Kagome stared up at her ceiling. She didn't know why she couldn't sleep. She ran home after she saw Inuyasha with Kikyou.. She took a nice long hot bath in her own bathtub, ate a home cooked meal her mother made. She didn't know why she couldn't sleep. She guessed it had to do with the food, she'd be so used to eating in the feudal era that her stomach didn't sit well with the normal food.
Kagome turned over on her side and watched her cat play with it's tail. She smiled at it before deciding just to close her eyes and wait for sleep to take her.
Dream
"Hey Kagome!" Sango said as she ran up to kagome. "Heya Sango, it's nice to be back with the group." She hugged her sister and pulled her back to the group. "Hey Kagome!" Miroku shouted at her. She smiled at the perverted monk before taking her place around the fire. "Kagome. What are you doing in Kikyou 's seat?" Inuyasha said to her. Kagome stared up at Inuyasha before stuttering out an apology and moving next to Sango. Kikyou sat beside Inuyasha and gave her a cold glare. "Kagome, Would you like your soul back?" she said. "Uh, yes.. I would." kagome mumbled out. "Well, I'd like the rest of my soul, You.. Won't get what you want, I on the other hand.." she let the sentence trail off before standing up and grabbing her bow and arrow. "Will get what I want." and with that she shot her.
End Dream
Kagome woke up in a cold sweat, she didn't know why she dreamt of what happened that night. She thought she forgot it.
Kagome got up and walked to her closet. She pulled out a long robe and a few throwing knives no one knew about. She pulled out a thigh belt for the throwing knives and put it on Kagome dressed and ran out of her house into the well.
Kagome reached the other side of the well and got out. She looked out to find any trace of traitors. Kagome didn't see them so she jumped out and proceeded to walk towards the west. She has business to talk about with the Western Lord.
Kagome could sense demons all around her. She didn't know if they were to attack or just stay back so she kept on her guard while she traveled to Sesshomaru's castle. It seemed like she was walking forever before she finally got to the castle gates. It was almost midnight but she was sure Sesshomaru didn't sleep much.
Kagome walked into the castle and up to Sesshomaru's study. She knocked on the door before letting herself in. "Sesshomaru." She stated. "Well, Lady Kagome, What brings you to my castle?" he asked. He already knew what she wanted. "I want revenge." she said coldly. Sesshomaru grinned. He got up from his desk and walked over to her and whispered.. "My my, Little miko, do you wish for this Sesshomaru to help?" he said in a deadly tone. "Yes." she said, quietly. "Then I shall help."
