasuke almost frowned but he held it in and gave a slight nod. "You haven't heard? My clan was recently wiped out, killed by my own brother." Sasuke said trying to keep his voice even.
Naruto's eyes widened before a surprisingly hurt expression appeared on his face, "I didn't know I'm sorry, do you know why he did it?" The blonde asked.
Sasuke grit his teeth but kept his lips even in a neutral expression. There was no harm in telling him he supposed.
"He said he did it to test his limits, he slaughtered our clan because he thought he could." He answered evenly.
Naruto if possible, looked even more shocked his eyes were practically bugging out of his head. Before an angry expression morphed onto his face his blue eyes practically burning.
"That- that's awful! How could anyone do that! To their own family?" The blonde shouted.
Sasuke blinked slightly taken aback by the reaction, he agreed of course but to see someone react so violently to something he just learned from a near stranger was certainly something.
Shaking his head Sasuke answered, "I don't know, but I will find out one day you can count on that."
Naruto nodded along before a wide grin split his face "Good! I will help you out when I become Hokage one day, count on it!"
Sasuke paused comment of becoming Hokage aside that was quite the thing to just come out and say… His brother was no pushover he knew that all too well. Still, it was a good thing to consider his eyes never lied, well not to him anyway. Naruto did have potential based on what he could glean.
Sasuke gave a slight nod; not really sure of what to say to such a claim. However, humoring him could not hurt him when it came to getting into his good graces.
"I look forward to that day then Naruto." He said simply.
He knew it was just the right thing to say when the Blonde's eyes widened in surprise.

Naruto seemed to remember himself after a moment as his face returned to its Sasuke began to note normal cheerfulness. "Of course, it's coming up believe it!" He said with a laugh. "Just you wait that old man's hat is mine!" Naruto added.

Deciding to get on with the quest he chose to change the subject.
"So again, why did that old guy kick you out anyway?" he asked genuinely curious.
Naruto looked down at his feet and frowned; he did not it would seem want to talk about this.
"Well, that's just it I don't know, Tamaki-oji was one of the few people who sold stuff to me, without giving me a dirty look. He isn't from here originally think he said he is from the land of lakes or something like that? think they make butter or something." Naruto said with a little frown on his face his eyes scrunched up in a faintly vulpine manner.
Sasuke thought about it a moment was that a joke. Should he laugh? He did not really think it was that funny he had never heard of the land of lakes anyway. Land of water, land of rice sure, but land of lakes? no.
"I-is that a real place?' Sasuke asked. Momentarily taken off guard.
Naruto nodded sagely "MMhmm, last I heard they got invaded by some Imperial forces out East somewhere, apparently they did not like that they had cornered the market or something. Tamaki fled during the fighting he is slippery like that."
Sasuke twitched. Was he fucking with him?
"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT over yet! Can you imagine... a war about BUTTER?"
"Hn don't know, sounds like a crock to me, anyway what were you trying to buy in there anyway?" Sasuke asked tactfully. Not really wanting to get caught up in… whatever this was.
Naruto's expression brightened up like a child that had gotten away with something sinister. "Oh I was looking for a particular thing; something that can be used for my jutsu..."
"Your jutsu?" Sasuke asked in a confused tone. What jutsu? Why was he in a magazine shop? Maybe this was some sort of scam? Sasuke looked at the boy more closely, he seemed to be nervous but not too nervous, in fact he seemed almost excited.
The blonde boy nodded rapidly. "Uh-huh real hush hush kinda stuff ya know? A-rank level easy dattebayo." Naruto said as he motioned like a sword slicing through the air, with a little flourish at the end.
Sasuke tilted his head slightly confused as to what Naruto was talking about. "Huh, I can help you out what did you need to buy?" He was kind of intrigued honestly an A rank jutsu? That could come in handy. Granted a larger part of him was doubtful.
Naruto seemed to have been waiting for Sasuke's response "Well I need a few magazines, but not just any magazines it needs to be something ehh risky." He said conspiratorially eying Sasuke with a strangely intense look.
Sasuke twitched again "You mean risqué right?"
Naruto nodded. "Yeah that!" he said like Sasuke was an idiot.
Sasuke nearly felt a migraine coming on. "Fine I can get you your magazines." Sasuke said with a sigh, the things he did for power...
Naruto grinned "Thanks Yusuke!" He said excitedly slapping Sasuke on the shoulder.
Sasuke did feel a migraine after all. Still the sooner he got this over with the better in his opinion.
Before he walked into the store, he henged into an older version of himself with brown hair surveying the magazine racks he picked up a copy of something called rustler, another called henhouse and a last one called jars. Placing the magazines on the counter he also brought up a cookbook and a few magazines bought them and walked out of the store with them in two separate paper bags.
"I hope you like your magazines; they were not cheap!" he said handing Naruto the bag with a sigh.
"Thanks Daisuke!" Naruto said gleefully picking up the bag with glee in his voice. "Hey do you want to get lunch? It's not really far from here so it would be really easy!" Naruto asked suddenly with a grin on his face.
"The name is Sasuke actually and sure I have some time." Sasuke said as he stared at Naruto's grin. "Where are you going for lunch?" Sasuke asked suddenly as the boy seemed to be making up his mind quickly as to where to go.
"There is this awesome little place I go to all the time you will love it! It is called Ichiraku's I have been going there since I was six!" Naruto said with a big grin.
Sasuke was quite frankly amazed that a child could be so excited about food but if that was what he wanted to do he wouldn't complain.
Still, he had done his part and was already burning daylight so…

