Hello friends. It seems that the presence of the song has thrown some of you off, and that's quite all right, seeing as how I didn't explain it. So here it is:

I know that both Chase and House don't like their fathers and that they don't want anything to do with their dads, much less "be like them".

For those of you who have read some of my other stories, particularly Sugar On The Asphalt, you may have realized that I am fond of abstraction and contrast.

This song is the exact opposite of how Chase feels towards his father. The fact that it's so different and completely untrue is the reason as to why the song is here at all. I put it there because it's so painfully unlike Chase's relationship with his dad. I was aiming for bittersweet. -winks- Alas! I have failed.
