One More Drink

Summary: Casey goes to a bar to reflect after "Serendipity".
"Pour me another one," Casey commands over the usual bar noise. As a sign of her growing impatience, she taps her glass against the bar's hard surface. She's already had too much to drink, but she's not about to stop. She was supposed to work in White Collar. The motives were simple. The evidence was clear-cut. The case and its details never dominated her thoughts after she got the conviction. She's not cut out for Special Victims cases. What was Branch thinking? How can she want this?

She raises her head to meet the bartender's gaze. "Just pour me another."