Sasuke smiled despite himself every xp was another grain of dirt in his brother's grave. It made this, whatever the hell was happening almost bearable.
He thought of the boy leading him through Konoha for a moment. Naruto had a very wide variety of skills; some good like brawling and stealth some needed work like his subterfuge. Still Naruto was going to be useful in the future he now had the ultimate eye for talent after all keeping him around would likely be beneficial.
Naruto was chattering away to Sasuke about all the different types of food that were served at the place, mostly focusing on ramen which Sasuke was beginning to realize seemed to be an obsession of his new companion.
When they finally reached the shop a small Ramen bar from the look of it Naruto led Sasuke in where a brunette girl wearing a white waitress outfit came out from around the counter and greeted Naruto with a big hug; Sasuke was amused by how comfortable Naruto was around this girl. Naruto whispered something to her, and she turned to Sasuke with a smile.
"Hello Daisuke-san, nice to meet a friend of Naruto's." She said in an even voice. Naruto grinned innocently from behind the brunette girl. Who seemed to be only a few years older than the two of them thirteen or so if Sasuke had to guess.
Sasuke twitched. "My name is Sasuke actually. Naruto it would seem is developing dementia." he corrected.
"Hey! You are the demented one!" Naruto protested from behind the waitress, but the brunette simply shook her head with a slight smile on her face.
Sasuke quirked a brow that was likely true, but he still said the word wrong even though it was just said to him. Pinching the bridge of his nose with his finger and his thumb he decided to just let him have whatever minor victory that was.
Sasuke sat at one of the stools waiting for the blonde kid to settle down. Once Naruto was seated, he ordered two bowls of ramen; the blonde kid like a starving man ordered everything in sight as he wolfed down his food. Sasuke sat there quietly for a few minutes watching Naruto eat with his eyes popping out of their sockets at how fast the boy was eating.
Turning to the server he quirked an eyebrow at the girl as if to ask is he always like this? The brunette just smiled and gave a light nod. Sasuke shrugged and returned his attention back to the boy.
"So… why did you go out of your way to buy porn anyway?" He asked after a long pause.
Naruto nearly chocked on his ramen "N-not in front of Ayame nee-chan!" he said hastily spitting some ramen out of his mouth, turning red in the face.
Sasuke looked at the now named Ayame, her face was perfectly calm, too calm, in fact it was oddly menacing like the calm before the storm. "What is this about porn Naruto-kun?" Ayame asked a placid smile on her face as she looked at the whiskered boy with what should have been a beautiful smile.
Naruto's face paled "I- I don't know Nee-chan! P-Porn is bad Sasuke! You should never have anything to do with porn! Porn is bad!" Naruto said with an edge in his voice; his face was ghostly, and he looked like he was already crossing the Sanzu river.
Ayame simply nodded "You are right Naruto-kun, Porn is bad, very, very, bad, it gives growing young boys an unhealthy opinion of girls, you wouldn't look at porn would you Naruto-kun?" She asked with a slight smile.
Sasuke felt his blood chill slightly at her tone. It was a s sweet as Saccharin yet there was something hiding in its sweetness like the cyanide in an almond. He was already starting to understand where this was going. He said a small prayer for his blonde companion hoping he at least died a death befitting a shinobi.
"Uh-no Nee-chan; never seen one. No way hahaha..." Naruto said with a small squeak.
Ayame nodded again as if she was waiting for him to say more "Good, good Naruto-kun." Ayame said with an angelic smile "I know you would never grow up to be a pervert, that would just break my heart. You wouldn't want that would you Naruto-kun?" Ayame asked gently, like she was talking to a small child.
Naruto looked at her with wide eyes and slowly shook his head.
"Good, good Naruto-kun I don't want that either, if someone broke my heart, I would just break other things, and nobody wins in that situation." Ayame said with an odd smile; her eyes were like two small pinpoints of light as she stared at Naruto, it was like she was looking right into his soul.
Naruto gulped "I would never Nee-chan." He said quietly as his eyes went wide with terror and his face if possible, turned an even whiter shade of pale...
Ayame smiled brightly at the boy "That is what I like to hear Naruto-kun. Now you just keep eating and being a good boy and we will have no problems!" She said as she smiled at Naruto as if nothing had happened.
Sasuke slurped his ramen silently for a time, he had to admit it was quite good, far better than his earlier attempt of cooking omurice anyway. Still no tomatoes but tonkatsu was a fine enough thing for lunch he supposed. After he finished his first bowl he turned to the boy. Deciding to poke fun at him for a bit.
"Hey Naruto what's my name?" Sasuke asked, his voice deadly calm.
Naruto turned and looked at Sasuke as if he didn't recognize him "Um- well you are Sasuke-san."
Sasuke smirked "good remember it next time." he said.
Naruto's face was red "YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE?!" he squeaked.
Sasuke did not answer, in truth it had been an accident, but Naruto did not need to know that it was more entertaining this way. Despite this Naruto seemed amused.

