Chapter 15: Oh No You Didn't!

Kairi walked down the Gummi ship garage.

Her and Namine were walking in silence, the only thing was heard was the repetitive machines working the Gummi ships.

Suddenly the lights shut off and the machines stopped.

"Uh oh…" Namine whispered.

"Uh oh is right my dear darlings, what a tangle web we weave my friends."

A strange woman's voice said loud enough for us to hear and turn to every corner to look for a face or a movement.

Then a bunch of heartless surrounded the two frightened girls.

"We're not afraid of you!" Kairi yelled.

Namine put her hand to cover her mouth over Kairi's ear and replied

"We-We're not?"

Kairi whispered back

"Ummm, I think….right?"

This conversation continued on for another 4 minutes.

"OK I GET IT! YOUR NOT SCARED BUT YOU SCARED OF THE FACT YOUR SCARED BUT YOUR NOT AFRAID OF BEING SCARED! I GET IT! NOW CAN I KID NAP YOU!?"

The woman known as Maleificent appeared out of the black fog.

She snapped her fingers and the heartless disappeared.

Namine was suddenly pulled back as she fell and someone dragged her by her shirt.

"You better get off me! I KNOW KARATE!" she screamed.

Kairi's PoV

I tried to reach my hand out to her but it was no use because someone had a good hold on me as well.

"HELP!" Namine scram.

Then a light turned on and we could see shadows of knights running down the stairs.

"Oh no deary, you woke the guards…well time to go."

"WAIT! NO…STOP!" I scram as I suddenly disappeared with the mysterious woman, all I knew was her name was maleficent. I knew nothing about her, except for a useless name.

I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck and then my eyelids got tired and all I remembered was seeing three figures running towards us.

The last thing I had on my mind before I was unconscious was

"Sora…." In a dull whisper.

3rd PoV

Maleficent touched Kairi's neck and she dropped to the ground when maleficent saw the key bearer and his 2 companions.

Before he saw kairi she quickly stepped over kairis body as her cape was flowing out and covered her.

"Maleficent!" Sora scram.

"Oh is it Sora and his 2 lackys."

Sora then leaned on his keyblade and checked his finger nails.

"so….wanna do this the regular or the weekly special?"

"Oh your so clever your higness….but I brought you a present."

"That is too nice, you shouldn't have"

"Oh but I wanted to, It was fun."

She then stepped away and put a force field over a kairi's body.

"…KAIRI!?"

Sora ran to her body.

"sorry I didn't have tim to rap it for you."

She looked so helpless laying on the ground with her eyes sheltered from her eyelids.

"What did you do?" Sora scram trying to break through the force field, he did everything in his power.

"Oh my It's Kairi! Aghhh lets help her Sora!" Maleficent mimicked Sora and acted like him then let out the worst cackle in the world.

A tear slowly slid down his face.

He thought he protected her, he thought she was safe, not knowing she was going to get hurt.

Suddenly there was a stir in Kairi and Sora's face lite up in some way.

Kairi opened her eyes slowly and tried to hellp herself up but she couldn't.

Which caused her to fall back to the ground.

Then her vision unblurred and her hearing and the rest of her senses all came back to her.

She then supported her self and sat up slowly and put her hand on her head.

"Kairi?" a familiar voice that made kairi's heart beat a million times faster and her pupils to dilate.

She slowly turned around and Sora was standing there beating on a force field.

Maleficent turned her head to Kairi's direction.

Kairi still had a bit of blur in her eyes she also felt extremely weak.

Malifent went inside of the force field causing it to become bigger.

"Now that won't do princess…"

Maleficent said while picking kairi up with one hand byt the throat.

Kairi struggeled quite a lot.

She tried so hard to catch her breath and she tried to open maleficents hands but she was not successful due to the fact this woman had a death grip and kairi was not strong enough yet.

At the corner of her eyes was Sora and he was screaming and beating on the forcefield with everything he had.

Kairi could tell his fist were white and bloody from beating on the invisible force field.

Kairi then started to get light headed again and her vision started to blur as maleficent held tighter and as she did Kairi winced and her hands dropped to her sides.

Then out fo no where a little razor shaped like a star sliced at Maleficents hand.

"AGHH!" the witch scram as she dropped kairi right on her stomach which kairi couldn't even get up.

Sora ran to Kairi as the force field broke and heheld her in his arms and just cried into her stomach.

"BINGO!" someone shouted.

It was no other then yuffie.

Maleficent then chickled and disappeared.

"Sora, I'll be back for her. But don't worry I want you to see it, so I shall summon you."

Kairi was passed out again.

Aerith ran to her side.

"Oh I almost forgot" said maleficent.

She snapped her fingers and a dark smoke went inside kairi's slightly open mouth.

Then maleficent disappeared all the way now.

"Sora, don't worry, I can heal her, she will be back to normal in no time." Said the sweet voice.

"Ok aerith…"

Sora sid while helping aerith.

