Polar opposites

Yami and hikari

I am the light that purifies and exudes

You are the darkness that destroys and consumes

Contradictory to each other

Yet complimenting each other also

Separated we are unbalanced

Together we even out

It is said without dark there is no light

Light is only light when there is dark to distinguish it

It is truly fitting

To have one is to have the other

Opposing sides to the same coin

And like the coin we shall be