Ayame just smiled and smiled.
Sasuke ate his remaining bowl in silence for a while until Naruto finished his third bowl of ramen and gulped down some water and went back to eating his now fourth bowl.
Sasuke watched him like a hawk wondering where he put it all he had already eaten three bowls. Naruto seemed to be on a one bowl per minute pace; Sasuke figured his absence of anything resembling a brain meant that there was instead a second stomach in his skull.
When Naruto was done eating Ayame took his dishes away and Sasuke ordered some lemon ginseng tea.
She quickly went back to the separate kitchen area returning a few minutes later all the while Naruto sat beside him slurping in a way that was quite frankly almost sickening.
As she came back with a pot of tea Sasuke almost sighed in relief that he was no longer the only one who had to hear the boy eating like a dog. She placed the teapot and a mug down in front of Sasuke with a gentle smile.
"Thanks, Ayame." Sasuke muttered. Not quite sure if he was thanking her for the tea or for joining him in his misery.
He then looked ovar at Naruto who seemed to be in a trance like state. Naruto didn't even notice the girl's exit from the kitchen or the tea being served, so focused was he on his noodles shaking his head Sasuke poured himself some tea realizing that he may be here for a while.
As Sasuke sipped his tea, he considered his next move no quests were coming so he really had no purpose in being here, besides killing time; he could use some training but if he remembered correctly his power did not really allow him to benefit by training. Still though he had to keep up appearances even if it would not benefit him, if he did not put forth the illusion of training suspicion would be unavoidable.
While he was considering his next move Ayame came back carrying three more bowls of ramen, each were in different color bowls. rolling his eyes Sasuke shook his head; If this was all he ate it was no wonder he was so much shorter than him.
After devouring those three bowls as well the beast that resided in Naruto's stomach finally seemed to be sated. Sasuke thought about what he would do next when Ayame returned to the room with two more bowls of ramen, red and blue this time.
Sasuke looked at the bowls and Naruto apparently finding his appetite. Deciding he was done with whatever this was Sasuke pulled out 300 ryo more than covering his share and placed it on the counter.
He promised himself he would never go eating with Naruto again. Catching Ayame's eye he gestured to the money he left she nodded and took it away.
"So, are you done yet?" he asked the blonde failing this time to hide his exasperation.
Naruto looked like he was struck. "You wouldn't get it. Nobody gets it." He said simply.
Sasuke arched a brow he felt a rant coming on.
"Ramen is the thing that binds the world of men, the broth symbolizes the vast complexity of life, every noodle is a thread of fate, the fishcakes float in an ocean of doubt always at risk of sinking to the base of their desires. They are like mortal men struggling to stay afloat in a world that wants them to vanish. While the boiled egg represents the futility of a life taken before its time and the bone used to make the broth demonstrates the futility of all things and how ultimately, we all will perish."
Was that supposed to mean anything?
"Are you all, right?' Sasuke asked simply.
Naruto just shrugged and muttered "you don't get it."
Ayame for whatever reason nodded along.
Sasuke hoped he never did honestly. He was not looking to join in with whatever this cult was. Just because his family was dead did not mean he was going to let himself be dragged into some weird quasi spiritual noodle thing.
"…Any way, why are you out of the academy now, aren't their classes today? Do your parents know you are skipping?" He asked lightly desperately trying to change the topic of conversation.
Naruto blinked at him; Sasuke did not miss the flicker of emotion on the boy's face, and he caught sight of a quick flash of sadness there that made him pause for a moment.
Naruto looked down at the ramen with a sigh "No-no, my mom and dad don't know where I am." He said simply. "I umm, well they don't know much of anything anymore I guess..." he said quietly.
Sasuke nodded slightly understanding that sort of feeling all too well.
'Is he?'
As if reading his thoughts Naruto added "I am an orphan, they died in the Kyuubi attack." He said looking up at Sasuke with pain filled eyes. "I never got to know them; I don't know anything about them over than that they were strong shinobi." He said with a quiet voice.
Sasuke's eyes widened slightly before he looked away, their circumstances were not the same, but they had both lost their families to tragedy. Sasuke understood that feeling all too well and that was reason enough.
Ayame for her part wore a pensive expression as she watched the blonde, her dark eyes faintly misty. She obviously had a fondness for him, but Sasuke was quickly coming to realize that one could not simply replace someone when they were gone, she was obviously trying to be there though in her way.
He hoped this was the right call.
"Come with me, Naruto," Sasuke said reaching out to the boy's shoulder. "We are going to train I did not know your parents, but I know mine would not want me sitting around doing nothing if they were still alive." Sasuke said as he rose from his seat.
Naruto's face brightened somewhat "Y-you think so?" he asked with wide eyes.
Sasuke nodded "They were ninja, if they died fighting the Kyuubi, they would want their son to be strong." He said bluntly. Holding his hand out to the blonde.
That is what his father had wanted after all.
He knew this boy was somewhat dull you just had to be blunt with to get through to him tact would do him no good.
Naruto seemed to like the answer. His face brightened even more as he grabbed Sasuke's hand and stood up with him, letting Sasuke pull him to his feet.