She took a potion from yuffies pocket and oured it over kairi, but right before it hit kairi a shield rejected the potion as it just slid off of kairi, it wasn't doing anything.

"What…what's happening Aerith?"

Sora asked worried.

"Maleficent must have put the dark spell on kairi."

Yuffie said while joing the three and looked at kairi then at aerith.

"Right aerithy?"

she asked.

"I'm afraid so…"

"Sora you must continue your journey, we will take care of Kairi, all of us, Leon, cid, Merlin, cloud, yuffie, and I."

"I guess…here lets bring her to merlins house." Sora said as he picked her up bridal style as they walked to the house.

"So…. she'll be okay?" Sora asked while lifting her with ease while staring at her small figure curled up into his chest.

'Of course, she is just unconscious for the lack of air."

They soon arrived at Merlins small yet cozy shelter.

Sora carefully put Kairi down on the bed and took a seat while putting his chin in his hands and thought while staring intently at Kairi's sleeping form.

"Sora!"

Sora jumped up to face leon who had a straight face and aierth with a very worried one.

"what?" he asked

"we have been trying to call you but you didn't respond."

"I'm sorry, just a little shakey."

"well, we thought you two would need sometime, so we're going to the lab if you need us you can radio us ok?"

asked leon.

"uhh…sure ok."

The Hallowbastion restoration committee crew all walked out and shut the door slightly.

Sora's PoV

I sat down as I looked at her. She had a few scraps and bruises. She had a huge bruise on her neck and it went to her back.

I grabbed her lifeless body and made sure I didn't touch the soar spot as I hugged her and cryed into her neck.

"I'm so sorry…Kairi….I-I Love you"

"Then why did you leave me?"

Sora looked at her with her eyes slightly opened and breathing heavy.

I still had my grip on her because if I didn't then she would surely fall back.

"Kairi…I am the key bearer I'm the kid who was born in a one floor house on an island with my mother. You were born god know's where but in a huge gigantic castle and you're a princess. They would kill me for confessing my love for you.

"Sora this isn't the 1800's! I need you though….you have no clue…..no clue." As tears fell and her head fell lower. All it took was one blink and they were dripping down onot my hand.

"Kairi…I do have a clue, not just the clue I have the whole problem…I know, you love me so much and I love you like woah!"

"I just want to go back….back to when the world was right…." She whispered and she fell back asleep.

Crying really steals your energy big time, she probably feel into a deep sleep.

I couldn't help but replay the way her face cracked in my head.

Tears were unleasdhed as I wanted to change the world to make it right, the way we want it to be.

I took my neckalace and put it onto her small body, I lefted her up gentle and put the neckalace onto her small frame and layed her back down. How much she changed fromt eh last time I saw her in 8th grade.

How much I wanted to touch those soft small lips of hers. Or put my hand in her strawberry locks. I wanted to but the risk was to high.

I had to pull myself away from her, even though I'd rather die then do this, it was the only way to save her.

I got up off my knees took one last look at Kairi and started walking towards the door. As I opened the door I took one last look at her as if I might of forgot who she was or what she looked like.

"You must really love her…"

I averted my attention towards to the voice.

"Leon, I don't know what to do anymore, she's the only thing that keeps me going, but without her…"

"What do you mean? She's not going anywhere." Leon said with a small smirk on his lips.

"You're right." Just because we are not dating does not mean that we are not in love. My love for her will never die….wow, that sounded cheesy…" Sora said while he slightly blushed.

"Yeah, it did, but being cheesy is what love is all about." Leon explained while leaning on the doorway,

"Cause Leon is the expert on love right?" I started to laugh and he just grinned.

"well…you should get going, we will protect her. I promise." Leon said putting his hands on Sora's shoulders.

"thanks." Sora said with one last look at the sleeping Beauty and took off to where Donald and goofy were standing by the ship arguing about something. After explaining we were all off to the next place.

Kairi's PoV

Isnt it weird how sometimes when you're right about to wake up all your senses come back one at a time. First its your ears, then it's your smell, next your taste, and last your sight.

I sat up while feeling achey.

"Was any of that for real or not?"

"Oh that was very real my dear."

"Huh?"

I looked over and Prince Peter was sitting in the chair next to the window.

"You!" I screamed while getting up tripping a little and going to run out of the room and then mysteriously 2 black heartless came out of the ground and blocked the door.

"Oh Sweety, you don't know who you are dealing with now do you?"

"What do you want?"

Wow that was a stupid question.

"Wow, you honestly don't know by now? Are we a little slow?"

"If you are talking about me that's a bit played out much." I said with a bit a bitchyness in my voice…okay maybe a lot.

"Alright Princess, my patience is wearing thin. And you don't want to see what happens when my patience wears thin." He threatned while backing me into a wall.

The only thing I knew to do was self defense…

"HUK PUT!" I spit into his face and a big nasty one to.

As I said before self…defense…right?

