A man rushed to the beach deep in the night. He panted hard as he made a mad dash to complete his duty. He kept looking back to see his pursuer, but nothing seemed to be visible for the moment. The man was ever vigilant, though.

He reached the beach and saw the sailboat that was waiting for him. As he climbed on board, the man looked over his shoulder one more time and saw a blast of energy coming straight toward him. He pulled out a brass shield that happened to be in the boat and it took the attack. The force shattered the shield. The man shouted, "WIND!", then a sphere of spiraling air generated near the sail, and the boat began to sail away. The man reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a type of grenade. He pulled the pin off and tossed it onto the shore. It detonated and there was no loud explosion, but rather a flash of light that seemed to radiate elegance and seemed to have a harmonious sound. The man assured that he was safe laid back and napped for a while.

Hours later, the thrashing of ocean waves waked him up. The sea was brutal. The man pulled out a bottle, which he kept his liquor in. Through the glass, he saw that it was empty and the man put it back in his coat pocket. He thought, after all, maybe it would not be good to be drunk in the presence of the King, who he would be seeing as soon as he reached the destination. The boat was bashed in the water and then it became clear as to why the current was so harsh. A great serpent rose from the ocean, it appeared black in the night and looked both fierce and dark. The man drew out his bottle again and pulled out a piece of paper. He rolled it up, stuffed it in the bottle and then put the cork on. He looked across the ocean and saw, on the horizon, the silhouette of land in the brightened sky of the coming sunrise. He chucked the bottle as far as he could in that direction. The serpent dove its face into the boat, not a split second afterwards, and both the man and his boat were lost forever.

By morning, the bottle reached the shore, but it was just past noon when it was found. A girl, Kairi, saw it and picked it up. She saw the King's seal on it and quickly ran to show it to her friends, Sora and Riku.