Sasuke just nodded his head and grabbed his bag.
"Thanks Nee-chan." Naruto said with a bright smile. The waitress just waved him off.
"Get out of here Naruto, and if you skip school again, I will brain you with a ladle!" Ayame said sternly but still smiling as she waved at the boy as she went back into the kitchen. The boy seemed surprised but hurried away from the restaurant to the sound of her laughter.

Sasuke followed him to the nearest training ground which was luckily vacant at this time of day; he had no desire to train alongside a bunch of other students or to be questioned by anyone else.
" S-So uhh what are we gonna do?" Naruto asked looking around like he was seeing the place for the first time.
Sasuke sighed " I need to get a feel for your abilities, tell me Naruto do you know any jutsu besides the academy three yet?" he asked.
Naruto looked away and Sasuke added "Not even one?" He asked concerned. Naruto did not answer.
'A-rank technique indeed.' He thought dryly.
"Hn, I see, then we have to start slow, do you know your elemental affinities?" He asked; he needed to know these things before he could begin to train him properly. Naruto shook his head.
Sasuke breathed in through his teeth he should have expected that, honestly. his father had taught him his affinity when he was still a toddler and had trained him in manipulating them Kaya-No-Hime had granted him her affinity, Naruto had no such benefit as an orphan and the academy did not teach it, often leaving it for the jonin sensei to teach.
"Then for today we will spar, when next we meet, we will determine your affinity and go from there."
Naruto nodded before he took on a contemplative look "Do you already know some elemental jutsu?'
Sasuke nodded slowly. "Then why not just show me them?" He asked tentatively.
Sasuke's eyes narrowed as he looked at him.
"Without knowing and training your affinity you will not be able to properly use them, Naruto. Your elemental affinities are like muscles in your body, they are vital to you as a ninja, and they must be trained to be used properly." He said calmly repeating what his father told him all those years ago.
Naruto nodded sagely like he was finally getting it. "That's all well and good, n all but you could just be taking out of your ass."
He didn't get it at all huh.
Sasuke once again twitched was he having a seizure?
" I will demonstrate a technique now to show you why elemental jutsu are important then we will spar, sound good?" He asked; Naruto nodded happily. "Then let us begin." Sasuke said as he began to move.
Facing a log in the training ground he flew through eight handsigns ending in tiger. He took a deep breath his chest swelling with warmth as he coated his lungs in chakra and converted the air into flame.
'KATON GOKAKYU NO JUTSU!' he mentally intoned as he forcefully breathed out a human sized ball of flame which shot out towards the log at a rapid pace before exploding on impact against the log causing it to burn under the reddish hue of the flames. The log kept its shape for a few brief moments before crumbling into charred ash as the fire died down.

Naruto leapt back a bit his eyes wide like saucers; his mouth hanging open as he stared at the ash.
Then he looked at Sasuke with his mouth still hanging open and whispered, "How did you do that?" he asked in shock. "That was incredible!" he added with a bit of awe in his voice.
Sasuke shrugged "It is one of my clans signature techniques, if I could not do this much, I would not deserve the crest I wear on my back." He explained gesturing to the clan symbol displayed proudly on his back.
"Tell you what though, if your affinity aligns and you master it before we graduate, I will teach you a fire jutsu."
Naruto nodded excitedly.
"Not that one, though it is an Uchiha technique." Sasuke thought to add.

The blonde grinned like a kid in a candy store as he took a running start, running full speed towards Sasuke as he gave a whoop of joy. The blond led with an obvious right jab.

Sasuke moved out of the way of the first punch easily and sent a backhand jab towards the blonde.

Naruto was blasted back by the punch as it collided with his head but seemed unharmed. Sasuke widened his eyes that durability was unreal. He had hit him hard enough to knock a normal person out.
He watched as Naruto landed on his feet like nothing happened then began to charge at him again with a furious look on his face as he kicked up at him.
Sasuke avoided the kick and grabbed Naruto by his foot. If punches were not enough, he had other options.

Securing his grip against the blonde's admittedly dogged resistance he spun him around up into the air before he slammed him bodily into the ground back first.

