Chapter 2: Fatty's musings

I ponder over today's events while sitting on a fence,

The birds fly high, the bees go by, my concentration stands.

Rumbling footsteps sound, and the earth begins to shake.

Word quickly gets around, and eyes and ears soon ache.

-

Mount Everest strides into view, looming high above the sky.

Oh wait! Look close! I'm wrong it seems; I really want to cry.

Coming straight towards me is a big raspberry pie.

-

The face is round, with eyes of frog,

The buttons one by one all pop.

The man swells up like a big balloon,

Looking like a big buffoon.

-

The dimwit tries his best to compete,

But he and I know who will die.

My remarks are far superior,

I leave him stunned and know who's better.

-

The bobby just can't match up to me,

And the sad thing is— he knows it too.

Even little Bets unknowingly lets

The light of the mystery shine through.

-

The criminals apprehended and put behind bars,

The mystery is solved in the hols at last.

At the end of the day, as Jenks comes to say,

We did all the work; Goon just got in the way.
