Roy thought that it only happened in movies, but now he realized that it was possible to become reality.
He remembered Dick holding Lian's hand while they crossed the street, Dick cutting the crust off of Lian's sandwich, and Dick holding a wet rag to Lian's forehead when she had a fever. He remembered Dick always being there for Lian...and him.
And now, watching Lian fall asleep leaning on Dick's shoulder, he knew...
He knew that Lian and Dick were the people that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