Naruto slammed hard into the ground knocking the air from his lungs as his own weight was used to bludgeon him against the earth. Naruto was unable to speak as he coughed and tried to catch his breath. Despite that he was still unhurt.
Sasuke's eyes widened in shock as Naruto managed to get back up, grinning like mad.
Sasuke matched his grin "Well if nothing else you are more durable than a training dummy." He said simply.
Naruto nodded before a challenging gleam entered his eyes, he then rushed Sasuke again and quickly attacked with a flurry of punches and kicks that were all parried effortlessly by Sasuke and his superior defense sensing an opening he moved in as soon as Naruto over extended.
He used his superior speed to get behind Naruto after the blonde, tried to hit him with a kick. Striking out Sasuke elbowed him forcefully to the back of his head.

Naruto stumbled forward and tried to turn to face Sasuke, but he wasn't done, lashing out Sasuke swung a kick at Naruto's face the speed too much for the blonde to match. His sandaled foot slammed into the blonde's cheek and sent him tumbling away.

Naruto cursed as he slammed into the ground before he slowly got up to his feet "How the Heck are you so fast!"
"I train a lot that's all, I have to get stronger that is all there is to it." Sasuke lied as he breathed.
"You really think I'm going to believe that?" Naruto said with a snort. "I train everyday!" He groused.
Sasuke arched a brow challengingly "Oh, looking at porn and slurping noodles is training now is it?"
Naruto laughed "You are a real asshole you know that?"
Despite himself Sasuke smirked a little at Naruto's words. He did not know how right he was.
"Enough of that, a better question would be how are you still standing? Most people would be unconscious by now." Sasuke replied before taking a small step back from Naruto to better assess his opponent.
Hs ability to shrug off hits while entertaining was beginning to lose its charm, added to the fact that the boy could not even seemingly hit him. Sasuke could only conclude that he needed a lot of work, and they were burning daylight as it is.
"Now come at me again." He ordered. Sasuke wanted to test himself; see how strong Naruto was in comparison to how strong he was. Stats and attributes are all well and good but seeing growth in person that made it real.
He wanted to see if Naruto could even make him break a sweat as he was now despite himself he was having something close to fun.
Naruto frowned and eyed him with narrowed eyes before taking another run at him.
As he ran Naruto reared back his fist before striking at Sasuke's head with a horribly telegraphed straight jab. Sasuke caught it with one hand and pushed Naruto's arm up then spinning with the arm clutched in his hands he bodily flung the boy over his shoulder into the ground.

Sasuke resisted the urge to smirk it had taken a few hits, but Naruto was finally beginning to take damage.
Naruto slammed into the ground with a heavy thud; like he'd been smashed down with a hammer. It took a moment for him to process the fact that he was on the floor and Sasuke was standing over him.
Sasuke looked down at him with an amused look in his eyes and walked over to stand over Naruto's prone body. "Now," he started "Let's try this again, do you realize what you did wrong?"
Naruto panted a little taking a break from the effort of trying to get up "Nah, that was pretty good though." He said trying to sound like he wasn't struggling to catch his breath.
Sasuke gave him a deadpan look before shaking his head and motioning towards the ground. "You telegraphed your attack too much; a blind man could have seen it coming; you also swung in too wide of a motion. If I were an enemy, you would have never gotten up from the ground." He said in a bored voice.
"Next time," He started before sighing "Try to get closer before you draw your hand back. Or better yet feint. You are not fast enough to hit me, and you are too obvious in your intent as you are now." He said simply.
Naruto gave him a wry grin before rolling over onto his stomach and putting his hands on the ground in front of him to push himself back up to his feet.
Sasuke watched him with narrowed eyes; his arms crossed in front of himself as he watched Naruto struggle to get back up. "That was a good effort though. At least you are not afraid of getting hurt." He said simply as Naruto struggled to get to his feet and then fell back down again.
This time it took him longer to get back up again, as his breathing had been ragged from his previous effort. Finally, he succeeded in getting back up. Naruto was breathing heavily now; not from exhaustion, they had not used any chakra but from the pain.
"Let's do that once again, I can still go one more time." He said in a strained voice.
Sasuke nodded, internally he was grinning that attitude would serve him well. Naruto looked like he was about ready to fall over when he charged forward again and jumped in the air towards Sasuke, ready to strike. He appeared to listen only throwing his fist out at the last possible moment, it wasn't enough though.

Pushing the blonde's right hand down after he attempted a vicious haymaker Sasuke jammed his knee into Naruto's gut as his balance was off and his momentum was forcing him forward. The knee connected with a heavy impact Sasuke practically felt his guts shifting at the point of impact. Pulling away he watched as the blonde stumbled half a step and then fell flat on his face.