"3-2-1..TIMES UP!"

I shut my eyes preparing for the worst.

Then nothing happened but I did hear a keychain clinking.

"You better lower your hand or I'll lower it for you…."

I slowly opened my eyes.

"If it's not the little boy and his key!" Peter chuckled and turned around and right as he did, Sora punched him square in the face.

"I warned you…"

"Kairi…you okay?" Sora asked me.

"Yeah…" I responded with my head down low in shame.

Sora took his fingers to raise my chin…

Then Peter went to swing and Sora ducked and squatted while he stuck out his leg and tripped him to the ground and got a good grip on his ankles.

Peter looked up and said "Uh-Oh."

Sora gave him an evil grin and threw him into the wall outside of Kairi's room.

Sora ran after him but heartless came out of nowhere and Sora took off his jacket and threw it to the ground safe in the distance.

I went to see what was happening and Peter grabbed my wrist and started to drag me away.

I couldn't scream for Sora…I wasn't that useless.

"Let go of me!"

"Or what?" he said while turning around.

I sucked him square in the other eye.

"Now your eyes match ha ha ha!" I said while standing there proud and excited.

Then he grabbed my ankle and pulled me to the ground I spit on him again throwing punches at him.

And Sora taught me how to punch so they were not bad.

He stood up and pulled me up

Sora Scram "Kairi!"

and then Peter backhanded my face so hard I fell to the ground.

I put my hand over my face, it took the wind out of me for a second or two.

Then Sora started screaming and light covered him and he wouldn't stop changing.

He started to go pitch black, he kind of looked like a dark heartless.

Then he started to do bad damage to all of the heartless and Peter.

"This isn't over!" Peter started to scream while disappearing.

Sora then switching back to normal fell to his knees.

I ran over to him and looked him in the eyes to search for the real Sora.

He was panting very hard and coaughing.

"Sora…?" I said quietly

He looked up at my face and he cracked he looked back down and put his hands over his eyes and started to sob.

"Sora!?"

He then stood up and started to walk away.

He was covering up his sobs and got up and just kept walking away.

"Excuse me? Am I invisible?!"

I asked a bit annoyed.

"No, but I failed and I have to go."

"How did you fail!? Huh? Tell me! Because all you've been doing is coming and going! You think you are the only one to get hurt by this situation!"

Both of suddenly stopped.

"Your welcome Kairi for saving you." He said while turning around and turned around again and kept walking.

"Oh thanks mister touch guy. But guess wut? I am a big girl Sora! Stop trying to act like you know whats best for me! You are NOT my father if you haven't noticed!"

"Okay you know what? You are not a big girl Kairi, you are in fact a small girl, you are a little girl with little knowledge."

"What is that suppose to mean!? I excelled in school dumbass!"

"Sometimes it's a little more then book work."

They kept on walking away.

"Are you saying I am ignorant?" She asked while stopping again.

"No but you are somewhat dumb."

"Can you turn around and talk to me like a fucking normal person!?" I started to scream and I do NOT use swear words a lot.

"What do you want me to say?" He walked back to me.

"Why did you failed?"

"Numero uno!" He stuck up one finger.

"I let you get hit. AND…!"

He stuck up another finger.

"Numero DOS!"

"I let myself become a heartless!"

"HAPPY NOW!?"

"OH yes Sora, I'm jumping with joy!!!"

"Good, see you around!" He was walking away as thunder was heard. And lightining was seen against the walls from the huge windows.

He was now walking out the front door.

People were wondering what was happening, by silently looking.

I followed him outside as rain began to fall over both of us.

Sora's PoV

"SORA!"

the way she said my name made chills go down my spin.

Oh yeah, she was pissed now.

"Don't you DARE walk away from me!" She screamed standing at the end of the outside stairs of the castle.

Even though rain was falling I knew she was crying.

I felt bad now of all the things I said, it hit me like a keyblade to the heart…and trust me, I knew how that felt.

I started to walk towards her.

Kairi's PoV

We sat there starring at eachother.

Some people came out to watch what the yelling and commotion was all about Including my friends.

Sora then broke down and fell to his knees and buried his face into my uperstomach underneath my chest. I could hear him crying so hard he was choking.

"Im so sorry…" He whispered for only me to hear.

"It's alright." I said while comforting him while rubbing the back of his head.

We were so rapped up in each other that we forgot it was raining.

He was crying and I knew he was in pain. Because in order for Sora to cry, it took a lot.

I looked down at him on his knees and I pulled his head away extremely gently.

I gave him my "I love you so much it hurts" Look.

And I kissed him so passionetly.

We broke apart as we heard people clapping behind us.

I looked up it was mostly our friends.

I looked back at him and started to kiss him more.

He then stood up and hugged me.

We both walked into the castle, but what we did not know was Peter was looking out of the window to the castle on the highest floor.

I had a lot of stress lately I was recently admitted to Four Winds, it's a hospital for depression and all that stuff..
