Love is only complicated because it's made up of simple, yet unforgettable moments.
Roy doesn't reminisce about saving an entire city alongside Dick, or the about all of the times they kissed. He misses the little things like when Dick would come over to his house. Dick would help Roy with his homework, and vice versa. They would have microwaved left-over chili, share a coke, and play the Atari. He could always kick Dick's ass at the Atari. . .
Like love, the future always seemed complicated to Roy, but with Dick, it seemed simpler. . . brighter.