Naruto's face slammed into the ground as he choked on his own spit. he had felt that one Sasuke liked to think. As the blond rolled around in the grass cursing.
Grumbling Naruto eventually recovered and rolled away from Sasuke and stumbled to his feet. His footing more than slightly uneasy.
"So... how does the ramen taste coming back up Naruto?" Sasuke joked.
Inside he was grinning the blonde had been nothing but a headache so far, a little payback could not be held against him.
"Pfft very funny, you're a real a- ow!" Naruto winced. "You hit way harder than the other guys in the academy." Naruto mumbled clutching at his gut.
Sasuke was slightly impressed; he had managed to get up despite being knocked flat by a rising knee he hadn't held back on that one at all.
Sasuke simply smirked. "Let's call it here for today, work on building up some more speed, you are okay for now in grappling but not fast enough to keep up with me." He said matter-of-factly.
Naruto nodded in acceptance of the advice before his face suddenly paled. He turned to Sasuke with a severe expression on his face.
"H-hey Sasuke did you happen to grab my magazines when we left Ichiraku's?" He asked his eyes wide with panic.
Sasuke looked like he had just found something extremely interesting on the ground. In truth he was praying he remembered to grab his own books but if Naruto left them there... then the blonde was as good as dead.
"Sasuke... are they here?" Naruto asked.
Sasuke rather than answer simply turned and grabbed his own bag his relief obvious. Before giving the blonde a very slight nod. "My condolences."
Naruto ran from the training ground screaming back towards Ichiraku's if he didn't survive; at least he would be able to see his parents again.
'It would be for the best.' Sasuke thought as he wandered his way back home.
If he survived the torture, the amount he would suffer would be immense, it would be a mercy if it killed him.
So, with a sigh he walked towards the town gates and headed home. It was a long walk but one he enjoyed; the sun was out in full now and all he had left to do today was meet up with Inoichi later.
He was making good progress, he could feel it, a few years at this pace and he would be greater than his brother ever was. He just had to be careful, as he was now, he was still too weak, but if given time to grow, to mature with this power he would succeed. The trick was to not get greedy not to be careless, he was walking on eggshells a single slip and he would lose his grip. But if given time, no one would be able to shake him loose.
Naruto was obviously important in some way the amount of XP gained for associating with him had made that abundantly clear, his treatment by the village and status as an orphan was also going some way towards painting a clear picture, he just didn't have all the details yet. The lines were beginning to fill in however.
He was an orphan, he was someone who was apparently important, his parents were apparently Shinobi that might be a good lead to start from. He had a frankly ridiculous amount of physical stamina, and his parents had died during the Kyuubi attack. He said he had no parents left so he had not been adopted, even though he seemed to be a nice enough kid, a little annoying sure, but a kid with some potential like him would have been adopted, wouldn't he? Perhaps he was overthinking this, but the relationship gains with question marks certainly invited some investigation did they not? At the very least that was certainly suspicious.
When he arrived home, he walked inside; once inside he closed the door behind him before walking to his living room, where he decided he would look over the Jutsu scrolls he was given from his last quest.
Going down to the basement storage of his compound he found them in one of the trunks his family kept down there alongside the scroll filled with human hair which he still had no clue as to what uses it held.
Sasuke unrolled them and looked at the various seals and writings carefully there was of course a scroll for the fireball jutsu and phoenix flower technique, which he already knew, but there was also two B-rank fire jutsu, one c-rank fire jutsu, and a C-rank earth jutsu among them setting those aside to learn later he looked through the remaining scrolls; and found a few shuriken-jutsu as well that would come in handy.
Picking up the C-rank earth jutsu he found out it was called Doton Toride No Ishi or earth style fort of stone and apparently upon mastery it would allow the user to build vast bunker systems above or below ground and allow them to quickly construct walls of stone to block attacks flashing his sharingan over the technique subtly the knowledge of how to perform it flooded him from the hand signs to the applications.
The first B-rank fire jutsu was a complex little number from what he could tell, it was called Katon hotaru no haka or firestyle grave of fireflies. And it like hosenka no jutsu spewed out small flames that could explode but in this case the flames were little more than embers with ash wings and bodies that resembled fireflies apparently though when triggered they would all detonate in micro explosions the technique started weak but if mastered could decimate up to a 40 meter area with micro explosions strong enough to kill even Kage level ninja if caught in the blast zone. Flashing his eyes discreetly his power once again memorized the technique as if he had seen it cast in front of him.
Doing the same for the shuriken jutsu he was rewarded with his weaponry skill increasing 2 points.
The second B-rank fire jutsu was one well known amongst the elite of his clan the Goryuka no Jutsu or Great Dragon Fire technique. It created a single heavy gout of flame shaped like a dragon that could crush through rocks and men before being detonated. It like the other techniques started weak but had immense potential especially against the earth element. Which it could crush through before detonating making it an excellent anti defense technique. Once more he gazed upon the scroll his sharingan concealed.
The C-rank fire technique was a common Uchiha support technique blending well with the wire shuriken technique his clan fought with. Katon Ryuka no Jutsu or the dragon fire technique. It at low levels required a wire or other transmission device to be used but upon mastery could apparently be guided up to 60 meters away by chakra alone. Unlike the fireball it is more precise attacking in a narrow 2-person wide line rather than an area of effect.
Satisfied with his progress he decided to just train until Inoichi arrived.
Going outside and pretending to practice with the jutsu he had read in the scrolls would be his best bet he figured. It wouldn't do for him to get sloppy and use the techniques without visibly training in them.
He would of course conveniently get them down by the time Inoichi arrived. In a way he was grateful to his brother… Due to Itachi's own absurd growth, his own would be far more believable, almost expected really. After what he endured throwing himself into 'training' would also be perfectly understandable. His brother had done the very same after awakening his Sharingan when his team had been attacked on a mission after all. No not only was he expected to grow it would be far more suspicious to whoever was watching him if he chose not to train. With that in mind he clutched the selection of scrolls in his hands and walked outside to train, may as well give whoever was watching him a good show.

