no longer knew. His movements toward Sara felt like
Awakening from a slumber
That had weighed him down
Emotionally, physically and mentally.
Reemerging to life, they have both changed.
Until she was ready, he waited to make love.
Needing her and needing more, but
Denial by him had taught her that her
Emotions and her heart needed shelter.
Reminding himself to be patient, he waited and watched and wooed.
The first date they went on, he
Held open doors, held her hand, and handed her his heart.
Evenings and mornings and afternoons were spent showing her his courage and caring.
Beautiful didn't do her justice, in the last year she had blossomed.
Radiating vitality and vibrancy and brilliance.
