13. Author's notes

For those thinking that this is one of those dreaded posts where an author confesses that he/she will write no more, fear not my friends! This is just me felling very ashamed of myself for taking so long to post the following chapter (13 is that lucky number) and promissing that, on all that I respect, I'll be working on it... its just that I've just returned from a long, long journey through the land of the pharaohs and now it takes some time to 'return' to middle-earth. Bear with me and please forgive me... it will be worth it ;)