Katon Goryuka/ Great Dragon Fire B-rank 3000 CP 1/10- A prized Uchiha technique capable of crushing through most barriers and then exploding in a blaze of agony. At current mastery the dragon formed by this technique is 3 meters in size ignores 3 points of armor from a structure and explodes for 3 aggravated damage in a 3 meter radius.
Katon Hotaru No Haka/Fire style Grave of Fireflies B-rank 3000 CP 1/10- The legacy of Uchiha Tenkai, this technique earned him the moniker of light bearer in his youth. At current level 12 small fireflies flutter out to a range of 15 yards before exploding for 3 aggravated damage in a 3 meter radius.
Katon Hosenka/ Phoenix Flower Jutsu C rank 1000 CP 2/10- A popular Uchiha technique. At current mastery it launches 4 small fireballs to a max distance of 14 yards and effects a four yard area each fireball does 1 aggravated damage and requires 5 defense to avoid.
Katon Ryuuka/ Dragonfire C-rank 1000 cp 1/10- A popular Uchiha support technique utilizing shuriken and ninja wire as a guide at lower levels. At current mastery it has a maximum distance of 10 yards and deals 2 aggravated damage.
Doton ishi no niku/Earth Style Stone Flesh C-rank 1000cp 1/10-an earth technique well prized for its survival enhancing properties by Iwagakure shinobi. The technique at lowest level hardens the users skin but upon mastery and experience it also hardens muscles, blood vessels, and bones for superior protection.100 cp per minute to maintain at level one it offers 2 armor against Lethal, Blunt, and aggravated damage and half of this rating against lightning.
Doton Ishi no Toride /Earth Style Fort of Stone C-rank 1000 cp per meter length 1/10- creates a wall 1 foot thick and 3 meters tall at current level can make slits walls and stone doors as well above or below ground a fort building technique.
Raiton Yama no Yubi/ Lightning style fingers of the mountain C-rank 1000 CP.1/10- A potent swift moving bolt of Lightning fired from two fingers. A precise long ranged jutsu well suited for assassinations. Used predominantly by hunter nin of Kumogakure for its speed and accuracy. At level 1 the bolt of lightning deals 2 lethal damage, has a range of 30 meters and requires 5 defense to dodge.
Henge no jutsu/ transformation technique D rank 500 cp 10 cp per minute 7/10 At your current mastery your henge is very impressive and all but the most minor details are perfectly aligned, this level of mimicry is nigh perfect with only slight variances in expression capable of giving it away.
Kawarimi no jutsu/substitution tachnique D-rank 500 cp ?/? by praying to the sacred tree from which all logs descend a log will sacrifice its life for your own teleporting to your aid and gently pushing you away from harm.
Bunshin no jutsu/ clone technique D rank 50 cp per clone 7/10 throw a fashion show with them sometime that is about all they are good for.
Merits
Lying Eyes- A merit that conceals your sharingan activation, whenever you so choose you can use your dojutsu without revealing it granting all the advantages. Doubles chakra cost of Sharingan when used.
Desperado- Yours truly is a fool's quest, but you do not give up. You have a reputation as a desperately reckless sort but in an almost admirable way. You suffer no relationship penalty for acting in your choleric nature. As an added benefit when the chips are down and things are dire take +1 to all physical stats. A desperado goes down fighting tooth and nail.
Pain and hunger- You saw something few others could possibly relate to when you were little more than a child you were tormented for weeks on end in a hellish genjutsu that showed your beloved brother killing everyone you loved over and over again. You will not hesitate to kill you cannot afford to. take a plus 1 to hit rolls in life-or-death situations.
Sharingan 3 Tomoe- you have mastered the eyes of your vaunted clan at this level the Sharingan grants double to defense when active, plus 6 to your hit roll through prediction ability, and plus 12 to genjutsu resistance rolls. In addition to these abilities A fully evolved Sharingan allows you to memorize any seen technique, can see through mist/smoke and walls, can see through chakra mist/smoke and earth, can permanently hypnotize people, and can cast any genjutsu from D to A rank seallessly and as if you were a grandmaster. These bonuses only apply when the Sharingan is active. 100cp to activate plus 100 cp per minute.
Eye of insight- Tied to the Sharingan this is the name for the predictive abilities granted, it enhances your perception of time allows you to predict movement, read lips, and recall with clarity anything you see when using the Sharingan. This predictive ability peerless when engaged in one-on-one combat and made the Uchiha feared opponents in any duel.
Eye of Hypnotism- The feared genjutsu abilities of a mastered Sharingan are terrifying indeed and known genjutsu can be cast from your eyes up to and including A-rank with no hand signs and as if fully mastered. In addition to this the eye of hypnotism grants hypnotic powers and the ability to read and influence thoughts. It can be used to suggest actions to an opponent, and gain insight into them. By using mental suggestion, you have a social advantage against others adding a plus 3 to manipulation and presence-based rolls, this bonus is challenged by an opponent's subterfuge and composure vs your subterfuge and composure if successful the mental manipulation succeeds. This influence is exceptionally subtle and is more of a mind ability than a pure genjutsu. Can even read memories or alter them though this ability takes time and is obvious to the person under it. Therefore, they need to be restrained or under genjutsu.
Eye of Twilight- The Sharingan has another vaunted ability though the cost of its use is high at the cost of an eye an Uchiha can escape death by rewriting reality itself for a few moments. Permanently blinds an eye when used. Izanagi takes his toll for the creation and preservation of life both.
Godly Earth affinity- Kaya-No-Hime favors you as the champion of the Goddess of fields and medicine you have gained her earth affinity! All earth jutsu cost 10 percent what is shown and stone can be used in any way imagined. makes stone summoning and clones permanent if they are not already so and allows rock clones and golems to repair themselves with natural energy.
Peak Fire Affinity- Ember in bone fire in blood the Uchiha were the inferno given form. No other clan was as enamored with the frenzied flame as your own. All fire jutsu cost 25 percent the normal amount and fire is very easy to control. An awakened sharingan allows one to manipulate fire jutsu in enviable and deadly ways.
High lightning affinity- lightning techniques cost 50 percent less to cast sharingan allows lightning to be more focused.
Curse of Hatred- Something, something burn in hell lord second, pay it no mind. Just know that some others will blame trauma on your eyes rather than events that caused it.

That is, it for this update. It took quite a while, but I do not think I missed anything. Soak unlike some forms of armor goes down after repeated hits think of it like tenderizing a steak, so I figured I would clarify this early and show an example of combat. Do you like seeing the rolls or do you prefer them being hidden? I ask because I always like to see the math and stat crunching, but I am a tabletop guy. More interested in systems than a lot of things.
Probably two or so chapter to go before the time skip and we start to really get into things.
Naruto at this point in time does not really know Sasuke so neither of them have the whole rivalry thing going yet, we will see if that lasts going into the academy.
Sasuke also in his more manipulative nature gained from raising his social stats just flat out said the words Naruto always wanted to hear from others. By acknowledging Naruto's dream for the future he has effectively cemented Naruto's trust in him. Furthermore, by training with him Naruto is not going to slip the academy as much and may just actually learn something we shall see.
This is one of my main reasons for writing this fic honestly, all too often despite gaining wisdom and intelligence points or charisma or whatever nothing ever changes, they do not become more manipulative or even more wise. Which makes me question why such stats are included.
This may affect team assignments, but I am not decided on that yet, but I do want Sasuke to go to wave because I have plans for that place.
Some may argue Naruto would not fall for that. I think he would, let me explain why I have five main points.
Reason number 1 He bought Kabuto's and Mizuki's acts hook line and sinker all the way back in part one. Mizuki was obvious as hell. Kabuto while slightly better still slipped a few times. Naruto was nearly thirteen here.
Reason number 2 Iruka has not done his whole dolphin bonding ritual with Naruto yet.
Reason number 3 The first thing Sasuke did when meeting him in this fic was help him out for selfish reasons sure, but Naruto does not know that.
Reason number 4 Sasuke offered to train him in things Naruto does not yet know. Naruto wants power the same as Sasuke that is canon. Think of how he reacted in part 1 when Sasuke got Chidori, even though he got training by a sannin and signed a summon contract, or in how he trained under the pervy Jiraiya who wanted him to use the sexy jutsu in return for training. Compared to Kakashi Sasuke has already nearly taught him more about chakra than Kakashi did for the whole of part 1. Compared to Jiraiya Sasuke has not stolen his wallet or asked him to train as a naked girl. Point being as far as mentors go Sasuke really does not have to try too hard to pass that low bar.
Reason number 5 He has not had the bad experiences yet in canon that would give him any reason not to trust Sasuke, Mizuki did not happen yet, Kabuto did not happen yet, he is a naïve kid still.
